Yu Long played with Ice Phoenix's bloodline, which had crystallized into an ice-blue orb in his hand.
"What is that?" Cang Yue asked curiously.
"Ice Phoenix's Bloodline." Yu Long answered casually. "I extracted and multiplied them after treating Mu Bingyun and Mu Xiaolan."
Xia Qingyue laughed in realization, "Haha, I see. So, you are healing and checking them up for that. Aih, I don't know if I should reward you for being goal-driven or scold you for wasting your charm."
"Well, you're going to my husband sooner or later."
"What?" Yu Long was confused by her comment.
Cang Yue nudged Yu Long slightly with her elbow, "She's talking about Mu Bingyun and her disciple. Aren't you interested in any of them?"
Yu Long rubbed his chin, "Do you want an honest answer?"
"You're answering my question with more questions. But yes, we want to know." Cang Yue stuck her tongue out.
Yu Long abruptly hugged Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue, pressing themselves into him. He leaned into their ears and whispered discreetly, "Yes, I found them attractive."
"But..."
"But?" Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue's lit up in curiosity.
"It's not all about appearance." Yu Long smiled cheekily at them. "They are bent too easily because of Shizu, and I can't have that."
"Maybe in the future, I'll think with my little brother. Who knows?"
"Still, no matter what happens... My feelings won't change for you." He smoothly added.
"You scoundrel!" Cang Yue couldn't help but bite him on the shoulder playfully.
'It's been a while since I heard that line.' Yu Long thought while pinching Cang Yue's nose.
On the other hand, Xia Qingyue smiled and didn't say much after hearing Yu Long's answer. She buried her happy face in Yu Long's sleeve and concocted a plan.
After a few seconds, they finally arrived at the dining hall and asked some palace maids to bring them food. As they ate their brunch, Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue asked what Yu Long was doing yesterday.
They didn't see him until late evening.
Apparently, they are too busy enjoying their day out in the Divine Phoenix City and didn't learn about the massacre of allied nations and the Four Great Sacred Grounds.
"You attacked the Four Great Sacred Grounds and didn't bring us? How could you, Yu Long?" Being the drama queen that she is, Cang Yue said while wiping her nonexistent tears.
Xia Qingyue shook her head because she wasn't interested in watching the ant nest getting destroyed. To her, Four Great Sacred Grounds wasn't much anymore.
In the past, she would have been a little afraid.
But now? Even Xia Qingyue alone could wipe out the Four Great Sacred Grounds.
"I felt a dark energy yesterday. Was that you?" Xia Qingyue changed the topic.
"Me too." Cang Yue added.

He also told them about him acquiring the Evil Infant's Wheel of Myriad Tribulations.
Cang Yue counted with her fingers and said, "So, with this Evil Infant thingy, you have three Heavenly Profound Treasures in your pocket."
"Wow, you basically get half of them already."
Yu Long was amused, "Only you would call a frightening artifact like Evil Infant's Wheel of Myriad Tribulations, thingy."
"But you're fine, though." Cang Yue argued back. "Since you're stronger than this Evil Infant thingy, I know nothing wrong would happen."
"Sister Xuero, your way of thinking is amazing." Xia Qingyue couldn't help but clap her hands.
"Well, if you say it like that." Yu Long could only raise his arms in defeat at Cang Yue's comeback.
Xia Qingyue giggled, "Your speechless face is cute."
"So, is there anything you haven't told us?"
"Hmm, nothing in particular." Yu Long pondered for a bit. "Oh, wait. There is one piece of knowledge that I learned recently."
"So, the Devil Prince inside the Primordial Sin Divine Sword has become my loyal dog, and he was acquainted with Ling Zhiyun. And from their banter, I learned that the Primordial Era of Gods ended because of bullying."
"Bullying?" Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue were confused by his words.
Yu Long waved his hand and continued, "Yes. One of the Creation Gods, Mo E, was bullying the Devil Race. It was to the point the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign became desperate enough to use the Evil Infant's Wheel of Myriad Tribulations to wipe the God Race."
"And he succeeded, but I think there was more to it."
"A new mystery." Xia Qingyue mumbled to herself.
Cang Yue rubbed her palms together, "I don't know why, but I'm excited to solve the reason behind Mo E's action. Such an evil guy, so his goal must be special."
"Or not." Yu Long shook his head gently. "Xuero, some people just want to watch the world burn."
"I mean, we could just ask Zilong or Shizu..." Xia Qingyue pointed out.
Yu Long finished his food and wiped his mouth with a napkin, "Bad news for you. They wouldn't give you a single answer. Zilong has lost his memory, and Shizu won't open her mouth unless necessary."
"Yes, she won't even give me an answer on where the Evil God's Earth Seed is 'actually' located. She told me to search outside the Blue Pole Star and see more of the Primal Chaos.
"Is that so?" Xia Qingyue wasn't so surprised.
Shizu is like a vault of ancient, forbidden, and lost knowledge. But she also has to be responsible for it.
"Good, we can solve the mystery on our own!" Cang Yue pumped her fist excitedly.
Yu Long and Xia Qingyue glanced at each other before chuckling at Cang Yue's antics.
"Actually, if you want an answer... We can ask someone."
"Follow me after brunch."
After their brunch, Yu Long brought Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue to Phoenix Perching Valley to wake up the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign. He waved his hand, and a great mass landed on the ground.
"This is the Devil Race..." Cang Yue curiously looked at the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign. Besides the larger body's size and skin tone, this devil is no different than humans.
He also looks decent for an ancient entity.
Even Xia Qingyue expected the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign to be an alien or some kind of it. Well, her imagination is 'unfortunately' ruined.
"No Alien..." She was sad for no reason.
"Oh, yeah." Yu Long remembered the Devil Prince and summoned the Primordial Sin Divine Sword. "Jin, we are going to wake your father up."
"Really, my lord? Can you really wake my father up?" An excited voice comes from the silverish-black sword.
"I can cut his connection with the Evil Infant, so waking him up is easy. Well, I will stab the sword nearby so you can watch." Yu Long glanced around the perimeter and saw a sturdy-looking rock.
After stabbing the Primordial Sin Divine Sword into the rock, Yu Long went to the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign again and crouched down.
He observed the Devil Sovereign's body with [Kaiju Maker] for a second and then did the unthinkable.

"Wake up, ancient devil!" Yu Long slapped the Devil Sovereign's face.
"MY LORD, THAT IS MY FATHER!" Jin couldn't help but shout in fright from the Primordial Sin Divine Sword.
'That's very Yu Long...' Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue's mouths twitched at this sight. Back then, Yu Long liked to play pranks on others.
If he didn't focus on something and had too much free time, that is.
Of course, Yu Long didn't just slap the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign, as he used the shock to trigger regeneration within the Devil Sovereign's body, restarting his dying heart with vitality.

"D-DEVIL!" The Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign cried out in horror.

A Devil Sovereign is calling someone a devil.
