Ten Titanic Captains

The Captain or Admiral of the Blackbeard pirates was already taken out of the battle very early on due to his own carelessness along with one of the Ten Titanic Captains.

It had left the remaining nine of them to handle the rest of the battle while Blackbeard, Doc Q and Stronger were being searched for before they drowned.

The wound left behind on Stronger would let it bleed out and being exposed to water would not help it in any way so it was very likely that if it was not brought out of the water soon then it would be the first death among the crew.

Catarina Devon had lost the ability to use one arm after being shot so the power of the Ten Titanic Captains had been reduced even further.

Catarina Devon, Jesus Burgess and Shiryu were all sent towards the ship that Carrot was standing on so each of them had already begun to fight against her seriously.

Vasco Shot and Avalo Pizarro were sent directly on board the MMA but there was still Van Augur, Lafitte and Sanjaun left over among the available main combatants from those that could fight.

Further inside of the ship that Van Augur was shooting from was a tall man that was sleeping with many bottles scattered all around him.

The last Ten Titanic Captain that existed was busy sleeping off the alcohol that he had drunk earlier and was too lazy to lift a finger in the battle unless he was actually needed.

Kuzan was previously one of the three Admirals of the Marines until he had chosen to leave after being spared by Akainu once their fight had finished.

He found himself drifting around until he finally found himself in the same bar as the Blackbeard Pirates where he was drowning his sorrows.

One thing led to another after having some conflicts with them and making up with them later over drinks until he had become more well known as a traitor of the Marines and a Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates.

Even on such a big movement that had been made by them, Kuzan had been sleeping and had no intention of doing anything unless it was absolutely required of him to do so.

If he so much as moved a little then it was very easy for him to tip the scales in the favour of the Blackbeard Pirates once more.

One single use of Ice Age could prevent any kind of means of escape or handle any kind of threats that could have come up.

The giant snake under that water that was approaching at a fast speed towards the other ships was one such problem that he could deal with if he chose to freeze the surrounding water but that would cause the ships everyone was on to be frozen in place.

If the ships could not move then they would not be able to get in range to fire upon their enemies or to climb on board the enemy ships.

There may have been great advantages to having him with them but it was not like him using his abilities was without disadvantages so nobody had bothered him during his sleep until the timing was right for him to act.

Since Kuzan was not participating, Van Augur had to temporarily leave him out of his plans and shouted. "Everyone prepare to be sent over. The rest of you will be bringing the ships closer. Kikipatsu, Mari and Tori lead the way and deal with anyone that gets in the way."

He took aim and many people started to rush to his side to touch him before they were sent towards the MMA, the body of Van Augur had occasionally blinked from one location to another as he narrowly avoided the bullets that were fired by Val.

There were some minor crew members that were shot and were heavily wounded but there were others that had narrowly avoided being harmed due to Van Augur quickly making use of his Warp Devil Fruit to send them somewhere else.

He kept a close watch over Val and kept firing towards her but was unable to hit her so he had to occasionally focus his attention towards the other ship. 'If only the first plan had been successful..'

If the assassination of Carrot had been successful then splitting the forces between two areas would not be needed and there would be no need to carefully consider how to use the remaining forces available to him.

Sending Sanjaun Wolf to the wreckage would only cause further damage and cause it to sink so he could not do that.

If the ship sunk then not just one Titanic Captain would be lost but three due to them being unable to swim and possessing Devil Fruits.

The only person that still did not possess a Devil Fruit among them was Jesus Burgess so he could still swim and retrieve them if they fell into the water but having Sanjaun Wolf be added to the ship would cause more damage to the ship itself and would cause it to sink faster.

The first plan had been to have Catarina Devon and Shiryu to use their abilities to hide among the people that were left alive on the ship after switching out one person among those that had been taken out of the room where the survivors were being held.

Shiryu could remain invisible due to his Invisibility Devil Fruit so he had made sure to mask his smell to blend in with everyone that was in the room so he would not be noticed when he did his best to hide his presence.

Catarina Devon took on the appearance of one of the people on the ship and waited for her opportunity to strike using her illusionary abilities of the Nine-Tailed Fox Devil Fruit.

One was able to hide themselves for a silent assassination while the other was able to fool her opponent before getting close enough to attack or to do enough to be able to ensure the success of the assassination.

Unfortunately they had encountered Carrot who would not be so easily killed after she had faced a bad experience in space and suffered as a result of it then was put through difficult training by Alyssia for so long.
