Yu Long, Yuyan, Lily, and Feng Xue'er accelerated to the Divine Phoenix City. They are a few hundred meters away from the location but could already see black clouds from the burning city. 

The feeling of scorched air and death assaulted them. 

Yu Long, Yuyan, and Lily didn't react much to this because they are used to death. But they couldn't say the same for the sheltered Feng Xue'er. 

Feng Xue'er trembled at such a sight and covered her mouth, "No, those people..." 

"Master." Yuyan gazed at Yu Long. She wanted him to comfort Feng Xue'er. 

Yu Long sighed and patted Feng Xue'er on the back, transferring a bit of his Light Energy to her. "Xue'er, hear me out."

"What do you think of killing? Is it bad? Of course, it's bad, right?" 

"But the world doesn't revolve around you, especially when you're weak." 

"That's why you must cultivate your strength and become strong enough to change the world."

"I..." Feng Xue'er bit her lips. She was confident, but seeing the incoming disaster made her realize something. 

Yu Long is right. 

Even her teacher has taught her something similar in the past. 

But Feng Xue'er is ultimately young. She wasn't born a killer. She's a princess of the prestigious Divine Phoenix Empire. 

Feng Xue'er clenched her hand and regained some confidence, "Xue'er understands. Let's hurry up, Big Brother. Xue'er wouldn't let those innocent people die." 

"Let's go." Yunlong gave her a nod. 

With that, they flew even faster. 

Feng Xue'er burst out with extreme as fiery phoenix wings appeared on her back. She was nervous inside, but Yu Long's words helped a lot. 

They arrived at the Divine Phoenix City and saw a massive horde of Profound Beasts breaching from the other side of the city. 

Cries, wails, and explosions reverberated. 

If they were 'normal' Profound Beasts, they wouldn't pose a threat to Yu Long and others. However, Pandora has used her ability and genetically modified these Profound Beasts to be more aggressive and annoyingly hard to kill.

Yu Long doesn't need to mention their strength because each Profound Beast is 'naturally' capped at the peak of the Sovereign Profound Realm. No matter how strong Pandora's ability is, she couldn't modify these Profound Beasts to Divine Realm that fast.

"Uh, young master. Another horde is approaching from the right." Lily suddenly warned. 

"On the left too..." Yuyan squinted her eyes. 

"..." Feng Xue'er grimly watched these hordes. 

Yu Long calmly watched the hordes and mumbled, "Pandora wanted to overwhelm me with numbers, huh? Not a new thing, but giving me annoyance like this probably tests me." 

"Big Brother, the breached wall..." Feng Xue'er called him out. 

"Yuyan, go!" Yu Long immediately ordered as he couldn't make a move personally. 

Yuyan transformed into a burst of green particles and arrived above the breached wall. She extended her fair hand and said, "I can't look shabby before my disciple."

A phoenix's cry echoed in the sky as a green phoenix made of spiritual flame descent. 

BOOM!

The green phoenix killed the Profound Beast that had breached the Divine Phoenix City's wall.

At the same time, Yuyan quickly sealed the wall around the city with her authority over Earth Elements, a new ability the original Phoenix God shouldn't had as Yu Long granted it to her. 

BOOM!

Crack!

Green crystals erupted from the ground and surrounded the city. 

Two incoming hordes of Profound Beasts crashed into the fortified walls, and they released a blood-curdling roar because Yuyan didn't just make an ordinary wall. These walls possessed [Earth Phoenix Aspect] that petrified and [True Phoenix Aspect] that burned targets upon contact.

Yuyan might act silly around her dear master, but that doesn't mean she is weak. She's still one of the earliest Kaiju Yu Long made after reincarnating into this world. 

Yuyan's power is no less than Zilong's. 

"Lily, help them." Yu Long ordered Lily this time because she had healing prowess like him. Lily didn't need Yu Long's order as she had reached the nearest injured person. 

Yu Long looked around and frowned because he couldn't sense Pandora's presence. He looked down at the Profound Beasts and used [Kaiju Maker] to extract their memories. 

After passing through countless memories, Yu Long saw a female-shaped green flame atop a mountain peak. "Tsk, It's not even her real body." He couldn't help but click his tongue in annoyance. 

Pandora has three forms, which she can use freely. 

The green flame form was none other than her Spectral Form. 

In Spectral Form, Pandora could possess one's body and make it hers. 

Of course, such an ability comes with a catch. The one possessed is usually a woman with an unstable mind yet has firm determination. 

Recalling Xuanyuan Yufeng's sudden appearance in the Phoenix Perching Valley, Yu Long guessed Pandora had influenced the Ex-Heavenly Sword Villa's mistress. 

But something about this whole scenario is weird. 

Yu Long was sure Pandora should be around the Divine Phoenix City as she didn't possess Xuanyuan Yufeng's body. 

"Where are you, Pandora..." Yu Long snapped his finger, and the space around him warped rapidly. 

Feng Xue'er was puzzled by Yu Long's action. She took a few steps back and watched the fabric of space tamed under Yu Long's control. 

Several swirls appeared in the sky, and Feng Xue'er caught a glimpse of a green fire spark. 

"Big Brother, there are fire sparks in that swirl!" She pointed at the particular swirl in the sky. 

Yu Long smacked his hand without further ado and sent a void blade that could sever even higher space. It's the extremity of [Darkness Aspect] from the [Art of Ghost].

BOOM!

A green spark escaped before the void blade arrived and destroyed the spatial swirl. But Yu Long still got it.

"Uugh!" A humanoid flame groaned and hovered in the air with a painful look. 

Yu Long smiled, "Finally, you're out of your turtle shell." 

"Why did you hide and not greet me, Pandora?" 

Pandora pouted at Yu Long and grumbled, "So mean." 

"You're a meanie, master~!" 

"I'm just having fun and decided to play hide and seek a little. But looks, you cut me here!" She complained while showing a limbless left shoulder.

"Whatever. Care to tell me the purpose of causing this much chaos?" Yu Long snorted indifferently. 

"What do you mean? Of course, for fun~!" Pandora tilted her head for a moment and flashed a grin at him. 

"For fun..." Feng Xue'er was stunned. 

She stared at the green flame lady in horror. 

Pandora noticed Feng Xue'er and commented, "Oh? You're my master's new girl. Not bad, not bad, though you're not as cute/beautiful as his former companions." 

"Your name is... Feng Xue'er, right? I have to say, your family's Phoenix God's DNA is very fun to modify." 

"I have so much fun tinkering with your brothers." 

"My brothers... What have you done to them!" Feng Xue'er cried out. She felt deep dread in her heart. 

Pandora giggled and replied honestly, "Hehe, those horny dogs. Well, they are annoying..."

"So I turned them into real dogs..." 

"Doggy, doggy, come~!" She clapped her hand excitedly. 

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!

Divine Phoenix Royal Palace.

Several cries echoed inside the palace, and giant human-headed dogs suddenly appeared, razzing the surrounding buildings. 

ROOOOOOOOOARR!! 

The giant human-headed dogs rampaged throughout the palace, destroying and devouring anything on their sight.

"B-Brothers,,," Feng Xue'er paled at this horrifying sight. 

Despair began to swallow her slowly.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
