I'm going to the city

Due to the fall of the Metin, the whole world became in chaos and many deaths after its passage. My family was forced to be in the western limit of the Chunjo Kingdom, only 2 days away from the great city Joan, our family missions varied, since some went where Captain Yao-Gang gave the missions scheduled by the same Emperor Yaong-Young, I was already going for 18 years in only a few months and since I wanted to hurry the months I was impatient for my coming of age, while my mother sighed a beautiful dragon shaman looks at me attentively and says

Mother: You do not have to worry about my light, you just have to be calm. -smile-

It was something easy to say and not to do. My older brothers went and came back when they could from their missions and always said how happy they were with their skills or weapons. While I was training with my blades, my older brother Dong was a man in his 40s, tall with a stocky body, black eyes, short light brown hair and white tanned skin, dressed in a dark and light gray outfit, with his shirt attached to a light gray body and tights on his black arms, laughing at my comment and saying aloud

A little further from home sitting in my favorite tree, a peach tree, I let the fresh breeze take away my desire to want missions, I decided to think about other things, but my thoughts were interrupted after a few minutes by my other brothers Wei and Yue who were returning from a mission, Wei is 36 years old has a beautiful girl as a couple called Arini, according to him is his soul mate, Wei is 1.68 to be a boy he is a little short, his hair is dark brown and wavy and his eyes are light brown almost honey color, Yue is 1.75 his skin is light white, his hair is black straight and a little long, he is 30 years old, his resemblance to our father is identical, in fact mom says that Yue is like seeing dad at 30 years old. We are a family where there are ninjas and dragon shamans, Dong is a ninja archer, Wei is the only light shaman, Yue is a dragon shaman just like mom and I am more inclined to be a ninja assassin just like dad.

After my brothers called me and waited for me, I asked them to tell me about their missions, whether they went alone or as a team, since I wanted to know even the smallest details about their fights and acquired skills. Since in each mission you obtained more skill and improvements in either costumes or weapons when they enchanted the weapons of the shamans these gave off beautiful tones of magic that made them shine and made them lighter and that for me was great. When I got home and told the whole family about the mission while we were having dinner, I asked myself more questions, like, what would those worlds be like, how big were they?.

After dinner Dong had to go home, so mom gave him a container to take the candy he had made in the afternoon for the kids and his wife, Wei for her part went to her bedroom to clean her weapons and Yue for her part invited me to a little practice, of course I agreed not only to test my skill level but also to see her new spells.

After 3 hours Yue decided to end the practice and go to sleep, according to him I had to talk to the Captain because I would see if he would accept the request of a group of 4 and what would be the steps to follow, since partly Yue was a little tired of just walking or running and he already wanted to have his own horse and not a borrowed one, that seemed great to me but out of pity I don't think I could go see him, but I still wished him luck, although he couldn't stop laughing since I still with his auras looked like a walking flashlight and a little bit angry I told him

Me: that's your fault Yue, take off my auras -uncomfortable-

Yue: -try to control his laughter and even though it was hard for him to say- Forgive me little sister, but I can't do that... since... *laughs* ...that will go away in about 20 minutes, I *laughs*.

That attack of laughter somehow made me uncomfortable but I understood that I had to wait. Before I could say another word, Yue was saying goodbye to me with her hand as she climbed up a rock where she had left her house shoes and opened the sliding door to her bedroom.

While I was holding on to my anger I said to myself 'well Katsumi understand, you have had a long and busy day' as I sighed I saw the good side of the auras and decided to practice my skills a little more, because I was so focused on my training I had forgotten that I promised myself only 20 more minutes of training while I had the aura and protection, when I realized this I assumed it was more than late, so I decided to continue with the practice tomorrow morning. When I managed to wake up I heard a noise of horses and while I was taking off the laziness of sleeping, I got up from bed and fixed it, then I fixed my witch hair just raised and I decided to dress in my training clothes, when I rolled the sliding door of my room I saw how Yue happily told me

Yue: very good morning Kat, from what I see yesterday you were awake, right?.

Me: -I couldn't help but laugh at your nerves and say something embarrassing- I'm sorry Yue, that wasn't my intention.

