Chapter 2

It all started 5 months ago,I wanted to go back to my roots and document its culture and beauty not knowing I was falling into a pit of darkness

My journey started with myself alongside my four colleagues and one of them happens to be my best friend "Mimi" and then there is Dylan,Hannah and Nnamdi . It was all fun and bubbly,the area is beautiful but the road was all dusty which is the part I didn't like but it's fine,we can manage.

Finally we reached our destination

It's looks wonderful I said to Mimi

Sure it does but how are we going to survive this cause you know I love me some light and AC she sighed

Bestie you know the natural air is much more healthy and remember this can make us rich so cheer up girl cause we have got work to do.

Our driver who happens to know the people around already announced our arrival and the whole village were gathered to welcome us which was kind but at same time uncomfortable but all we did was have big smile on our faces

We were led to their king who they address as the "chief head", he welcomed us with generosity and seemed happy seeing us where I told him about my grandparents and he told us how close our families were and we should be rest assured,we will be taking care of and I felt so relieved,we were offered varieties of food and then escorted to our accommodation which is decent for a village,we all were assigned different rooms which was a great idea even though I wouldn't mind sharing a room with Mimi

I sighed and entered my room cause we had an exhausting day.
