Chapter 11

Kakashi looks at Orochimaru who currently has a very terrifying smile. That he knows very well. The smile that every sensei gives before giving you hell. He should know he did it to his students many times.

"Kakashi your test today will be a spar with me. I will purely use taijutsu but you can use anything you want" Orochimaru states. Kakashi looks at Orochimaru and nods. He understood that he couldn't hide much from Orochimaru. Orochimaru has a good instinct and brains to know if he holds backs. Thankfully he is still not completely used to being in a child's body.

"Let's start then" Orochimaru orders Kakashi. Kakashi nods and looks at Orochimaru. Orochimaru hasn't moved a bit waiting for him to make a move.

"Lightning clone technique" states Kakashi as he performs the hand signs. They aren't as quick as he once was. However, it's faster than most. Orochimaru looks at Kakashi impressed with his hand sign speed. Two clones appear before Kakashi and he sends them to attack Orochimaru. Kakashi quickly uses the body flicker technique to go behind Orochimaru.

"Lightning Release: lighting bolt technique," Kakashi says. It's a short bolt of lightning appears in Kakashi hand directed at Orochimaru back. Orochimaru quickly takes care of the clones with a simple sweep kick. Orochimaru jolts forward and turns to kick Kakashi. Kakashi quickly dodges and takes out a kunai to throw at Orochimaru. He then follows with multiple shurikens.

"Interesting" Orochimaru says amused as he dodges each one fairly easily even when Kakashi made it tricky to do so. Orochimaru heads to Kakashi to attack him. Orochimaru swings at Kakashi. Kakashi wanted to use the body replacement technique however Orochimaru's speed is not a joke even when he isn't taking him seriously. Kakashi uses his hand to block to not be hit directly in the face. He gets sent flying back by a simple swing from Orochimaru. He frowns but stands and uses body flicker once more to get near Orochimaru. He tries to pierce Orochimaru with a tanto. Orochimaru is quick to dodge Kakashi frowns not being able to land a hit. He decided to stay close quarter and try to use his small stature to his advantage.

"You are quite talented with a tanto," Orochimaru says. As he sees Kakashi use different tanto techniques against him. If Kakashi was faster he'd be able to land a hit. Orochimaru decided to throw a punch again but this time Kakashi ducks and jolts forward and use his tanto. Aiming for Orochimaru's stomach, Orochimaru quickly uses his leg to repel himself back. The tanto was able to make a hole in his shirt. Orochimaru smiles and kicks Kakashi back. Orochimaru looks at the kid who looks that he has been through hell.

"We can stop here Kakashi" Orochimaru states. Kakashi looks at him with an expecting look.

"How did I do? Do I pass your expectations I would even take a barely" Kakashi asks channeling his inner child. He wanted Orochimaru to see him as family. If needed to be annoying and bother him until he accepts him. He will do so! He will channel his inner Naruto if need be.

"Your hand seal is impressive for your age. They are at a level of an above-average chunin not jonin yet but close. Your chakra reserves are low but that's expected for your age. They lasted long cause of your impressive control over your chakra. Im guessing you can walk on water as well now. I would say what you lack is stamina and your speed for now. You should also work on your chakra reserves" Orochimaru states. He couldn't help but see himself in Kakashi. He wishes that Kakashi won't have to go through what he went through. He doesn't want Kakashi to become like himself a monster. Maybe that's why he decided to tell Sakumo. So Kakashi didn't have to lose his father like he lost his parents.

"Yes, but did I meet your expectations. Jiraiya said if I didn't meet them you would kick me out" Kakashi asks with a worried look.

"You passed, you met my expectations" Orochimaru answers looking directly at Kakashi. Kakashi gives him a Naruto smile.

"That's good" Kakashi answer satisfied as he drops to sit down tiredly. Orochimaru couldn't help but let out a chuckle of pure amusement.

"Sakumo-san you can come out now. I didn't think you would come. Didn't you have a mission" Orochimaru asks as he looks at Sakumo direction.

"Got postponed! I was gonna inform you, that I'll be watching but when I arrived you were already sparring" Sakumo sheepishly says. Orochimaru sighs but nods.

"Since you here, you can take your son home," Orochimaru says. Sakumo smiles and nods in agreement.

"Kakashi you did great! Lunch is waiting at home!" Sakumo cheerfully says as he goes to pick up his son to carry him home.

"Thank you," Kakashi says tiredly. He then turns to Orochimaru. "Orochimaru-sensei you should come and eat with us"

"Yeah, Orochimaru-san come on join us!" Sakumo quickly follows his son's example. Orochimaru looks at the father and son. He was going to say no but Kakashi looked at him with an expecting look.

"Fine" Orochimaru sighs.

"If we bump into Jiraiya we can invite him too!" Sakumo says. Orochimaru is already regretting his choice to come.