He just laughs a little and accompanies me to the dining room, while I greet everyone in general with a "good morning to everyone" my father Syoran hugs me strongly and says very animated

Father: if you had gotten up 20 minutes earlier, you could have talked to the Captain's messenger, who has come to deliver this letter to you. -As he released me from his bear hug, he extended his hand and handed me a scroll-

I extended my hand somewhat trembling with emotion, in part I felt as if I were still sleeping, as I took the scroll and sat on the chair by the table my brothers only smiled until my brother Wei said

I: -suttered a little and said still with nerves- I know, have some calm Wei.

I tried to calm my nerves and while taking a deep breath I opened it calmly and read it 'Miss Katsumi, congratulations on coming of age, you are requested to go to Colonel Lin-Yang who will take you to the Captain and from there you will have to go to the registry to receive orders', while my eyes lit up with such emotion, I could only stand up and say

Me: they already ask me to go to the Captain.

My cheerful and happy father comments: Congratulations my little light, you see you just had to be calm.

Wei and Yue say in unison: that's good, then ... We'll go together?.

Happy I nodded and gave them the scroll while I went to my room and made a small suitcase for my weapons and changed my black clothes to an aquamarine color, I arranged my hair a little short and wavy separating it in 2 and tied to a ponytail and 2 Chinese sticks in case I wanted to use them.

The good thing about the letter was that it did not indicate the time of arrival where I had to go with the Colonel and then to the Captain, so we could have a calm breakfast and go together calmly to a nearby stable where they would take us to the big city Joan. My brothers talked to me about how everything was there, like landscapes, houses, the blacksmith, although in a curious way their comments were neutral because sometimes he did not do his job well, that was curious to me, they told me about their mission teams, where sometimes they joined forces with the Suras, that amazed me a lot because I wanted my own group, Yue explained to me that there are 2 types of groups, the Guild and the missions; Although to me they both sounded interesting, but when I asked them about my record Wei would only say "you'll see, don't worry" and that 'don't worry' really didn't help me at all.

In total they took us 2 wagons to the city, Yue and Wei promised to wait for me until they talked to the Colonel and the Captain, since they wanted to show me where I would stay and some basic things. In fact, when I arrived, the Colonel was waiting for me and after a formal greeting he guided me to the Captain and more formal greetings, the Captain explained to me the basics of each mission I should report to him until I noticed that I could manage on my own, he guided me to the registry and asked me to fill out a scroll with my data and essential things, until a small detail called my attention 'nickname', I decided to consult in the office for guidance but the boy was so busy that I did not pay attention, while deciding to wait a Sura came to me and with a voice of half laughter and half cuts told me

Sura: he is always busy and it is a bit difficult to get his attention, if you need help I can help you as I am level 5.

My gesture must have been very funny because the Sura did not stop laughing, that made me detail it more, he was a taller boy than me, I calculated his 1.73, his skin was white something pale, his hair was white as the snow and his eyes a honey color so clear that they seemed yellow, one of his hands was different like the one of a demon, clear it was the first time that I saw a Sura for that reason my slight ignorance.

After laughing for a while he introduced himself as Randoxd, when he was going to ask about that name he smiled and said

Randoxd: that's my nickname, that's what many here call me.

When he asked my name I thought I was giving him the real one when he told me

Randoxd: we keep the real names for people closer to us, as a way to protect ourselves.

Even though I didn't fully understand it, I nodded and thought about which name I could use, I remembered my father who I once told him Syoran by mistake of my mother, since that's his nickname, even though he knows that when I get angry I say his real name, so I decided to introduce myself as "Kaluz12" so that's what I did, I extended my hand and said

Me: nice to meet you Randoxd, my name is Kaluz12.

I said it a little low in case someone copied my same nickname, this one just smiles and says for my peace of mind "no one will steal it from you once said" I completed that one field that was missing and it seemed partly right that we used nicknames and not our real names. After saying goodbye to the Sura I approached the registration boy and waited like everyone else for him to attend to me, that seemed like chaos since we were many new to the city, but with a little order everything was managed to speed up in a somewhat quick manner, when I handed him my papers I asked myself what else I stood out in and with much pride I said

Me: I am a ninja.

