The Championship

River's POV

"This is it guys. Give all your best in this championship. Win or lose its still a win to us. It's already a big thing that we can get to the finals. So guys this is our last shot so good luck to all of you." Our coach said to us.

"Don't worry coach you have here your beautiful Captain." Sam said gruffly, I knew she was just lightening the ambiance.

She knew that her team mates were nervous so as a Captain of the team its her way to ease our nervous. Sam is just like that but when it comes to our team, we all know that she is always there, with us.

"Of course, Capt, are we going to find someone else? When we already have you." One of our team mate said laughing.

"You are our one and only Capt. and we are lucky because you are our captain." The other member said.

"Hmm! It was accompanied by flattery. You guys will not take me by that." Sam said laughing at us and all of our team mates laugh too.

"Chop! Chop! Focus okay?" Our coach shouted at us.

"Alright let's go guys!" I said to them. We need to win this match.

We first shook hands with those who will compete with us today.

"Ppppprrttt!!!" The referee whistled.

I looked at Sam and gestured to her what I'm going to do and then to Kelly and I smiled at her and she nodded. Alright this is it.

A coin is tossed to see who will served first and it turns out Korea.

When they serve, my team mates and I are ready. Sam and I need to be in sync, if not its a mess.

"Dude." I called Sam and give a sign to her then she nodded. She knows what to do next.

I sent the ball to her so she jumped with a spike but the opponent immediately returned it. There were also several rallies before we scored through Sam.

Alright first score of the game.

"Nice spike Cap!" Our team mates said to her.

"Samtot you're really good. Come here I'll give you a kiss." I said to her laughing then I messed her hair.

"Dork!"

The game continued and I can only say that they are not an easy opponents. We were already very tired after the first set. The resistance of these people is stronger than us.

They are great. It's obvious that we really have a hard time winning this game.

We lost the first set 0-1 and fuck it we should immediately needed to recover. If we lose I'll make sure they have a hard time too before getting pass us.

We are now on the bench resting because we just finished the first set.

I was drinking water when the audience suddenly cheered. I was curious why.

"Fuck River you won't believe what will I say!" Sam said, very shocked.

"Wahhhhh!" I was surprised by Kelly's sudden scream as if she is thrilled. Okay, what's up?

"What's is happening Bud?" I asked Sam with a frown.

"Look!" At the same time, she pointed up to the screen where it was showing the video of the fans watching or sometimes even the player.

I can believe what I am seeing. Isn't it? Shit. Am I dreaming? Hallucinating? Or just because I am having a huge crush on Kim Adrianne. Maybe because I was eager to see her in person.

"Looks like we have a special audience today. Girls Rule is in your area guys." The commentator said and the crowd makes some noice bacause of this special audience.

Shit why are they here? Are you sure? Is it legit?

It seems that they felt that the cam was facing them so they waved to it and also posed.

I saw Jiyoon pointing her jersey number and Francine also do the same. Well, it seems like they are prepared to come here and they are also wearing a jersey. But they just look cute right now.

I was curious about my wife's jersey number and you wouldn't believe it shet!!!

"Sam its my chance I need to impress my wife." I said to her not minding her complaint.

"Then we should win this game." Kelly said.

"How? Korea is really good." I said sadly. Korean is really strong right now. Maybe because they trained hard? We trained hard too.

"Just give your best. Even if we lose if you are good she will still notice you." Sam said comforting me. You would think that there is still kindness in her too.

"Alright I'll do my best, win or lose at least I know she's watching and I hope to see her up close." I said to the two while smiling.

"It's surprising, but as far as I know, Girls Rule is not a fan of volleyball." Kelly said to us.

"According to what I know, especially my wife." I also said. Because they are not obviously sporty. Chin is the only one I know who likes basketball, but she only watch NBA basketball and not volleyball.

"You see, at least they're here." Sam said while messing with Kelly and I's hair at the same time because he was in the middle of us.

