Chapter 1

LIE felt numb as she lightly lifts her body when she woke up. She closed her eyes for a moment and was stunned by a slight pain she's feeling in her forehead. 'Wait, what happened to her?'

"It's good that you're now awake."

A baritone voice made her turned where the door is. A sudden explainable feeling stirred up her being as her eyes are being stick glued to the intruder. A tall, well-gymed body built, of a natural complexion. She looked up at his handsome face ... wait, 'handsome?', When did she learn to look at human's well-being? All her life, she never gave any description to the opposite, not especially to strangers she just met seconds ago.

"Why are you stunned, or are you thinking of something ?. Are you planning to run away from me Dianne ?" he grinned with his sharp eyes upon her giving her a feeling of fear.

"Not again Dianne, never again. Shine will be here later, I let someone fitch her from the city. And don't ever try to escape. Don't run away from your responsibility." he warned her with gnashing teeth in addition to his piercing looks as ready to devour its prey. It stressed her out, what is this man talking about?

"Wait a minute!" She yelled angrily at him.

"Who are you ? who are Diane and Shine? And why are you mad at me, what have I done to you, and what responsibility are you claiming? " she asked shockingly. She saw his eyes darken as if he was going to tear her apart.

"Don't play dumb and surprised Dianne, it's just a small piece of stone scratch your head, you can't have amnesia," he said. "You would have been beaten by the armed pursuant and suppose to be at the funeral at this moment if I did not come to rescue you on time."

What did he say? Pursuers? Armed ? she closes her eyes. She struggles to remember what happened and is she now in the hand of this very rude Gorilla stranger who calls her Dianne which is so not her name. Yes, he is a Gorilla now, and no longer handsome. A negative 00000.0000% handsomeness credit from her to him.

Flashback:

"Best at the count of .... 3, 2, 1" it was Lynne's voice, Lynne Love Diano-Morgan, her best friend and colleague at the Morgan Agent-Detective Agency. She is listening and connecting her through the earpiece. This is their last mission as Agent/Detective. She is ready for her new job as a Doctor at Morgan Hospital. The hospital where Lynne worked also as a Doctor and which is owned by her husband Doctor Keven Grant Morgan's family.

She immediately set herself up for their last mission. She is very eager to finish it immediately. Maybe it's time for her to leave this dear job at the request of her crazy best friend. What an insane excuse not to leave and resign from this job without her? Lynne won't resign if she doesn't resign either. She's pregnant with her first baby that's why Grant her husband is freaking and convincing her wife Lynne to resign but her dearly stubborn best friend refused. That's why, as a very understanding best friend, she ends up resigning too.

"I Don't wanna resign without you. We're partners, I don't want to let you fight in the battle without me by your side." she had her eyes rolling hearing her oh so shallow reasons.

Now that Lynne is pregnant, pregnancy hormone is domineering her. She can't sleep at her own house because Lynne wants her to be at their house. Sometimes, she looked like the third wheel of the two whenever they're dating, Lynne wanted her around with her everywhere, if she refuses then that means war. They were partners in everything. They're sisters which only their navels are not connecting them. They love each other more than just friends but siblings.

She looked at her wristwatch, it's time. She saw the target, she got off the van she was riding, waiting for the syndicates to be found. There will be trading between the two sides, money and items. On their side, the police and NBI were waiting around. Her mission now is to only catch syndicates' attentions to lure them, as the police officials will have the chance to approach them, catch them in the act and arrest them. She took her move, she saw that trading is now happening. And it's showtime !! She grinned successfully.

Kikay dance, kikay dance, la la la la la " she came out in disguise. She is acting crazy now singing the English version of the Tagalog song 'Sayaw Kikay'.

She shouts and shouts so that they will notice her. She even carried a can with small stones inside to create noise and her voice? well, it's a voice of a crazy child. A crazy small rejuvenated voice.

"Son !!! ???" she's still at her crazy disguised tone acting shocked upon seeing the man.

