His eyebrows rose as his peripheral vision captured a small spark. However, it was so instantaneous that it didn't take much of his attention, considering the more urgent issue outside the car. 

"Standby." He told his men, ready to fight if needed.

Kylo went out with his gun, tall and firm, and his team also went on defensive mode right behind him. 

Familiar glints of guns reached the attackers' sights and their hearts skipped beats. 

"They all had guns!!"

"How come?"

The aggressive momentum the trap-setters had deflated like a balloon, while a few sneered at them. 

"Cowards!" He yelled. He was pegged to be the co-leader of this team and he felt ashamed that his men were so intimidated just at the sight of other people.

They obviously had guns as well!! 

Nevertheless, it became a stalemate as everyone knew there would be a shootout if one party shot.
