Hayate and Luna returned to the south gate, where they entered the Profound Demon City. They found Yun Canghai there with a sad look on his face. The old demon seemed to have gone older by a few years.

"Why the long face, Senior?" Hayate asked naturally.

He assumed the elder demon got horrible news about his family, considering Yun Canghai's excited look half an hour ago. Or maybe more than that because Luna's expression flickered with a strange light.

Yun Canghai sighed and replied, "I've been gone for more than 100 years. My Yun family has declined to the miserable point because we have failed to retrieve the Demon Emperor and lost two legendary artifacts."

"Demon Emperor's Seal and Mirror of Samsara?" Hayate said, to which the elder demon responded with a nod.

"My Yun Family is on the verge of losing its position in the Twelve Guardian Family. How could they?! I was one of the most powerful people one hundred years ago. My loyalty toward the Demon Emperor is unquestionable, yet they treat my family like this?" Yun Canghai's chest filled with anger. The Demon Emperor's seal in his hand felt heavier now.

"The late Demon Emperor is my friend. We are so close, so close to the point he could entrust the Demon Emperor's Seal to me. He even gave me the "Demon King." title, which was only lower than him." He gritted his teeth so hard that blood started to flow from his mouth.

"Duke Ming... That piece of shit. He's the person who told the Demon Emperor to go through that spatial tunnel to the Profound Sky Continent."

Hayate tapped Yun Canghai's shoulder and flowed light energy to calm him down. "Calm down, senior." He commented while looking at the crowd, who literally were terrified by the elder demon's aura.

Yun Canghai hasn't recovered his strength, but the 6th stage of Sovereign Profound Realm is not simple for everyone in the Profound Demon City. His aura alone sent terror, making people stares at them in fear.

The Profound Demon City's guards are coming toward them with a wary expression. And Hayate teleported them away from this place. He doesn't want to bother those people at the moment.

That's until three demons caught them from Profound Demon City. These people are masters of craftsmanship from the city.

"Yun Canghai, I've told you to control your anger!" A demon with a bat-like wing yelled at Yun Canghai. "Now you have created chaos in the city. Some people thought they were under attack by a powerful Profound Beast."

There is a beautiful woman on the side. She is wearing a tight robe with an apron, releasing a somewhat sweet aroma. "Rong, it's your fault to smack Senior Canghai with bad news when you see him alive." She inhaled a cigar and puffed out smoke.

On the side, Hayate stared at them with a somewhat surprised look. Even though he only utilized short-distance teleportation from the Profound Demon City, which was around 1-2 kilometers away. That's quite a distance, Yet These people somehow can catch them up in just a few seconds.

"They are?" Hayate asked naturally while moving his gaze to Yun Canghai.

Yun Canghai sighed in frustration and replied, "They are my underlings from 200 years ago. That annoying bat is Rong Rong, while this wicked lass is Liu Mei. And lastly, Shui Cun."

"These three are master craftsmen of Illusory Demon Realm. The youngest at that."

"Objection!" Liu Mei frowned at Yun Canghai. "Who did you call wicked lass! This lady grew into an adult one hundred and sixty-nine years ago."

Shui Cun coughed and whispered, "Well, He's not wrong. You tricked a bunch of nobles into buying your trash inventions."

"Give me 15% of your total sale." Luna grinned at her.

"What a greedy girl. I like you!" A grin also appeared on Liu Mei's face.

Hayate smiled inside because those future customers would get their money drowned by these two scammers. He shook his head lightly and felt a stare on his thigh.

"You, where did you get those artifacts?" Rong Rong dashed toward Hayate and tried to grab twin guns on his thighs.

The bat demon was launched away and landed on the ground with a shocked expression. Rong Rong blinked for a moment and somehow fell into this situation. It led to a heavy atmosphere in the area, though Luna and Liu Mei snickered softly at Rong Rong.

