5 The annoying man.

After listening to the conversation, her eyes suddenly turned cold. Since he had already recognized himself as her boyfriend without her consent she was ready to give him an unforgettable present.

She sneered at the thought of him thinking that he had won. Since he had claimed ownership over her without her consent, she would never forget his kindness and return him the favor.

They thought of her as being weak but she swore over her dead body to never let him go. She swore to make his life a living hell.

She was done playing nice.

She was done being the innocent and kind Elle.

Not again would she be the girl whom everyone thought of as the girl with only brains. She was done hiding behind closed doors.

Now that her parents thought that she had a Blake in her life, she had to find whatever way to bring him home and toss him after using him for her benefit.

She held her phone in her hands hesitating whether to tell Sammie about what had happened since it was partly her fault but she couldn't bring herself to.

She decided to solve her issues all for herself.

She decided to browse the men at least to get information about him. He wasn't available on Google, he had no account on Instagram. In short, she didn't find anything about his name on any social media platform which she found strange but decided to let it slide for now.

Later that evening, she informed her mother that she was going to the Queen's. She lied about having to do the coursework and her mother let her go.

She packed some clothes and make-up in her backpack because she would need to change into relatively revealing clothes if she wanted to attract attention in that bar. She was sure that the man who be there.

She drove to the Queens and parked her car in the compound.

She pressed the password and entered it like it was her home. Sammie was watching a Television program that she didn't care about while his little brother was shading something in his drawing book.

"Elle?" Lane jumped into her arms the moment he recognized his presence.

"How have you been?" she patted his hair.

"I've missed you so much. I thought you didn't want me anymore." the nine-year-old Lane pouted.

"How can I hate someone as adorable as you? It's just that I had a lot of things to do." Ella squatted down to match Lane's height and cupped Lane's cheeks into her big palms. "Oh and, I have something for you." she smiled pulling her backpack from behind and placing it down.

"Really?" Lane jumped excitedly.

Elle pulled out a box of chocolate and handed it over to the little soul.

Out of excitement, the boy hugged his Godmother before receiving the box of chocolates and started jumping up and down.

"You are the best Godmother." he giggled

"Then I will have to borrow that animal over there for some minutes." she pointed at Sammie who had ignored them. She was used to them acting lovey-dovey every time Elle dropped by her house.

"She's all yours." he grinned while licking his lips

"Sammie," Long gone in Elle's voice was the soft tone she used with Lane. She placed daggers at her best friend before dragging her upstairs by her ear.

"What did I do this time?" Sammie retorted and struggled to free her ear from Elle but she couldn't.

"Shut up and just follow silently," Elle replied angrily

She pulled her to the room and tossed her on the bed. She made sure the door was closed properly before throwing her backpack on the floor.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" Sammie questioned.

Elle didn't respond and just looked at her.

The fear in Sammie's eyes grew with every ticking second. She knew Elle the best. She knew all her secrets. Even when everybody looked down on her, she wondered why she had to go through all that when she had almost everything people would dream of. She knew how fierce she would be once annoyed.

To save her butt from being kicked, she quickly knelt on the floor and lifted her hands in surrender.

"What a drama queen!" Elle wiped her forehead, walked passing Sammie, and sat on the bed cross-legged.

Sammie turned around.

"I swear I didn't mean to leave you all by yourself but my mother suddenly came back from work. You know how crazy my mother could be if she knew I was going out. I didn't dare to step out of the house but I promise to make it up to you. I will do anything you ask me to do as long as it's not illegal." She spoke in one go.

"Anythin'?" Elle's lips curved into a grin and her eyes sparkled excitedly

"Yup, anything." she nodded reassuringly

"Then you are going with me somewhere in an hour." Elle rolled her eyes.

"What? Where?" she asked

"You will know once we get there," Elle replied

"I'm going nowhere unless you tell me in advance," Sammie swore over her dead body.

She wasn't planning on telling her about everything that happened to her but she forced her to do so. She grinned at the imagination of Sammie's face after knowing it was her fault that things had turned upside down.

She narrated the whole story to Sammie whose mouth suddenly dropped on the floor. She was shocked that her best friend went all the way to get wasted and spent the night with a stranger even when nothing had happened between them. And then the craziest thing was him Calling her parents and telling them he was her boyfriend.

"What? You are planning on taking me to that filth place. Just because you want us to spy on that Blake guy. There's no way I'm sacrificing myself." she shook her head at the thought of that place.

"And who's fault is it?" Elle questioned.

"That place is packed with people gyrating against each other, their sweat-drenched bodies rubbing up against mine. I can't stand the stench of alcohol and drugs. There's no way I would go to such a place. No way." she responded with a hint of disgust in her voice. She even felt nauseous.