She immediately regretted the hugging act she did. ... GUAVA !!!!!! The smell of an overly ripens guava. She is hardly holding herself not to vomit. She is holding not to lose her consciousness. "Partner !, you didn't tell she is your mother," said the man from the opposite party. So she turned to him before she will faint from the smell of Guava man. Yes, she named him Guava. It perfectly suits him. She laughs evilly in her mind.

"Papa. !!!!," I suddenly called him. She kicked one of the men who tried to stop her directly to the thigh center where the manly symbol was there. And boom!!! She's just sorry, her force is too strong hitting him fatally. She loved extra rice of course, what will they expect. So she also has extra strength. And of course, crazy people are strong. They were uncontrollable, so she's acting accordingly. 'Right Lie? you and you're crazy reasons.' now she's truly getting crazy. Talking to herself as a fool, she's getting worse.

"Partner!, you didn't tell she is your daughter!!!." Guava smiled mockingly at the other man who was about to pull out a gun but she stopped him immediately.

"Papa don't!!," she abruptly said.

"It's forbidden to play with a gun shooter now. We are allowed to play just at home, okay?!, wait!..... Is this a for me Papa?" she is referring to the box which is a place between both parties. "Wow!!!, thank you, papa!"

In a swift move, she took the box open and hurriedly get what's inside. All men in the area have had not got to have the chance to stop her from doing what she did.

"whaaaaaaaa, huhuhuhu" she cried stomping her feet to the ground. They were surprised. She acted and crying loudly while lifting a sachet of powder. " Papa...., what is this?... I don't want this Tawas Powder, I want a Barbie." then she cried along. While on the other hand, it was the clue for the police officials to show up.

"Hey! crazy lady, go away !!!, get rid of that mess !!! She's delaying our operation." Guava shouted his men.

"Give me money please, huhuhu. I don't want that powder whom Papa brought, huhuhu. I don't want that, I want food and Barbie. " she turned to Guava, she didn't come near, she might lose his breath and consciousness if she will do that.

"You're so noisy, go away you're crazy, here, buy what you want, go away, shoo." she stared at the twenty pesos he handed.

"Thank you, son, I could already buy a guava for this, hehehe." She said innocently then there she laughed loudly again.

"Go away !!!" Guava shouted. Oh, what annoying guava. I pity them for doing these things. They just don't know that this is their last operation and it's over.

" Yes I'm leaving, lend me your hand first, hmmm the scent, it looks like there is guava in it" she quickly pulled one of their hands and took the handcuffs from the sack hanging at her shoulder then handcuffed the two.

"Damn what ..." before anyone could speak, her companions arrived.

" Don't move !!!!, raise all your hands !!!" the Police lead said. All motionless and spontaneously raised hands.

Their last mission is over and she felt relieved. She has a new job next week. She can now use her profession being a doctor. She and Lynne are both doctors, they were classmates, they were both taking medicine while working as part-time agents at the Morgan Agent-Detective Agency. They did a lot of training before they were sent on a mission. The agency is good, it gave them enough wage for the two of them finished their degree. She is an orphan, her adoptive parents were already dead. Her knowledge father was ill which brought him to death which was immediately followed by his wife due to grief and longings. She is Rine Lie Winters, with a foreign complexion, maybe her parents are foreigners. Her name was embroidered on the clothes she's wearing when she was found. Along with her name was the date which her adoptive parents assumed was her birth date. She was found at the chapel lying in the baby carrier. She asked mentally, who is she ? are her real parents still alive ?. She sighed, she was angry. There was anger in his heart. So she is angry. Nothing but anger.

She was walking home to her rented apartment when she saw men in the alley she was passing. She feels something upon their looks. She prepared herself, stopped walking, she knew they had guns, and she couldn't handle it if she will fight back. She is strong but no, she doesn't want to be beaten. Who are they.? She had no other choice to run and find a hideout. So she ran and ran but the men chased her. She kept running until she didn't notice the approaching vehicle and she was hit. She hit the bumper of the car and she was thrown back on the road as she felt something hit her head. She is now getting dizzy that couldn't stop herself from closing her eyes.

"Dianne? Dianne?.. Wake up!!" she heard the man's voice.

"Dianne !! " But she didn't hear the other man's words, she fell asleep completely.
