Chapter 13

Having stood there for quite some time now, Robert's father now told him that they both should now enter his grand mother's house. As immediately, Robert's father bent down trying to wipe off the left over tears that were still found on Robert's face especially on his chicks.

This was because Robert had already started crying just to think that his father was going to leave him all by him self with his grand mother for over some time before he was going to come back for him. But how ever, Robert was very sure that his father was one day going to come back for him.

If not any moment now, it will be some time in the future but he was very convinced in his mind that his father will come back for him not too long. As his father was wiping off his tears completely. He was doing this because he did not want that his son should enter his grand mother's house being like that.

How ever , there was the need for them to do what was necessary and face the kind of situation that they both were facing as the situation was very crucial.

How ever, as he was done wiping out the tears on his son's chicks as well as his face, he now stood upon his feeds immediately as he was ready now to go inside the house.

" Alright Robert, it's time for us to go inside the house so that you can meet your grand mother and start living with her as well. " Said Robert's father with a very calm and subdued voice as he was trying to make Robert calm down and to also continue assuring him that he will always keep to his promises no matter what happens as well as no matter what be the case that they both will be facing in life.

His father was ready to fight all the struggles as well as all the difficulties in life with his son as he has never had the intention nor the mind set to ever leave his son alone.

Robert lifted his head up as he tries to look at his father's face while he was talking to him was feeling so bad as he pitied his father so much. Especially as he has always been seeing his father suffering for him constantly with out stopping just to see and make sure as well that he was fine and had nothing to worry about.

That was just fatherly love towards his only son. His son at that particular point in time means every thing to him. Robert at that particular time meant a lot to him even more than his life. That could only be called love and nothing else.

Robert saw his father sweating endlessly and breathing so fast due to the so much load that he had carried till that place. There was the need for that as he was already so tired but could not rest when he had not yet seen his son Robert being comfortable with his grand mother in her house.

As he immediately knocked at the door. While Knocking for the first time, Robert's father turned and looked at his son to see how he felt. Things were not that ok with him but he understood and managed the situation perfectly for a young boy of his age.

His grand mother while being in the kitchen did not really hear the sound of the knock at the door as she was cooking a very delicious meal. The meal could be so portraying that it started filling the entire neighbor hood. That is what happens when grand mothers enter the kitchen.

The kind of flavour that is being perceived when a young person is cooking and a grand mother is cooking are two different worlds as the grand mother always looks for a way to make the food smell and taste good even though all the ingredients that are being needed to cook the food are not present.

This is very contrary to that which a young person cooks in which most often, all the ingredients are present but the food still does not smell as good as that which a grand mother will cook, not to talk about the food tasting as well as that which a grand mother will cook.

That is a clear difference between a young person and a grand mother while cooking. This can not be quarrelled about. How ever, it was very evident with Robert's grand mother as the smell from her food was trending in the whole neighbourhood as any one who perceives it can not be able to resist it for any reason.

How ever, it was a very good thing that Robert had got to know his grand mother very well at that particular time. It was a very good idea as it will help him to be familiar and use to living around other people.

Robert's father seeing that no one was coming to open up the door for them, he now decided to knock again for the second time. And this time, knocking with a lot of force so that his mother could finally hear the sound where ever she was.

Knocking, his mother heard from with in the kitchen. " O ! That must be Robert and his father. " She says while being certain of what she was saying at that moment .

But instantly, she started asking her self that what if it was not Robert and his father but some one else as she now responded immediately asking a question.

" Who is at the door ? " she asked from the top of her voice as she started heading directly towards the direction of the door to see who was there. As she continued asking the question being so curious about the fact that she was not so certain that it was Robert and his father that were knocking at the door.

" Who is there ? " she continued asking as she had already arrived at the door. She now sent her eyes through the keyhole at the door to see who was standing there as she now saw that it was her son and little Robert who was standing in front of the door as they were waiting for her to come and open up the door for them.

Robert's grand mother seeing that was so happy that they had finally made it to her house she hurriedly started opening the door for them to enter. Immediately as she finally succeeded to open up the door for them to enter, she stood in front of the door being so excited that she gave both Robert and his father a very mighty and huge hug that meant so many things to her.

Just from the kind of hug that she gave them, one could quickly tell that she was so happy seeing them at her house that particular time. She was so excited that at least she could pass time with her grand son too for a period of time before his father come back to take him away with him.

It was not an easy thing for his father to do but there was the need for him to carry out that sacrifice because it was very necessary for them both as well as it was a very good and nice decision that they both could ever take. That was because Robert's father needed some space so that he could concentrate in order to work a lot of money so that he could be able to take care of them both.

How ever, she immediately told them to enter the house. As they both decided to enter. his grand mother finally tries helping Robert's father to carry up the so many things that he was carrying on his body as she had noticed thAt that moment in time, he looked so weary as he was sweating so much as well as he was looking so pale. From his look, his mother could really see that he was not doing fine at all. How ever, she could understand his situation so well and she knew as well that he was not doing well on his side just like the way he was expecting them to go. at her son was already so exhausted and very tired.

How ever , she wanted to be of help to him and his son as she accepted the proposal that her son had given to her insisting and pleading with her so that Robert can come and start living with her. While he goes out and starts looking for a lot of money in order to take care of them.

As well as he further explained that being with Robert all the time hinders him a lot as it makes him to put aside so many things that could help them both so that they could have money just to be with him.

Robert's father in his present situation was just so annoyed with him self every single second that passed by as well as he was so upset that he could not provide every thing that his son needed at once to him with out any complications.

As well as he had always wanted to die because of the numerous suffering that he was undergoing every single day. The kind of suffering that he was undergoing was just inexplicable as no one could understand the kind of problems that he was going through at that moment except him. Only he alone knew the kind of problems that he was facing.

But any way, no matter how many times he had decided to end his life for all reasons the reasons on earth that had been making him suffer, he had always had a single reason that will always make him to change his mind and not kill him self. And that particular reason is his son Robert.

Robert at that particular point in time meant every thing to him as just for him to think about him while committing suicide was a very huge weapon to demoralize him and make him change his mind at once.

Just the thought that if he dies now he does not know what his son will become. As well as the kind of suffering that his son will now start to undergo due to his absence. He will not be able to survive with all the hard life that he will be facing.

If only living with his father, Robert is still suffering so much to a fault, what if his father was dead? What will be the suffering at that time? The suffering at that point in time will be ten times more than the one that he was undergoing at that particular time.

Robert's grand mother seeing that was so happy that they had finally made it to her house she hurriedly started opening the door for them to enter. Immediately as she finally succeeded to open up the door for them to enter, she stood in front of the door being so excited that she gave both Robert and his father a very mighty and huge hug that meant so many things to her.
