1 Prologue

The dark alley became less darker as those five pair of eyes began to glow with lust and amusement as the bodies they were attached to, were slithering their way towards their prey. Unfortunately for them, their prey already had injured their wings.

Yes, wings. They had the body of snakes but were enormous in size and had a pair of wings. They were basilisk. They were greedy and lustful.

10 minutes ago, they found a teenage girl, her skin was wheatish white, her long black hair bounced as she walked, her eyebrows were slightly arched, as her nose was sharp, her cheeks had a natural blush, her jawline was sharper than a sword and her lips were pinkish. Her dirty and tattered red clothes hugged her body and emphasized her curves. She looked a little pale.

Even though she looked starved and dirty, she didn't look like a beggar, her beauty didn't seem have diminished at all.

She looked deep in thought as she didn't realise that five people were looking at her with hungry eyes and soon they encircled her.

She bumped into one of them and immediately stepped back as she became vigilant and gaurded.

With uncertainty in eyes, she asked them ,"Who are you?!"

She asked them about their identities but she wasn't that interested in their answer, all she wanted was some time to analyse the situation.

She started by observing them, the one who replied her was shorter in height compared to the other men.The one to his left has brown hair while the rest had grey hair so he must be younger than the rest.They had green eyes with a black line as their iris. She could faintly guess that their eyes were like snakes'. All in all they looked kind of same with only one character that distinguishes them from one another. Just then she heard the shorter guy say while he was licking his lips, " We are basilisk, you got our attention, come with us, we will give you a comfortable life."

The word, 'Basilisk' triggered her brain as some piece of information which seemed to have uncovered from the deepest part of her brain. She remembered that basilisk had the body of snake with a pair of wings. They were the only kind of snakes left in this world. The reason they were alone was simple they were most greedy so to rule and become the royal kind of snakes in the snake clan and appoint the snake king amongst themselves, they plotted against the other kinds while the others were busy fighting, they took the backseat and watched how their plan unfolded, the rest killed each other mistaking them as enemies while treated the enemy as friends. Within 5 months, all snakes except basilisk were killed.As the sole survivor of the snake clan, they became the royal snakes. They can turn into humans when they become 10 years old once they become 40 they develop grey hair. They can live up to a 100 years.

She was surprised with the sudden information but not too surprised. She had clearly lost all her memories , she doesn't even remember her name but sometimes certain words she hear from people triggers her and she remembers all about them. Even without her memories, she continuously feels she forgot something very important to her.

She woke up from her thoughts when the shortest guy suddenly started approaching her.

She backed away step by step and asked, " I do not wish to go with you, I am fine by myself."

She could feel his lustful gaze and very well knew what they wanted and they would never leave her alone. She felt too disgusted.

Just when she saw the guy closing in on her.She kicked his groin with all her might. He fell on the ground with a thud while covering his privates with both his hands. She took the opportunity and she started running, away from them.

She took turns from this alley to that alley. Her body began to ache, she was experiencing a splitting headache but she had to run in order to protect herself. Just when she thought she lost them...something happened
