1 The Awakening of the Demon

Up in the dark cloudy sky of Zayamisu Kingdom, the moon had given up on its pure white colour and had accepted it's dark red colour and outside the castle, in that shadows the skies were pouring pretty heavily like never before and the winds were also blowing at its full pace. And in that rainy night through the streets of Zayamisu, a man named Yuji Tanaka with his pregnant wife Momo were migrating from another part of the mainland to Zayamisu town and while they were walking in that heavy rain under one umbrella looking for a roof to keep themselves dry from the rain.

Yuji made himself wet and protected his pregnant wife Momo from the rain and maintained the duties of a true, loving and caring husband. After a long walk through the streets of Zayamisu, Yuji somehow managed to get a shabby shelter for that night and he took his wife there and made her sleep there. Yuji looked outside the broken window.

"The climate changed pretty quickly till evening there was not even a sign of rain tonight", said Yuji to his wife who was tired after the long hours of walk.

"Yes, honey! You are right.", Momo replied.

Yuji looked towards his wife with great love in his eyes and made the broken window get fixed with some scrap which was present in the shabby shelter itself. And Yuji glided his hands through his lovely wife's hair and said placing a kiss over her forehead."Now get some sleep! You are pregnant don't forget that Momo". I will find a nice place tomorrow so we can start a new life here in Zayamisu."

But while on one side where Yuji & Momo were planning to start a new life in Zayamisu at the same moment in the King's castle situated at Zayamisu town's heart, some other events were taking place inside crown prince Kasai's room. And all those events were totally above the expectations or understanding of any normal being. As the time reached its peak of the night and when the crown prince Kasai turned 18 years old that midnight. At that hour, the moon up in the sky had fully attained its reddish colour. Suddenly the prince Kasai inside his room started to grind his tooth & started making weird noises and began acting weirder & weirder in the middle of the night.

And during that night also, as usual, guards were on duty outside the crown prince Kasai's room that night. As the royal guards heard those weird & spooky noises from the prince room. They all thought some intruder had got into the castle area crossing the guards on duty & the intruder was trying to harm the crown prince Kasai. As the noise from the room got louder their belief about the intruder also got stronger. Itsuki Yamamoto, head of royal guards & who was present at the duty site that night suddenly shouted with great aggression in his voice, "All guards get that intruder who is trying to harm our crown prince".

As the royal guards heard this order they all rushed towards the crown prince's room and opened the door of prince's room to catch the intruder but no one was there in the room and the crown prince Kasai was also missing from his royal bed. Everyone got puzzled & started to scratch their heads. And they all decided to split up & start searching for the missing crown prince. And as a step when the second group of guards were going to step out of the prince's room to look for him outside the room they all heard a weird sound from above their heads. They all cautiously looked over the ceiling at the same time. The view which they witnessed there scared all of them, the crown prince Kasai was hanging upside down from the room's ceiling without any rope or suspenders. As the guards saw this event a guard who was standing behind asked, " What's happening? And, how our prince is hanging like that without any support".

One of the other guards who was standing right next to him said, " How can I know that! You stupid?".

Suddenly, prince Kasai who was hanging on the ceiling came down within a blink of eyes and at the next blink, they all saw he was sitting on a bundle of swords holding a katana sword in his hands. The guards got astonished and checked out their katana's which were kept tight to their waist belt and found it to be missing. After seeing that they all stood still. And the next events they all witnessed in that room was just splashing of blood all around and heads of guards falling one by one down on the floor. These events made the other remaining guards that much freak out they all started to run towards the door from where they all entered the room. But suddenly the crown prince appeared in front of the gateway & asked in a creepy voice, " Guys! Where are you all going leaving me alone here in this darkness? These much time I have been in forcefully put up on rest. And at last, the moment is here! And, what you all are doing? Instead of entertaining me. What you all saw just nowhere at this moment of time was just a warmup of mine. Now I'm in total form let's play. Anyway now I will rule the whole kingdom from tomorrow! A new day with a new king". Then he slaughtered the remaining guards also who were inside the room and where trying to escape the scene. Then he started to lick upon the floor & drink upon the blood & started eating the dead bodies of the dead sitting over the pile of the head of guards.

Even after a long time when there wasn't any sign of the royal guards who were sent to catch the intruder. The anxious head of Royal guards, Itsuki Yamamoto decided to go himself and check out the scene. When he reached the corridor of the crown prince Kasai he started to hear someone chewing upon bones and when he went some more closer he felt wetness over the corridor and when he checked what was that it. He also got shocked it was pure warm blood. As the scene was bad there he slowly took out his katana and held it in his arms & walked slowly & slowly without making any noise. When he reached the prince's door he slightly glided the door and took a peek inside, seeing the events inside gave him goosebumps. The scene he saw was that the crown prince Kasai was vigorously eating upon humans and the foul smell coming from the prince's room was miserable.

Then suddenly even without looking backwards, the crown prince asked Head of Royal guard Itsuki, " How are you Itsuki? Would you like to have some?". After hearing that pathetic question and miserable smell all together made Itsuki vomit there itself.
