So, I got myself in a very big mess that I myself don't know how to put myself in.

"I think you are misunderstanding something, sir. I am of course from Tokyoyoku magic school. But this school is also all in one school. It also teaches normal things like math and science" I told them.

I can see disappointment on their faces.

"Does that mean you are not even mage?" Flauros asked me in his hiss tone.

"Yeah. I am not. I didn't even awaken my mana core yet" I replied at best not to try to be afraid of this guy.

I can see changes in his face.

"You are telling me that we are freaking on 5,165 meters above than sea level in the fucking middle of the world! And you are telling me that this girl and few of the students will not be mage at all?! And that school! How can they be irresponsible to bring non-mages here?!" he yelled at me at full power.

"She is just a kid and we didn't mention anything in our tour plan that we only need magicians" Adam backed up for me.

So, before you ask me many questions about how and what is happening without explanation or shit like that. Let me explain in small terms. First of all, of course our world is filled with technology but it doesn't mean we forgot about our ancient magical culture unlike you guys.

Let's begin with what mana is. Mana is essentially life energy that exists everywhere and in everything. Now, you will be thinking how inanimate objects like metal or plastic got mana? Well, you can say mana is also a metaphysical energy. It defines your existence. Mana is what gives you meaning at all. Just like your name gives the meaning. It is the same thing. So, does the universe also have mana? Yes but not as strong as in the past. This all happened after Jesus Christ's death. When the AD era began. Yes, BC then AD then ND. When Jesus Christ was put on the cross, He took the sin of humanity upon him. After His death, humans got cleared from the original sin.

And after His resurrection humanity was given a new fresh start.

Mana from the universe dried up. So, the universe doesn't hold that much mana. During the ND era, some people were accidentally able to sense mana in the surrounding faintly. Then they research the lost thing. Now, we can awaken mana core! Except me!

Now, what is mana core you are asking? As I said that I didn't awaken but I can still sense mana. Mana core. Before explaining this, let me explain what concept it works on. Atman. It is a concept about the self itself as your soul. It works on three basic principles. Mind, body and soul. You have to understand yourself by understanding these three. Your existence itself. As your soul holds concepts about you, memories and achievement hold it. Once you are able to understand yourself which is nigh impossible then you are able to merge your mind, body and soul into one thing. Then from this union, a mana core is formed which stores mana. Mana inside your mana core shows how strong your atman is. You can absorb mana also from the atmosphere but due to the great cataclysm, it can't happen anymore.

Back to the story.

Adam and Flauros are talking about me as Flauros cursing and Adam protecting me. I think I should not be here in the first place. So, I slack off from here.

I am just walking without direction as I only want to go far distance from that Flauros guy. He is a demon leopard for sure.

As I was wondering in a nonsensical way. I bump into someone.

"Ouch! Sorry for bumping you!" I apologize to him.

"Nah, it's okay. It was my mistake" I see that he is giving me a hand of help.

I took his hand and stood up and dust off my uniform.

"Thanks for helping me! I am Higashi Hikari!" I said as I went for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you! I am Miyamoto Yusuke"

Yusuke is different compared to those two. Yusuke doesn't have any friendly or angry nature from what his eyes show. But his eyes were full of curiosity when he looked at me. Yusuke doesn't have a weird appearance but he is weird. He is wearing simple clothes in this famous place.

"A tour kid? Are you here to explore this place? Are you a magician?" He asked with excitement like when a kid sees an atomic bomb for the first time.

"Umm…I am not but I can sense mana. You say that I can't even awaken!" I told him with disappointment.

"That's cool! I can't even sense mana and I am 18 years old" he smiled shyly.

"Then…why are you here?" I am curious about that. A simple street guy is here.

"Well, the head of this research center is my best friend. She is priestess Brillith"

No way!

"You are friends with Brillith Eralith?! The one of the greatest magicians whose family lineage is master in summoning magic paths! I can't believe that I am here! Can I get her autograph as a family heirloom?! Please tell me!"

He didn't say anything.

"I think…I can't do this. But if you want then I can give you small information" he told me.

I nod my head to see his face. Why is he looking more like the protagonist than me?! This is cheating!

"This place was created by the Eralith family. They are the family whose trace can be found even in the ancient civilization time but now they are far weaker from their ancestral potential"

"Ancient civilization?" I ask with confusion.

"In modern day language we call them that. Those people who were from ancient times of the BC era. Ancient civilization people are the greatest magicians ever lived on earth as they can use all magical spells. Not only that, they can even summon avatars of gods in my opinion. Just a small portion of their divine power as borrow" he told him.

I can't process his words at all.

He already noticed my face and what it was saying.

"Oh okay. I think you don't understand anything I say"

I nod my head. Then he took me towards a large computer. He didn't mutter any words nor did he enter any password. Automatically, the hologram projector Ai computer opens and it shows many weird pictures of universes with different numbers on that folder. Like 1,2,3,4 etc.

"Are these parallel universes you are observing? I mean I know multiverse theory about how there can be multiple of universes can coexist with each other with ever expanding thing"

He laughed a little bit.

"Step back three times towards the northeast direction," he told me.

I did as he told me.

Suddenly, an explosion happened in the place and it also blew me up too. If I have to describe the feeling then it feels like shit. Due to the explosion impact which spread up wild air towards the shockwaves of that blast, I flew up. I can't hear anything due to sonic disturbance which causes my ears to not be able to do a music concert.

Only thing I heard before blank out was…"Destruction of 7,859 is coming. Timeline disturb"
