After walking a little more, I decide to ask Odon why Alvar talk so much to me. I give him a summary of why I pick him and our conversation.

We use to play many wear games, Odon says that they will help us been great hunters. And that must game are just focused on reflects and memory. Some of my favorites are the tag game, hide and seek, Marco Polo, hot hands. I say they are my favorites, but the truth is that they were the only ones that I sometimes win against Odon. He usually says that I have good reflects and I'm good with details. A funny fact is that he stopped playing hide and seek with me after I awakened my skill.

Odon block the fat goblin and another one close to it, I was alone with the smallest one. He fist try hitting me with a rock that it has on his hands. I got a little distracted, my skill activate, I saw a blurred essence of this goblin killing another one for some rabbit meat. Is it possible that he is human? I quickly stop finking about that and block just in time. I can feel my heart beats faster than ever. I block a few more hits from the goblin and got a lucky hit on his hand while blocking. He looks on pain and throws the rock at me. After that, he took some distance and start throwing small objects at me, compare to Odon he is slow, in spite of been dark I could easily block the stones.

It has been less than one minute, but I start getting worried. Looking at Odon I notice that he already kill the fat goblin and is dealing with the other. I can't help but be surprised at how calm he is. Then I think about something and start getting close to the goblin, but not in a stray line. I was circling in the direction opposite to where Odor is. Now I can see the goblin and Odon on the same line. Just like expected, Odon just gives the last hit to the other goblin and start running in my direction. My target heart the sound of his companion dying cry and look back. We are just 3 meters away, I spin with all my mind and hit the goblin on the throat from behind. I'm sweating all over, the goblin hit the floor and Odon cut his head when he got closer.

This was the first time I kill someone, also I don't think is human, the fact that I saw his secret is a fact. I fall to the floor and start throwing up. By the time I got hold of myself Odon has already cut open the chest of the 3 goblins, looks like the fat one was pregnant so we have 4 monster stones. After taking a few more puffs of air I start feeling better. Odon told me to follow behind him and 15 meters ahead of us was a cave. Un... more like a small hole on the ground, is not even half a meter dip, so we could see all the insides. There are 5 baby goblins, and 3 animal of other species that are fat as well and look haft dead. I still don't feel well enough so Odon kills them all. The fat ones were females, and where impregnate with goblins. Aren't they different species?

This time I help taking out the monster stones, We have in total 15 stones, 4 from before plus 11 we just got, also we took the fur of one of the monsters we just kill, a pig likes monster. A lot happens in the last hour. I knew that after coming to the capital my life will change, but I didn't expect that it will start changing before we got there. After a small rest, we start moving back to the camp.

After we got back Alvar start apologizing to me.

"I'm really sorry, it was meant to be a small valor test. You weren't supposed to find more monster. After all, we are very far from the dense part of the forest. Anyway if by the time you are 14 you don't have a job look for me, I will help you apply to the city guards."

With this I got to know that our fight, the life and death struggle, and the life-changing event was just a mistake, Isn't it funny?

Despite the monster stones been too small, we were given an extra 10 silver as payment as an apology for the danger. Now we have 106 gold and 10 silvers. There really is no easy way to earn money, I now feel more indebted to my father for the gold coin he gave us. I can't deny that I was a little jealous of Odon parents that gave us 5 golds.
