7 Departure

(Johnathan's POV)

After my run-in with Superman, I quickly ran back out and deactivated the Kabuto suit. I then walked out towards the paramedics and officers trying to keep myself conscious. I thought that the injuries that I had were not too bad, but boy was I wrong they were more than I could handle. I could've avoided these but I had to protect the Danvers sisters and not let Kara involve herself until the plot started. I also gained some burns from the fire that was on the debris that fell on me. Luckily the Kabuto zecter came in time to save me. I could barely stand when I was talking to Superman about the two worms. I chuckled at my acting but then I began to spit out some blood.

"Johnathan!" I heard a girl shout out, so looking up I noticed that it was Kara who shouted my name. When she shouted out my name Alex also turned around and saw me. Both of them rushed towards me and then my body finally gave out sending me tumbling down. I don't remember what happened next because I blacked out, but I was informed by Alex when she came to visit me in the hospital.

"Well, it is good to see that you guys are uninjured," I said to the Danvers sisters.

"That is priceless coming from you!" my mother retorted while smacking the back of my head.

"Mom, what are you doing hitting an injured child," I said with some tears in my eyes. She just raised her fist and gave me a death glare. I could hear some laughing from everyone else in the room. There were the Danvers sisters, Mrs. Danvers, and my parents.

"Mrs. Takahashi, just be glad that they made it back in one piece." Mrs. Danvers said saving me. My mom then had a more caring glare now so I turned towards Mrs. Danvers and gave her a thumbs up. Which wasn't unnoticed by my mother, but she just hugged me instead.

"I don't think you should go to Metropolis anymore." my father said to me.

"What?" Both Alex and Kara said at the same time. I just gave my father a cold look. He looked at me in confusion before it hit him that I never told them yet. My father then sipped on his drink while looking away.

"Thanks, Dad," I said with some coldness and turned towards the two sisters.

"I was going to tell you guys tomorrow, but now that it's out of the bag. I have decided to pursue an acting career and possibly more." I stated and the sisters sat there in silence for a bit.

"If you're going to pursue your dream then I don't think we should fall behind him right Kara," Alex stated.

"I agree. Also just because you are going to be going to school away from us it doesn't mean you can forget about us." Kara said.

"No doubt about that. Plus when I become a big star you guys can say that you know me and get into the best clubs." I said chuckling. Which landed me two pinches to my sides from them.

"When you fail then don't come crying to us," Kara said while pouting. Alex nodded along with her statement. After I got discharged from the hospital, my parents threw a going-away party for me and even though I was only going to be about two hours away it seemed like I was leaving for another state. It soon hit midnight and everyone left leaving only my family left.

"Go ahead and pack up dear. Your father and I will clean up." my mother told me. So I went upstairs to my room and began to pack up until I heard a knocking at my window.

"Who could be here at this hour?" I question myself and went to go open the window. I saw Kara floating just outside my door and I was shocked to see her floating. I thought that it wouldn't be too much to me but seeing it this close was amazing.

"Hey," Kara said while waving at me. I just waved back and motioned for her to come inside. She sat down on my bed next to me and we didn't speak for a couple of minutes.

"So," we both said at the same time and began to giggle at ourselves.

"Johnathan, I am going to tell you something that only three people. No, it is only two now but I'm going to tell you something and you have to keep it a secret." Kara said to me with a serious tone.

"I'm all ears," I replied to her.

"I'm a person from another planet. My home planet is Krypton and it is from a faraway galaxy." She said. I sat there in silence to make it seem like I was digesting the information

"So I'm guessing you're related to Superman then," I said and she nodded.

"So you're the younger one," I said,

"No! I'm the older one, but I was stuck in the Phantom Zone so he got here before me." She retorted cutely and I just chuckled at her.

"So now that you know, how do you feel about me now?" she asked in a quiet voice. I could tell that she was slightly shaking and I didn't have the lights on so it was dark within the room. I reached over to hold her hand and then the moonlight shined on us just in time for me to see her face. She was smiling with some tears at the edge of her eyes. The moonlight made her face ten times more beautiful and her dazzling smile made it even better.

"No matter who you are or what you are. The years I've had with you will not change the way I think of you." I said to her then leaned forward and she closed her eyes in anticipation. I landed a kiss on her forehead and wrapped my hands around embracing her.

"Don't forget about me now, Kara, "I whispered into her ear and got up to see her with a bright red face. I turned around to continue to pack up and felt a breeze so I knew she left.