This astonished man pauses slightly and asks again

Record boy: Are you an archer?.

I shook my head and showed him my daggers, after a nervous laugh he apologized and guided me to where they search all the ninja assassins, I found it curious but I accepted.

From there I went to the Captain and while he was congratulating me for such ability he gave me a scroll with a mission without time limit, from there I went to my brothers and we did some sightseeing, I met the famous blacksmith who is nicknamed 'Don destructor' because instead of fixing it he leaves it in pieces, and many are forced to buy the same weapons twice, and while they watch as a warrior in shining armor was claimed for destroying a great sword that was about to go up to +9, clearly I didn't understand about the +9 but I had a vague idea of the matter. My brothers took me to the vendor and while I was looking at all the clothes and choosing a beautiful one Yue stops me and says

When the salesman saw my gesture he could only laugh and apologize at the same time, but my gesture was 'in what language do you speak to me'.

Wei: here there are rules with clothes, it is true that they are beautiful, but if an enemy sees you in those clothes he will kill you without hesitation.

I: -while sighing something sad I said- then... I will never wear it?.

Yue: -smile and deny with your head and after a sigh says- for now no, but if you would use it.

I: -those words encouraged me so much that I mischievously told the salesman- I reserved it for myself.

Without being able to stand all laugh and Wei asks me to put on my proper clothes, without hesitation I accepted and I dressed a beautiful blue suit, it was comfortable and although I had some accessories too heavy, I could accommodate my daggers well, I wanted to improve them but with the reputation of the blacksmith I doubted, so I decided to wait a little more and then take a chance.

We said goodbye to Wei because his group went to look for him for the next mission, he told us that he would be in the desert fighting with a giant turtle, and I will not deny that it was very hard for me to imagine it, I arrived at the inn with Yue and there a beautiful girl was waiting for him, I had the impression that she was a shaman of light, but I did not get to see her fan, being close to her I noticed how she looked away a little and then she saw us to greet us in a very formal way, Yue was animated and very happy and said

Yue: Hi Ceresita, I want to introduce you to my sister.

I look at him animated and I say to my 'aha, I caught you brother', while smiling I saw Cerecita and while I extended my hand I said

Me: it's a pleasure to meet you Cerecita, my name is Kaluz12.

Yue, upon hearing such a nickname, could only smile and while she was shaking her head, the shaman came closer in a whisper and said "it's a tender nickname".

So after a little while I went up the stairs until I found my room and opened the door, it was a cozy room, living room, bathroom, and dining area but without a kitchen, the windows were a little big and they were sliding, so there I had no problem, when I saw everything I decided to read the scroll with the mission calmly and detail the drawing of my objective, they were some wild dogs, these dogs had been infected and were attacking the villagers, as I detailed there were already 2 dead from these attacks and therefore they had been qualified as a threat and very dangerous; I found it curious that these dogs could pose a threat, so I decided to investigate a little more before doing anything.

When I left my room I found a beautiful warrior who, not noticing my presence, spoke aloud about her mission and as a matter of destiny it was the same mission as mine, so I decided to interrupt her and ask her if she knew anything else about it. She introduced herself as Lucerito and explained to me that before those dogs lived here in the city and many of the villagers were their owners.

Although due to a fall from a metin near the town the dogs were attracted to the metin and with only touching that evil aura their change would have been slow if they had been removed, but being close to a metin for a long time their transformation is faster, they no longer recognize their owners, we decided to approach one of them little by little and see their reaction, it was incredible that without being very close they detected you immediately, I was 18 paces away from them and Lucerito was 25 paces away and they wanted to bite us both, Lucerito's attacks made me move away quickly and we could between them attack them and get the evidence to prove that we had finished with them, the other small group that were with them had fled but we knew that it wouldn't be for long, so we had to quickly warn the others with the same mission and be all alert.

The first to respond was a boy named Ragnarock, who was on the south side of town and agreed to a meeting, the 3 of us agreed to watch the entrances in case we saw the dogs. We were at it for a few days and from there we decided to exchange contact in case we needed help, we created a group little by little, and when we agreed on missions one was the bait, and the others attacked, although sometimes we were 2 of bait and we covered our backs.