"Fuck you Sam, like I said not my hair.." I said to him in disgust but the dork just laughed at me and continued to walk with me.

The referee whistle because it's already second set.

I will serve the ball because, I have been assigned due to rotation.

The cam was focused on me so I smiled and winked before serving. Of course, be cute first, maybe the girls or Jennie will notice me and take them out right away.

After I acted cute, I hit the ball just right so it wouldn't go out or will hit the net.

Adrianne's POV

"Did you see that? She's pretty and handsome too." Tae Rin unnie commented.

I'm stuck up with that gesture of her. And my heart was like bruuhhh why are you beating like that. My heart beats faster than the usual.

"Yes unnie more pretty than Rabbit's crush." Jiyoon said starting to pissed this Chin beside me. And luckily they are both in the end. Arranged with Jiyoon, Tae Rin, me then Chin.

Cho in just rolled her eyes on Jiyoon. But the latter didn't stop at that.

"What do you think Rian unnie?" Jiyoon turn to me.

"What are you saying?" I said to her.

"Who is more pretty the girl that serve the ball a while go or Chin's girl crush?" Jiyoon asked me.

I took a deep breath then answer her.

"I'm sorry Chin but I think that girl is way pretty than your girl crush but its only my opinion." I said to her and she looks like okay.

"I understand unnie like they said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder." She said then smiled at me and I smiled back at her.

"Wait Rian is it also the reason that you got 17? Cause her jersey number is also 17 the same with yours Ri." Chu suddenly said and the three of them looks so shocked. I just rolled my eyes to them.

"So Rian unnie you are also a traitor?" Jiyoon said eyeing me. And guys please stop me before I hit this monkey.

"Did I mention that she is the reason? Its just a coincident that her number was also 17 and I don't even know her. Like I said it is the only number that close to 16 and theres no 16 thats why I chose it." I explain to them and the two maknae nodded then I look at Tae Rin. I think she's not convinced but she just let it go.

"She's really beautifully handsome." Chin squeeled while cheering the girl from the Philippine team.

"Yah rabbit did you already know the name of your girl?" Jiyoon asked her. Beacause their last name was the only thing that is imprinted in the back of their jersey.

"Yeah of-course not just her name but also her full name." She said to us but still cheering of the opponent of our country.

"So what is it then?" I asked her.

"Sam Pauline Izon. And I also know that she have two bestfriend the one that have jersey number 17 and jersey number 14." She said to us but, thats to much imformation. Well, it favor for me too. I didn't know that she dig some research for that girl she's fangirling.

"So you also know the names of her bestfriend?" Tae Rin ask her then grin at me. Whats with her?

"Lets go to their room." Jiyoon said then wink at Chin.

"Is it okay unnies?" Chin ask me and Tae Rin.

"I think we wait till the half of their team member go out of their room." I said to them.

"Rian is right girls." Tae Rin agreed with me.

"But unnie what if they go out first?" Chin said.

"Then we are unlucky if thats happen." I just said to her.

Theres nothing we can do if that happens.

"But unnie." Chin said while pouting.

"If that happens theres always a next time Chin." I just said to this Rabbit beside me.

"I'll ask the security." Chin said then she go to one of the security in the stadium.

"He said that they are still complete in the room. We'll just wait for a minute. I also told the security to call us if the other members go out." She said to us.

"Okay let's wait." Tae Rin said.

"Hi Girls Rule the other members are already go out. I think you should go I'll accompany you to the room." The security said to us and he lead the way and we just follow him.

"Thank you sir." We said to him while walking and he just smile to us.

"This is their room just come inside. I'll go ahead." He said to us then he left.

"We'll knock unnie?" Jiyoon asked me.

"We should knock for respect of their privacy I think." I said to them.

"Then I should knock." Jiyoon said then she knock at the door. But no one is answering.

"Lets just go inside. Come on guys faster." Chin said.

"Come on! Come faster! Guys!" Chin the pushed us then she open the door already.

I'm nervous meeting her in person.