"Let's leave my mark in this world," I said to myself as I laid back down onto my bed.

(Third person POV)

8 years later.

In the streets of National City, there was a blond-haired young woman with glasses running amongst the people with coffees in her hand.

"Careful there!" a random citizen shouted out when the young woman bumped into him.

"Ah, sorry sir. I'm just in a rush." The young girl shouted out while trying to balance herself out with the coffee cups.

"Hey, have you been reading up on that manga Naruto?" a man asked another man.

"Yeah, I caught up in like two days. Too bad it takes a while to update." the other man replied.

"Good thing they came out with the anime. The music makes the anime more wonderful to watch." The first man said.

"In the last three years, a lot more great stories have been coming out." The man of a couple said.

"I've been reading up on SAO, it is a very interesting story. I can't imagine being trapped in a game." The girl of the couple said.

"Hey, did you finally get the VR set?" a young boy asked his friend.

"My grandparents bought it for my birthday yesterday. I can't wait to go play it. There are so many new games to try." the boy's friend replied.

"I can't believe that there are coming out with a Rush Hour 2!" a martial art expert said to his fellow members.

"Yeah I know, at first I didn't think it would be good but the martial arts in the movie are so genuine." Fellow member #1 said.

"The comedy fits so well and doesn't disrupt the flow at all. Also, the acting skills of all of the actors are so amazing especially the one person who plays the main antagonist." Fellow member #2 said.

"What was his name again?" the martial artist asked.

"Ah, I think his name was Johnathan Takahashi." #1 replied.

"Wasn't he also the director too." #2 said.

"He must've made a name for himself to be able to direct a movie with such big names. But I've got to say anything he does has been worthwhile. Just like Fast and the Furious." The martial artist said while his fellow members nodded along in agreement.

"I can see that he has been busy lately. No wonder he hasn't talked to us in a while." the blonde-haired woman murmured to herself. She finally made it to a big building with a big logo of CATCO.

"I hope Mrs. Grant isn't here early." the blonde-haired woman said and entered the building. As she walked into the room full of people typing away at their computers,

"Hey Kara, how was your weekend?" a young man with short brown fluffy hair asked her.

"Uggghh. Don't even get me started Winn." Kara responded.

"Well, I'm all ears." He said with a bright smile. Kara couldn't help but smile back.

"Well, here is what happen." She tried to say but stopped mid-sentence. "Mrs. Grant is coming up! Quick everyone into your position." Kara then went to grab the coffee that she picked up for Mrs. Grant but realized that it was cold so she quickly used her heat vision to heat it back up. There was a Ding from the elevator and Mrs. Grant walked out of the elevator towards her office.

"Carol! I need my morning latte now." Mrs. Grant stated and Kara quickly came running into the office.

"Ah, there you are." Mrs. Grant said while Kara handed the drink to Mrs. Grant.

"How long have you been here for, Carol?" Mrs. Grant asked Kara.

"It's Kara and I have been here for about a year and a half years now," Kara replied.

"Yes, you have and are doing a great job as my assistant. So make sure to keep up the good work." Mrs. Grant said as she went to go sit down in her chair.

"So what is on the schedule for today?" Mrs. Grant asked.

"First off you have a meeting to hold at 10:30 today, next you have lunch with your mother at noon, then you need to review the story articles at 2 after that pick up your son from school at 4," Kara replied. Mrs. Grant then looked at her watch and noticed that it was already 10:25.

"Go ahead and call for the meeting so we can get it done faster." Mrs. Grant demanded. Kara nodded and began to get everyone together for the meeting. While this was happening, in another part of the city there was a young man walking around with shades on and short spikey hair.

"Ah, it has been a while since I last came to National City. I think the last time I came here was when we filmed Fast and Furious." He said to himself while walking with his hands behind his head.

"Why does that person seem familiar?" a young girl asked her friend.

"He does look very handsome though." the other girl replied.

"Ah! That's Johnathan Takahashi from the romance movie Another Cinderella Story!" the first girl shouted out.

"He was also on Dancing with the Stars and he also won last year's competition." the other girl said. With that many people turned around noticing the young man and taking their phones out to take pictures.

"Ah shoot, here we go again." The young man said and began to run off. The citizens began to chase after him,

"If you guys want a photo and get together, then please come to our fan gathering in three days at the convention center!" He shouted out while running.
