462 Kuzan

Van Augur heard the yawn coming from Kuzan which was followed with his general disinterested voice so he got annoyed.

Just as he was about to berate Kuzan for not helping them out due to his drunken state where he had put himself into a deep sleep, a sudden interruption came all of a sudden which had caused both him and Kuzan to be shocked.

The plan was to use Kuzan to mess with the water around the MMA to trap them in the middle of the sea until it thawed out or to use him to reclaim those that had been lost during the war.

The plan was very simple.

Grab Kuzan.

Warp with him onto the MMA.

Let him release an Ice Age move or something similar to his surroundings while warping away.

Finally returning to grab Kuzan once it was over and if he was able to affect the bubble prisons to help free the captured Devil Fruit users that had been captured then he would warp to them to pick them up.

It was a risky plan but it would be very damaging to anyone that was caught up in the release of ice cold powers.

The biggest thing getting in the way of the plan would be convincing Kuzan to wake up and take action.

Unfortunately that was cut short all of a sudden when some metallic object that had a large amount of Electro still attached to it crashed through the ship with great power and speed.

It was such a precise shot that even Kuzan could not avoid it in time.

He woke up a little from his previous state and his Observation Haki was put up to be able to sense danger all of a sudden. "Get down."

His warning came too late as even he himself could not move out of the path of the metallic ball.

He had moved around his body splitting it up as best as he could using his logia ability in order to avoid it but a large amount of his form was still hit by most of the impact causing those parts of his body to shatter into broken shards of ice.

The Electro seemed to have hurt him a little due to the overall effects that electricity has on water and ice but his strong body was tough enough to be able to negate a lot of the real damage.

It seemed more of an inconvenience than anything else but Kuzan reformed his body and knit his brows. 'Teach really picked a losing battle this time..'

He could sense that the ball had continued to fly through the ship leaving destruction as it passed through until it disappeared further away into the sea.

Kuzan could also sense the large distance that it had been shot from along with a strong presence on board the MMA. 'To be able to go against teacher Garp and still be able to scare off a newly appointed Emperor crew in such a short time.. very impressive.'

He was well aware of how strong Garp was since Garp had train him using the ships in the ship graveyard as punching bags.

That kind of training was very difficult and had helped him grow into what he had achieved, Garp had still kept up that kind of training despite him growing older so there even if his age was beginning to take a physical tole on his body, he was still able to do a large amount of damage to others in his old age.

The amount of damage he could do with his fists was an awful lot and many had suffered because of that with Don Chinjao being one of them in the past.

There was no way that Alyssia would have gotten away unscathed even if she came out as the victor of the duel so it was surprising that she was still able to successfully pull off a second feat when she had little time to rest and heal.

He and many others had misjudged her greatly and it had cost the Blackbeard Pirates a lot.

Just as he was in his thoughts and was considering what action to take next, a strong presence bore down on not only him but those around him.

It was the kind of presence or aura that had affected even a former Admiral of the Marines.

What happened surprised him even more was what came next.

The strong Conquerors Haki that spread out and pressed down onto them suddenly came with a female voice that spoke coldly to them. "Get lost while I am allowing you guys to get away! Do not make me have to get more blood on my hands today!"

Kuzan's eyes widened as he thought to himself. 'This kind of presence is… similar to how Shanks uses his Haki. No perhaps it may even be a little stronger?'

He turned towards Van Augur and lazily said. "We leave.. this is far too much for me to handle."

There was no way he was going to try going along with whatever plan Van Augur had in mind when the opponent was still watching over them and was anticipating their every move.

He had a faint guess from his experiences and his Observation Haki that if he moved to cooperate with Van Augur then it would be too late to stop the death of Van Augur who would be targeted next with little room to use his warping ability to save himself.

He looked around the rest of the ship and sighed. "What a mess.. I am going back to sleep."
