Chapter 33: She's Uneasy

Norris Moore sighed lightly in her heart, and looked at him with a flirtatious smile: "Mr. Smith, don't forget to wear it tonight."

She reached out to hold his face, complaining, "You didn't wear one last night, and I don't want to take the pill."

She felt Trenton Smith pause for a moment.

"Don't worry, I've already taken emergency contraception." She stuffed a condom from the bedside table into his hand, "24-hour emergency contraception is still effective, but it's better to be safe than sorry."

Trenton Smith looked at the smile on her face, which was beautiful, but not entirely sincere. It was a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.

He waved his hand and threw the condom back onto the bedside table, "If the contraceptive effect hasn't passed, why bother wearing it?"

Norris' smile faltered slightly as the man lowered his head and kissed her.

She did not know if it was because of nervousness or fear, but she felt a bit uncomfortable.
