Start of the Introverted Hero's Journey

"stop calling me your alarm clock," said a voice angrily. I instantly know that the agreed voice belonged to my mother and being half asleep I just had to open my mouth. "I didn't call you one" with an attitude without knowing. "Yes you did, you said snooze for five more minutes while hitting your clock," said my mom. "Ok sorry, so why are waking me up. It's the start of summer." My mother stared at me unwilling to believe that I am her chilled, "you are going to go boating with the group." I remembered and realized that I had no choice in the matter but still didn't want to go socialize. so being the smart Aleck that I am, I said "I don't see any boat, It must have been canceled," just to blow some steam. "Alexander Enderson, get your but out of bed now or I swear..." "Ok ok, I am out. Just don't get the cold water." That has happened before and I really didn't like it. "Good, now get dressed and get in the car. We are going and you are going to make some friends." I got dressed and ran straight to the car with a bag of clothes. I really hate wherein shorts so I just got in my regular clothes, grabbed the bag of swimming stuff, and ran. "Alex, what are you doing, never mined, You are late, let's go." I got in the car and grabbed some gummy snacks and started to get lost in my head until we got to the docks of the river.

"Isn't this part of the river the deepest area mom," just asking because the area looked like I have been here before. "Yes, way dos that matter," mom said with a very confused face. "Just wondering." A car with a propeller boat and a bunch of what I would call hooligans was in it. I sat away until the boat was in the water and watched as my mother was walking up to me. "Talk to some people, make some friends. It's not like it will create the end of the world," mom said trying to show that she is doing this for my well-being. "Sadly it won't," I mumbled. "Just go and wear a life jacket," said my mother. "I only need to wear it on the inflatable, not the boat. On the boat, the jacket just has to be there." "You are so stubborn, just make certain that you are safe. see you later." "I promise I will come back, see you." Mom went off to the car and I left for the boat.

I sat more to the front center area of the boat just feeling the motion of the boat while staring at the floor of the boat. Dering a tern I was feeling the motion of the boat and noticed that "there is kinetic energy being wasted because of the of the motion of the boat." "What a weirdo," said a girl towards the front of the front. I didn't look at her but I can see her feet with my peripheral vision. I thought it would have been fun to start rambling a bunch of facts about a fusion reactor without looking at her and I can hear her feeling uncomfortable. Ether she just feels dumb or all the information is flying over her head. Never the less, it was fun. I stopped talking for a bit because something felt off. the motion of the boat was going in a very odd direction. All of the sudden, the funt of the boat went up words for a split second. there was enough kinetic energy for me to notice the girl's feet were going up. I stood up maintaining balance and looked at her noticing that she is falling at the dead front of the boat with a life jacket on. Out of pure reaction, I grabbed her focusing my feet as a pivot point trying to transfer the kinetic energy from her body to mine. Next thing, I was headed for the water. THERE IS NOT A CHANCE THAT I AM DIEING, NOT UNTILL I AFTER I GET HOME. I got under the boat, thankfully without a life jacket or I would die. I tried to push myself out from underneath and barely missed the propeller. Suddenly there was a current pulling me down and there was a bright light. At the time, I thought that it was a portal but that was the geeky side of me running.

In a split second, I went from drowning underwater to falling to my death at about 500 ft. "None of this makes sense, what Is going on." I looked down and noticed that there was a forest. Hopefully, the trees break my fall and not me. I don't want to meet Vlad the Impaler. I started to feel trees hitting me and the blank. I am pretty certain that I passed out but I can barely hear anything except what would like someone saying ha over and over from behind me. so I turned around and. "Uhf." All that I could see was shiny golden hair. and hit my head on the ground, again. and started hearing horses with men wherein very fancy clothes. I guess I should start practicing my manors otherwise, I could meet the swords they have in a very dangerous way.