'So fast?!' Shui Cun stared at Hayate solemnly. This young man kicked Rong Rong at such a fast speed, leaving only an afterimage. His leg seemed to have not moved at all.

Not to mention Rong Rong was from the Demonic Bat race, known for their solid physical nature. He is also at peak Tyrant Profound Realm.

Hayate curved his lips under his hood and said, "Sorry, but I don't like when strangers come into my comfort zone. I kicked him out of instinct."

Rong Rong felt a painful sting on his chin and groaned, "Uugh, my bad. I just haven't seen such unique artifacts. What are those exactly?"

A shout suddenly echoed in the area. The horned demon from the Profound Demon City was approaching Hayate and others with a group of people. Among them was a Shadow Demon kid that pickpocketed Hayate's spatial ring a few minutes ago.

"You stole from them?" Yun Canghai stared at his granddaughter in disbelief.

Luna stuck out her tongue adorably and declared, "Hehe~! I don't steal. I'm just taking something without permission."

"They what?" Yun Canghai released purple lightning from his body. His expression darkened.

Rong Rong, Liu Mei, and Shui Cun also become serious when hearing Luna's words. Recently, a group called Demonic Path appeared and robbed graves across the southern area of the Illusory Demon Realm. This annoying group has been a headache to Profound Demon City for months.

A white-haired man walked in front of the Demonic Path's group with a menacing aura of Sky Profound Realm, which didn't even tickle Hayate and his companions.

"You! Hand that ring over now." He yelled at Luna, who hid behind Yun Canghai with a smirk on her face.

Another person came out of the group and shouted, "Oy, Old man. Hand that kid to me, and I won't kill your old life."

Hayate glanced at Rong Rong and asked, "You're curious about my guns, right?"

Rong Rong didn't know what a gun was, but he still nodded curiously. He wanted to witness these weird-looking artifacts' function. From the first glance, he could see so many complex arrays within the body of the artifacts.

Feeling the intention of Hayate's action, Yun Canghai crossed his arms and said, "Don't kill all of them. I wanted that white-haired kid for tor- I mean interrogation."

"Since when did you become so soft?" Liu Mei scowled at Yun Canghai's statement. Even though they indeed have to interrogate some people from the Demonic Path.

"Hehe, I'm his granddaughter~!" Luna declared while puffing her chest proudly.

"Wait, what?" Shui Cun was dumbfounded this time. He was sure Yun Canghai's son and daughter-in-law didn't have other children besides the current young patriarch.

He stared at Luna weirdly, only to fall into her magical whispers. "Big brother~! What do you think about me?" She tilted her head cutely.

"C-Cute." Like an arrow piercing his heart, Shui Cun felt his suspicion replaced by Luna's cuteness.

Hayate ignored them and pulled Ebony from its holsters, aiming the gun at Demonic Path's group. With a simple pull of the trigger, everyone could see white light escape the barrel and travel across the field.

A deafening shockwave echoed in the area.

'What a recoil.' Rong Rong thought while staring at Hayate. 'Even my body can't handle such an impact easily.'

The white light arrived at the Demonic Path's group and scattered into sparky bits.

Everyone was staring at Hayate with fear in their eyes. This mysterious young man wiped half of the Demonic Path's group with his weird-looking artifact.

Unknown to them, Hayate exclusively killed people with negative karma through his God's Eyes. After reviving Manifestation God's formless throne, he gained the visual power to see the karma of dead and living creatures. A hollowed sun mark shone dimly on his left eye.

Hayate teleported the raw Kaiju Cores under a speck of dust he created, placing them inside his spatial ring skillfully. He could use them later for creating Chimera Kaiju.

Was killing these people with negative karma justified? No, but by doing so, Hayate gained positive karma from Primal Chaos.

Killing is killing, no matter what the intention behind it.

"M-Monster." The Shadow Demon Kid muttered.

Hayate holstered Ebony and replied, "Yes, I am a monster."
