5 Battle Commence!
The five green worms charged at me quickly, but I rolled away and tripped one of them. I quickly got back up to my feet and side kicked another one sending it tumbling away. Sending Ki into my fists and feet, I began to fight with the remaining three worms. As I fended off the three worms, the purple beetle just stared at us like it was trying to figure out something.
"So there are humans capable of standing against our grunts." A deep voice sounded out from the beetle. I was shocked for a split second, but that didn't stop me from creating my ax-gun and slashing the closest worm. The worm was split in half and began to disintegrate into a puddle. I finished off the rest until it was only me and the purple beetle. One moment it was standing still, then it disappeared from my vision. The next thing I knew, I was flying through the air and crashing into one of the trees.
"What the hell just happened?" I questioned myself. It appeared once again to stare at me then it disappeared and I was sent flying many times. I could feel that some of my ribs were broken, along with some ruptures of my organs.
"Looks like it's using super speed. I can't believe I forgot about something so important." I said to myself. Then I heard a buzzing sound come out of nowhere and the monster began to roll around the ground as it was being attacked. I noticed a crimson red small figure attacking it.
"Kabuto Zecter! Made it just in time," I said, and then I reached out my right hand motioning it to come towards me. The zecter flew with lightning speed to me. As it flew through the air, I pressed a button on my belt with my left hand which in turn made it into the rider belt. The zecter made it into my hand and instantly inserted it into the belt.
"Henshin!" The zecter shouted out. Then the silver and red armor began to envelop my body giving me a boost of strength. The monster threw a punch at me, but I caught it before it landed. The monster was surprised to see me catch its attack. I held onto its fist and returned my attack to its abdomen sending it flying into a tree. It slowly got up while glaring at me, then it used super-speed once more to gain the upper hand.
"This will be a great chance to test out the clock-up system," I said to myself. I pushed the Bettle zecter horn up and my armor began to pop out then pulling the horn across its body.
"Cast off!" The zecter shouted as pieces of my armor flew off crashing into anything and everything.
"Change Beetle!" The zecter shouted once more. I then pressed onto the button on the left side of the belt.
"Clock up!" shouted the zecter. Everything around me came to a standstill even the leaves that were falling from the shockwaves. I could see the monster running at me slowly.
"It seems that my upgrade made the Clock up more powerful. The worm's speed can't match up to mine." I thought to myself and let out a small chuckle. I began to walk around the monster with leisure. After walking right next to the monster, I dug my feet into the ground making two deep craters and charged up a Ki-infused fist. I unloaded the fist into the monster's right side, sending it flying at a moderate speed due to the clock-up function. I quickly made my way around to where it would land. I then pressed on the Zecter's legs on top of the buckle.
"1! 2! 3!" the zecter shouted, next I grabbed the horn once more switching it to its original position then bringing it quickly back over once more.
"Rider Kick!" Shouted the Zecter while blue electricity began to make its way from the zecter to my horn then back to my right foot. As the monster flew closer, I raised my foot into the air vertically. When the monster flew into my strike zone, I delivered a powerful ax kick onto the back of its head shattering it into many pieces. When it fell to the ground, my instincts kicked in telling me to jump back so I did just that. The monster blew up just moments after I got to a safe distance. The area where it blew up was covered in nothing but ashes and bent trees.
It was silent for a while, but then I heard a clicking noise breaking the silence. I turned towards the source and noticed Kenny standing there with his camera.
"Crap, I forgot that he was close by but when did he get here." I started to walk towards Kenny and reality finally kicked in making him fall on his butt.
"Please don't hurt me!" He shouted while holding his hands in the air. I got close and crouched down so that I was face to face with him.
"Get back home kid, before something else shows up to eat you," I said to him. Little did he know was that I used Clock up to check his camera and found out he only got there during the last part of the battle. He fumbled around before getting up on his feet and taking off as his life depended on it. I don't blame him cause it sorta did.
