47 Hotel and Blacksmith Shop

--- Chapter 46 ---

Silver Moon Hotel is a tall building that overshadows some parts of Silver Lake City. Built with the third 'most powerful' stone called the 'Volcanic Sunrock' in the Blue Wind Empire's territory, the entire building is 'highly' resistant to environmental conditions. It also gave the exterior a nice yellowish-white color.

On the other hand, the interior is 'thoroughly' coated with melted Oceanic Blue Grains, which gives a textured dark blue color. Several mahogany wood frames were 'similarly' used to make the place grander than ever.

Crystal lamps are hanging on the wall, giving off soft white lights.

Several arts and furniture were 'correspondingly' placed in an orderly manner beneath the lamp, highlighting their value.

There are also fuzzy carpets on the floor, making each walk feel nice.

One might think this was excessive.

However, the Silver Moon Hotel didn't hold back for its guests' better experience, especially when the owner himself decided to visit Silver Moon Hotel!

The beautiful female attendant smiled politely and looked at the noble guests. They are Lord Shadow's family and loved ones.

There are also Shadow Brides.

'I, Ling Ke, cannot fuck this up!' The attendant thought while trembling inside.

As they walked into the lobby, the interiors immediately caught their attention. Even the Yu Clan's compound isn't as exaggerated as this.

"Wow..." Everyone except Yu Long was impressed.

"Those paintings look expensive..." Xu Sanshan couldn't help but comment.

Xu Nannan nodded and added, "Each stroke felt alive..."

"Esteemed guests, these paintings and calligraphy are made with special ink. It registers the maker's intent and brings them out if you stare at them for five seconds." Ling Ke explained patiently.

"Of course, it was a merely shallow image. A feeling left behind by the artist."

'It's also a failed approach of adding 'profound aspects' into an object.' Yu Long thought casually. Before discovering Master Stone or Archive Rock, he tried many things to record 'profound aspects' of non-living objects.

It was months of failure.

However, the Shadow Realm used this method to create paintings and calligraphy, generating more income for the organization.

Although the image left behind only appears briefly, it's good enough to make it unique. These things are also sold like hotcakes, as many sects and schools want to use them to record important things.

Unfortunately for those fools, the special ink Ling Ke said was a facade.

There is no special ink. To make these paintings and calligraphy, one must flow profound aspects into an object. In this case, a nice-looking paper or beast's hide.

"So pretty." Yu Xin and Xia Qingyue stopped near a fox sculpture made of white wood.

"If you want to, I can refer you to the maker of this piece." Ling Ke appeared beside them.

"Then, we will appreciate it." Yu Xin giggled because she could decorate her garden with some animal sculptures.

Meanwhile, Yu Zhan rubbed his stubbles and mumbled, "Melted Ocean Blue Grains..."

"It regulates the temperature, giving off a cool or warm sensation depending on the mixture ratio."

"You're very discerning, sir." Ling Ke praised honestly. "Indeed, we used melted Ocean Blue Grains to coat the interior. As for the mixture, we can adjust them to the most comfortable temperature with some secret method."

"Oh?" Yu Zhan nodded in understanding.

'It's an array. The whole hotel is array formation, so they obviously could control the temperature.' Yu Long pointed the obvious in his head but didn't say anything.

They are moving to the east side of the hotel, where the view of Silver Lake is the greatest. There are three best suites booked early for Yu Long and his family.

On the far corner, for Yu Long himself.

Middle for his parents.

And the nearest to the lobby is for his grandparents.

No one complains about this room's assignments. They truly loved everything about the hotel.

After that, Ling Ke left because some guests made a ruckus outside.

In the corridor, outside their suites.

Yu Long's family gathered and discussed their route to enjoy Silver Lake City.

"Hmm, it's still too early to take a nap." Xu Sanshan said while looking far out the window.

"We must walk around the city!"

"First, the main street, then the city center. And lastly, that restaurant." He pointed his finger at the tall-looking building.

"I know you'd say that..." Xu Nannan shook her head helplessly. "We have been hiding so long from the Four Great Sacred Grounds' radar."

"I'm just trying to enjoy more life!" Xu Sanshan righteously continued.

