Muzan's shadowy helmet clattered against his carapace, creating this eerie metallic sound. The crimson eyes released light trails as they glared at Yun Canghai.

Without warning or anything, Muzan just disappeared from Yun Canghai's vision. All the middle-aged man called Demonic King could see was Yu Long's annoying smugness.

Yun Canghai felt a sudden sharpness in his neck and ducked. His left hand flickered with cyan light as he slammed the air forcibly.

The sound of metal clashing metal echoed in the area.

Yun Canghai frowned, and he escaped from his current predicament with thunderous movement. Several afterimages made of lightning were left behind as if he were trying to confuse Muzan.

He landed several meters away and saw the 8 ft monster standing with his right blade-like insect hand stabbed to the ground where he used to stand.

'Shit, this guy is a monster.' Yun Canghai thought.

He couldn't help but wonder what kind of creature this fellow was. He has never heard of or found something like this in the Illusory Demon Realm.

Muzan cracked his neck and glanced at Yun Canghai.

"What? Never expected an old man like me to be that swift?" Yun Canghai questioned with a smile.

To answer Yun Canghai's question, Muzan suddenly appeared before him and punched his guts. The Kaiju were merciless as Yun Canghai got sent flying like a broken kite with several internal organs damaged.

Yun Canghai suppressed his internal organ damage and used his Yun Family's profound art.

A purple thundercloud gathered around Yun Canghai's body, making him look like a master of the storm. He kicked the ground and used Profound Handle meticulously, turning the cyan substances into countless sharp daggers.

Muzan grabbed his right arm and pulled it off, transforming it into a bloody long sword with a sharp red edge. A new arm replaced the old, and the Kaiju gained a weapon.

They clashed fiercely, causing destruction here and there.

Yu Long witnessed the true power of Sovereign Profound Realm Expert outside his faction for the first time. He was fascinated by Yun Canghai's quick reaction and skillful manipulation of profound energy.

One must remember that Yun Canghai just left his suppression, which means he has yet to reach his peak performance. He's rusty after being trapped for one hundred years or more.

Yun Canghai narrowed his eyes, but Muzan's next move stunned him.

Muzan stabbed the long sword into the ground and caused an intense earthquake.

Crack!

"You gotta be kidding me." Yun Canghai watched the ground below him glow red. He could feel an unknown energy about to burst out and stab him in the crotch if he didn't dodge.

BOOM!

The ground was 'quickly' covered with red spikes.

To Muzan and Yu Long's surprise, Yun Canghai survived by releasing an explosive speed out of nowhere.

Yun Canghai brushed the ground with his heel and successfully dodged Muzan's area-on-effect attack.

'My Lord.' Muzan's calm voice suddenly brushed Yu Long's mind.

'May I use 10% of my power? I've never found such an impressive punching bag.'

Hearing the Kaiju's request, Yu Long's mouth couldn't help but form a wry smile. When he made Muzan, he imagined a force of nature to be reckoned with.

However, the name of Scorpion-tailed Demon King isn't for nothing.

Muzan becomes stronger and stronger under the Primordial Energy's baptism, causing him to seal his own power. If he didn't do so, his body would constantly transform to accommodate more strength.

Among Yu Long's Kaiju, only Woby(Great Emperor Slime), Borne(Crimson Duke of Midnight), and Muzan(Scorpion-tailed Demon King) have Cell Transformation Ability. Their cell is too active.

Yun Canghai watched a bloody red light travel in the air. He wanted to dodge, but his body couldn't move.

Yun Canghai coughed a mouthful of blood and kneeled on the ground. He gazed at Muzan in shock and uttered, "How?"

"Your strength jumped too much in a short time."

Muzan didn't answer and walked toward Yun Canghai.

Yun Canghai grimaced and looked back at Yu Long, seeing him wave his hand at him. He wanted to curse at the golden-eyed but knew the situation didn't allow him to.

He stood up with difficulty and conjured a lightning blade with his Profound Art and energy.

He lifted his lightning blade and said, "Yun Family's power shall not get tarnished!"

Yun Canghai initiated the first attack and became more aggressive in his approach.

Muzan responded by waving his demonic sword, creating a mirage that surpassed the speed of sound.

Yu Long observed the fight with great interest as both sides showed no sign of stopping.

Minutes after minutes, Yun Canghai's swordplay always exploded with a tyrannical lightning attribute, and Muzan responded to everything with his eerie demonic sword.

A lump of lightning-profound energy amassed on Yu Canghai's body and exploded upon his slash, causing lightning and thunder pythons to appear.

Muzan was surprised, seeing the purple-colored pythons pounce on him.

However, the Kaiju quickly reacted and stomped the ground. Rubbles flew up and clashed with the lightning and thunder pythons.

They retreated, allowing both sides to take a breather.

Well, it was more like Yun Canghai, who needed a breather. His breathing is not as calm as before, probably due to excessive usage of Profound Handle and energy exhaustion.

Yun Canghai's hand trembled as he gripped the handle of the lightning sword tightly, "You still haven't said anything to me, you bastard."

Muzan looked down on Yun Canghai as if saying he wasn't worthy.

Yun Canghai's mouth twitched upon seeing this response. "We will see about that." His skinny body was 'thoroughly' covered with intense lightning immediately.

Muzan also placed his demonic sword on the ground and was ready to launch his final attack.

Yun Canghai swung his lightning sword and caused massive destruction on the land before him. The sound of a beast's roar permeated the sealed formation.

Muzan responded with a gentle but swift strike. His demonic sword slashed through the air and crushed Yun Canghai's sword.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!

Yun Canghai got blown away, crashing into the place he was 'originally' bound to. He looked up and saw Muzan far away, noticing his demonic sword was crumbling because of his lightning force.

"Hahaha, fuck you!" He said while spewing some blood.

After that, Yun Canghai fainted.

Yu Long poked Yun Canghai with a random stick he picked on the way here and confirmed the middle-aged man hadn't died. He collected some blood samples before patching his injuries and healing him up.

He glanced at Muzan and asked, "What's the matter?"

Muzan stared at his empty hand and mumbled, "Nothing."

"My lord, what do you think of this skeleton fellow?"

"He's strong for a man of his era but not strong enough." Yu Long answered honestly.

"I thought so as well." Muzan glanced at Yun Canghai. "Heal your wound, be stronger. After that, we will spar again."

"My lord, I will pardon myself."

After saying that, Muzan entered Yu Long's inner world and left him alone with the dying Yun Canghai.

Yu Long shook his head gently and commented, "It seemed Muzan found you interesting, old man. Your fate won't be as bleak as the original story."

"Well, you still have your own use. Live well because I want to get my hand on the Illusory Demon Realm." He healed Yun Canghai's new and old wounds, recovering his dying vitality.

"Ah, also... Here are some souvenirs." He placed down some pills near Yun Canghai. "We will meet again tomorrow night."

He bound Yun Canghai's limbs back to chained-bangle and modified the Heaven's Might Soul Suppressing Formation here and there so he wouldn't be awake in a terrible condition.

Checking some errors, Yu Long jumped to the top and left the formation.

"Yume, you can return now." He placed his arm behind his head and whistled, returning to his courtyard casually.

Well, that was an impressive fight.