"Good thing this suit comes with a voice changer." I thought to myself while pulling the zecter off and retracting the suit. I took a look at my body to see if there were any visible injuries and not to my surprise there were multiple. I had a big bruise on the right side of my ribs, but luckily some of my organs that were damaged were being healed slowly due to my cultivation. My face was also busted up a bit here and there but not too bad, so I took my time walking home so that my body could heal itself up. Cause the last thing I need is for my parents to interrogate me.
After making it home, I was clear because my parents weren't home so I went upstairs to take a shower. When I got out of the shower and dried myself up, I noticed that my face was glowing and looked a bit better than before. I honestly wouldn't lose to some of those popular K-pop Idols. I got dressed in my PJs and went straight to bed. As I laid in my bed, I began to think of different ways for myself to integrate into the timeline without messing things up too much. I already realized that with my presence and power that the worms were here also. There must be an association that is making them, the meteorite must've landed before I was born. It also seems like Superman doesn't have a clue what they are or he doesn't know that they are being made.
After some brainstorming, I finally decided that I could invest in the stock market. Since I sorta paid attention to it in the other world and this one is very similar too. I shouldn't have too much trouble with anything. I can also develop some of the new gadgets that haven't been developed yet like VR, certain mangas, light novels, and maybe I could get into acting also directing movies. I decided to write everything down in one of my notebooks: Naruto, Guilty Crown, Dragon Ball, SAO, Rush Hour series, Fast and Furious, maybe some romance movies here and there, Battle through the Heavens, Against the Gods.
"This should be enough for now. The next thing to do is convince my parents to let me start acting classes and dancing too." I thought to myself as I drifted to sleep. The next morning I began to make a rough draft of the light novels first since I wasn't that great at drawing. Today was Saturday so I spent all morning writing and waited for my parents to wake up. As I was indulged in writing, I didn't notice that my parents were already awake and made breakfast for me. I got called down to eat so I stopped writing and went downstairs.
"Dad, I know what I want to do with my life now," I said to my father while eating my breakfast. He looked up from his newspaper and took a sip of his coffee.
"And what would that be, son?" He asked and my mom overheard me. She came running over and took a seat right next to me with both hands under her chin.
"I would like to become an actor and possibly an artist on the side," I said with confidence. They both had shocked faces on, but then they had reassuring smiles.
"No matter what you want to be we will support you to our fullest." my mother replied.
"I was kinda hoping that you would stay here and help me with the farm though." my father replied also but was given the death stare from my mother. He coughed lightly,
"What your mother said is right. We will support you all the way." He said with some sweat on his forehead. My mother began to search for the best acting school right away, while my father began to clean up the table. As usual, I helped my father tend the farm and animals then I would continue to write the novels. A week went by and my mother found an acting school in Metropolis, so I was to transfer in three days. My light novels have been getting great reviews also, so I made another website for people to donate money for exclusive chapters and a chance to become a character in the stories. Then I made some arrangements with the Danvers sisters. I walked to their house and knocked on the door.
"Oh, if it isn't little Johnathan. What brings you over today?" Mrs. Danvers asked when she answered the door.
"I'm here to take out the sisters for a fun day," I replied.
"I heard from your mother and I'm proud of you. Alex still doesn't know what to do yet. I haven't told them anything yet and I'm guessing you're going to drop the bomb after today." she said.
"Well, no. I'm going to tell them after another fun day because it would be in bad taste," I said.
"Mom! Where are those things called that make your face prettier?" Kara's voice sounded from upstairs.
"I'll be there in a minute dear!" Mrs. Danvers shouted back and invited me inside. Then I noticed Alex walking down the stairs in only her underwear, when Alex saw me at the door she stopped in her track.
"Black huh, it's a nice color and works well for you," I said. Her face became bright red and ran quickly back upstairs.
" Johnathan, I hate you!" Alex shouted while she ran. I stood there chuckling and went to sit down on the couch. After some time both Danvers sisters were sitting in front of me on the other couch.
"So what are we going to do today, Johnathan?" Kara curiously asked. While Alex sat in silence hiding her embarrassed face.
"Well, first off you both look amazing. Second, there is a live play of Wizard of Oz playing today, and third, there is a new Chinese restaurant opened today that I heard has the best potstickers." I replied and Kara sat there with the brightest smile ever and Alex was laughing at her expressions.