The older woman chuckled, "I'm not disputing your words, honey."

"Don't you forget? We have suffered together?"

"Nannan..." Xu Sanshan's expression melted.

"Then, we will follow you two." Yi Xin said with a smile. "This is a nice time for us to spend more time outside like a family."

"Husband, don't even think about it."

Yu Zhan lifted his arm in defeat, "I haven't said a thing."

Yu Xin moved her gaze to Yu Long and asked, "Do you want to follow us?"

"No, let's just meet at the restaurant later." Yu Long waved his hand casually. "I suddenly gained inspiration."

"Well, see you later." Xu Sanshan patted his grandson's shoulder and left with the other three.

Yu Long waved his hand, "Don't wander around too much, or you'll get lost, Grandpa!"

"I'm not that senile, you brat!" Xu Sanshan roared joyfully.

As they disappeared on the corridor's corner, Yu Long yawned and spoke casually, "Qingyue, stop practicing for today."

"Eh..." Xia Qingyue was 'actually' lost for words.

If she couldn't train, then what should she do?

'She truly becomes a cultivating maniac...' Yu Long bitterly sighed and rubbed Xia Qingyue's head gently.

"Follow me. We are going to visit a master's blacksmith shop."

"Master's blacksmith shop?" Xia Qingyue's eyes lit up. In the past, she has seen Yu Long make weights for her younger brother.

Is he going to make something fascinating?

Hong Guan and Lily also thought the same, knowing their young master's attitude.

"I'll make accessories." Yu Long answered their curiosity.

"Then, why are we staying here? Let's go!" The three ladies dragged him to the city.

"..." Yu Long didn't say he would make accessories for them.

Oh well, he would make extra accessories.

They wandered around Silver Lake City for a bit and even bought some street foods before going to the west part of the city. This part is warmer due to the artificial volcano created by an array formation nearby.

A two-story building greeted them. And there is a bold metal plate on its front wall.

"Dwarf's Beards..." Xia Qingyue read the characters on the metal plate in confusion.

"What a unique sounding name!"

"..." Hong Guan facepalmed.

Lily's eyes also bulged because of irritation.

They knew who named this place, after all.

The corner of Yu Long's mouth twitched as he mumbled, "That old man is living too well..."

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE?!" Someone suddenly roared from the inside of the building. A young man in a blue martial robe angrily kicked the door and walked out, fuming as if someone threw crap to his face.

"FUCK YOUR SWORD! FUCK ALL THE WEAPON YOU MADE OLD MAN!"

"YOU SHOULD BE PROUD THIS YOUNG MASTER EVEN WANTED TO BUY IT!"

"THIS YOUNG MASTER CUR-!"

BAM!

Before the young man could finish his words, a fist made contact with his punchable face and launched him several meters away. The young man landed on the fountain and fainted.

A short yet muscular middle-aged man in shabby clothes stepped and roared, "If you want to buy my works, give me some respect first, motherfucker!"

The middle-aged man looks like he is in his late forties. He has short black hair with some strands of it becoming white.

The most eye-catching part about this fellow is height, which is not even 150 centimeters. He's shorter than Xia Qingyue. He also has a pair of ivory-colored eyes and a majestic-looking beard.

His name is Gu Wei or just Guwei. He does not have a surname, so he separated his name into two for business purposes.

Guwei looks younger than he should be, but he's actually 69 years old and the oldest Shadow Phantom in the Shadow Realm.

"Tsk, fucking noble and their arrogance." Guwei cursed between his breaths.

Yu Long chuckled and greeted, "Yo, old man. You should have retired at this age~!"

Guwei froze on the spot as he turned around slightly and saw Yu Long standing with three others.

"L-L-Lord..."

"Young Master Yu Long!" He fixed his greeting and kneeled immediately.

Yu Long was amused and returned, "Haha, don't be so formal. We haven't seen each other for two years now."

"Business has been good so far, eh?"

"Yes." The short middle-aged man responded softly.

"Young Master, please enter my humble shop first."

"This place isn't suitable for talking."

He glanced at the fainted young man not far away and added, "There is trash nearby."

"Sure." Yu Long nodded while entering the blacksmith shop.
