Kazuki's discovery

Kazuki's father then stuck out his hand and pressed it against the lightning around Kazuki. The lightning began unforming from armor to just lightning. Kazuki's father closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The lightning then started disappearing. Kazuki was shocked and had no idea what was going on.

"Wha-what happened? " Kazuki asked his father. "I observed the lightning, Kazuki. And I will show you how to do the same.... but after dinner, of course. Cause your mother is not a patient woman. Hahaha. That and I'm also very hungry." Kazuki's father replied.

Kazuki then went upstairs to his room and closed the door behind him. Then he started changing his clothes and unpacking his backpack. When he was done, he then went downstairs. As he was changing, he was thinking about a ton of questions to ask his father about the powers. When he got downstairs, he saw his father sitting on the couch and what looked like worrying. Kazuki then asked his father, "Don't you think it would've been very dangerous for me to activate my powers without knowing they exist and get someone hurt by accident? You should've probably told me a little sooner.

"No, I could not risk you using them in public for something small and stupid. Like someone got the last cookie. As a kid, you make bad decisions if you have money or power. So no, I'm sorry you had to find out this way, Kazuki." Kazuki's father replied.

"Oh, ok. Well, that does make a little sense. But it's very risky." Kazuki said. "Yes. I know that, Kazuki. But it had to be done." Kazuki's father said.

"Boys! Dinner is ready!" Shouted Kazuki's mother.

"OK, mom!" Kazuki said a little loudly.

"OK, babe!" said Kazuki's father loudly.

Kazuki's father got off the couch and headed towards the dining room. And Kazuki followed not too far behind. All three of them sat down at the dinner table and began to eat their dinner. After all of them were done eating dinner, Kazuki's mother cleaned up all the dishes and headed over to the sink with them to wash them. Kazuki and his father were left sitting at the table face to face. Kazuki then asked, "So are we the only people with superpowers in the world?"

"No, I have the same powers as you do, Kazuki. But your mom does not, so I guess I will have to train you to use and control your powers and emotions properly on my lonesome. but first, you must learn the hero code." Kazuki's father replied.

"You have powers too? were you ever a superhero?" Kazuki asked.

"Yes, and I was a part of a team, too." Said Kazuki's father.

"Wow, cool. So am I gonna have a team, too?" Kazuki asked.

"I'm not sure, Kazuki. I don't know of any other teams. or other people with powers, for that matter," said Kazuki's father. "

"Oh, ok....well, am I still gonna be a superhero? because you said it was my destiny to fight evil. right?" Kazuki asked.

"Yes, if you want to be a superhero, you can, but with enough training, that is. and of course, the superhero code." Kazuki's father replied.
