Prince Marlon: The God's Herald
The Sovereign Kingdom of Nyverren is slowly plunged into economic disarray, instigated by a familial vendetta. It starts off with the murder of the King and Queen, leaving the heir, Marlon to ascend the throne as Sovereign Ruler.
A few days to his Coronation, Marlon is ambushed and killed by unknown men, who leave him dead on a deserted road and his betrothed marries his Uncle, who immediately ascends the throne as King.
Upon his awakening, he finds himself in an entirely different realm and whilst he believes he is just on a journey to the afterlife where he can finally reunite with his dead parents, he comes to a dead end, encountering the Trickster god.
This being, sprawling with an unfathomable aura, beams with so much power and light unlike anything Marlon has ever experienced. They engage in a conversation which would lead Marlon into discovering hidden truths behind his parents demise, his supposed death, and the current happenings within the Kingdom.
Of course, he wants to take his rightful place as Sovereign King and he believes this god can help him. But nothing comes free in this world.
For his reawakening to happen and for him to take his rightful place as Sovereign King, he strikes a deal with this god that has him embarking on a journey to retrieve The Orphic Origem.
He reawakens as a Herald and is plunged into a web of mysterious events, hidden truths about his ancestors and the necklace passed down to him, demons, hunters, and enemies he never made.
Realising that he has embarked on a journey massively beyond him by the Trickster god, Marlon is tricked into believing he can still retain an essence of himself.
