Improvement

An hour had passed by quickly as Alyssia was barely able to land any effective hits on Garp while she was being pummelled by him a lot.

Her whole body was sore but the later hits she had taken were slowly beginning to lose their effectiveness.

If there was anything that had been gained from their long fight then it was an improvement to her use of Armament Haki and Conqurors Haki to guard her body.

There was some improvement to her Observation Haki too but she was still not at the stage where she could land an effective hit on Garp when his guard was up or be able to counter him.

The most she had been able to do at times was to clash head on with him as her feet had went head on with his fists.

It felt like a mountain was crushing down on her each time that he came at her and punched out so there was increasing pressure and a feeling of danger that had let her realise that she had greatly underestimated Garp.

He may have regressed a little but it was not by that much and he was still powerful enough to deal with many tough people in the world.

Her mastery over the Paper Art and Iron Body had gradually improved enough to be used more effectively in battle against him and once she was in danger, she could respond by adding them onto her ways of reducing the damage that she had taken.

Garp had evaded several kicks by her and appeared close once again so her tail had come around her body quickly and hardened as it wrapped around her.

It quickly was surrounded by Armament Haki and a thin layer of Conqurors Haki that she was slowly getting the grasp of in using it in battle.

The tail and other body parts had hardened as the fist had slammed into her and sent her flying away again before crashing into some trees in the distance.

It kept repeating as Alyssia had slowly got enough foresight to be able to defend herself better and she was able to harden her body enough to avoid any critical damage.

Alyssia may have been thrown around the island by Garp like she was a ball but the battle was slowly looking like there were many scenes repeating themselves.

Garp had grit his teeth and shouted. "You are so stubborn kid. Just give up or at least use your trump card."

Alyssia had climbed up from a pit in the ground and grit her teeth. "What are you feeling sorry for me now? This is not over yet."

Her figure had disappeared again and reappeared by his side, her foot was sent sweeping around towards his waist but Garp had already shifted his body to block it before throwing another punch towards her. "Fly away."

Alyssia was knocked up into the sky and had passed through the clouds above but had suddenly shot back down looking like she had just experienced something thrilling. "Again.. do it again!"

Her body shot downward from the sky and started to rotate as she performed several flips until her heel came crashing down onto Garp who was below.

Sengoku who was further away had grit his teeth and shouted. "Garp! Stop playing around and end this! Something is wrong here!"

He was the wiser one of the group so even if Garp did have excellent combat instincts, Sengoku was able to see a much broader view from the outside and had sensed that something was amiss.

He had seen that Alyssia had slowly stopped looking badly damaged from the later hits and was gradually adjusting to each attack that was made by Garp so he had soon figured out what was going on. 'She is stalling the fight and is using him to improve herself. This needs to end now or a monster will be born.'

Garp had heard the words of Sengoku and clenched his fist harder as his Haki had reached its peak.

He positioned his body so that he would swing his arm up towards the sky to meet Alyssia and had then shouted out. "Galaxy Impact!"

Alyssia had shouted out as her heel had come crashing down. "Divine Serpent: Jörmungandr!"

Her legs had moved around her body as she continued to flip her body at a high speed just like a large snake moving and coiling around the planet.

More power and speed had been built up from her fall and rotation until her heel came crashing down like a large serpent that had struck out towards its prey.

A massive release of energy had been released between the two of them as their two techniques had met each other but an odd phenomenon had taken place between them.

None of their bodies were touching each other and there was a gap between them that was made up of the force that they had both created using their physical prowess, their techniques and their mastery over Haki.

A massive wave of Conquerors Haki was released in all directions as two Conquerors had met had on at full force for the first time.

Those in the distance that were too weak had fallen down feeling lightheaded or had passed out.

Even Tsuru and Sengoku could feel the pressure that was created by the clash when they were much further away from the battle.

The two sides continued to stay like they were until one side pushed back harder and sent Alyssia flying back again into the sky.

Her body had curled up into a protective position as she had flew across the sky and had disappeared into the clouds again.

There was suddenly a loud laugh from above. "Hahahaha! Yes! This is it! More!"
