LIE's POV

"Ahm, does it hurts, HONEY?"

Lie was just holding her laugh at what had happened. Even she was shocked by Lynne's action, it turned out there is discrimination when it comes to her pregnancy hormones. If she wants to bite, then she should fulfill it. Extraordinarily pregnant.

Jude just glanced at her, his eyes narrowed upon her as he sat down on the chair. She felt the pain from her friend's bite. Yes, she knew it was painful because she had experienced it herself.

"That's what you get for coming here. You shouldn't have come." She blamed.

She was about to approach him when he signaled not to.

"Don't come near me, I am holding myself not to burst out and throw you out the window," he said gnashing his teeth.

She lough.

"I'll just look at your bite, you might get injured and get rabies, you'll die if it can't be treated immediately."

He suddenly turned pale. She secretly celebrated with delight. He maybe was so scared to death.

"S-say you're just kidding."

"Uh oh, I'm not joking," she said seriously.

His sitting position straightened. She came near him and looked over his shoulders. She looked at the bitten area, there was the bite mark and fortunately, it did not leave him a cut. Hmm, the scent. She was quickly taken aback. What has she done just now? Smelling his manly scent? How will it feel like when confined to this man's arms? She was secretly fascinated by that thought. Oh my goodness. No way. Erase, erase. She calmed herself, don't flirt Rine Lie. Don't you dare flirt!

"So, how is it?" he asked.

"We need to inject anti-rabies. "

"You've got to be kidding me!" he stood up looking worried.

"You wanna die?"

"Hell, no!"

" Then what's stopping you? Why afraid of the needle?"

"W-what, N-no!!!"

She smiled teasingly, this monkey is afraid of injection.

"And why are you stammering?" She whispered in his ear.

"Hmm, nervous?" she added.

She saw him stilled as if there is something he was holding for himself. Was it pain? She heard him moaned in pain. But there is something in herself that she can't give a name, different from the real situation. She shook her head. She's exaggerating things.

"Please, keep distance," Jude said like he is keeping himself at ease. Was the bite really painful?

She was about to turn her back when Jude hold her hand and grab her towards him.

She was not prepared for his action that she ends up sitting on his lap, her face was on his chest. Her heart suddenly raises a turbulent beating. She can also feel his rise and fall chest. Their heats combined with heartbeats in marathon act.

"What have you done to me?" she slowly whispered meanwhile.

"What have I done to you?" she asked back in confusion.

"I don't know, you made me this," he answered in his confused tone too.

"I-i made you...w-what?"

Then she immediately got triggered. She needs to escape from this.

"I can not take this anymore." he again whispered.

What is he saying?

"What are yo--"

Before she could utter any other words and take any movement, his lips suddenly landed hers. He brushes his lips towards hers. He kissed her tenderly and passionately. She was so shocked when he slid his tongue inside her mouth which gives her with tingling sensation feeling on her belly.

What is the meaning of this?

Gradually she closed her eyes tightly, she felt his hands grasp her waist and deepened their kisses even more.

He was kissing her with so much craving as if he was very thirsty for something he had never drunk before and now he got to have it. And when his tongue moved inside her mouth, her moan escape. She continued to moan when she felt him bite her lower lip. His tongue searched inside her teasingly waiting for a response. It was as if her tongue had a mind of its own to respond and imitate every movement of her tongue then they move together like an expert.

"Jude ....." she moaned as their lips parted slightly. But immediately his lips returned to hers.

This time she was kissing him back. She was responding to his kisses with the same intensity as his. They were kissing together. They were moving together.

Her arms were wrapped around his neck. They were kissing torridly which made her forgot everything around.

For a few more seconds they stopped kissing. Her arms were still wrapped around his neck while his arms were still tightly wrapped around her waist.

She pressed her face to his chest. She can't look at him while he is trying to calm himself. He's as if someone is in pain. She knew it, he is holding himself not to make things happen beyond kisses.

After a while, she let herself go from him. She fixes her clothing as she heard him sighed violently several times.

They were silent for a moment.

"Aren't you gonna punch me?" he cracked their silence.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because I kissed you?" he answered doubtfully.

As if you just kissed me for the first time? "

He looks guilty.

"No, but you know this is the most ....."

She was waiting for the next word but she heard nothing. She looked at him.

"Most what?"

".... intense," he said with dim eyes.

She felt her face had turned red. She turned and walked over to her table so he wouldn't see her face.

"Lie," he called.

She calmed herself before looking back at him. He was also seriously looking at her. What is this man really up to?

"Aren't you gonna say anything?"

"Like what?" She asks back not showing any interest in his verdict.

"Anything or you punch me for doing it, you're not you, I can see. It's not how you reacted every time I kissed you."

Yeah, she knew it too. But she doesn't know. She's Confused too. The way she responded to his kisses. There's a strange feeling built up inside her that she can't name. She holds her breath.

"I don't know" she uttered. She felt her knees shaking so she sat down at her swivel chair and move down her head on the table.

In a moment she sits up straight looking at Jude who's still eyeing her and observing her.

"Why?" she asked.

"What do you mean why?"

"Why are you doing this? why do you always kiss me? why are you here? you are not supposed to be here. Why are you making me confused? why are you always giving me goosebumps? why are you making my heartbeats erratically? why are you changing me and everything, why???, why???, why!!!!???" she outbursted. Her flesh was shaking. Her body is now uncontrollable.

She stood up and pushed the chair creating nice inside her office. She is getting too emotional.

He suddenly approached her and hugged her tightly. She wanted to slip out from his embrace wanting to stay away from him but he was stronger than her. She was already in tears. She began to sob as soon as she felt his warmth embracing her whole being. The feeling of relief is there. There is an assurance that as long he was there for her, there is no need to feel fear for everything.

He led her to the couch there and h made her sat down on his lap hugging her. They stay like it for several minutes. His hands caressed her back giving her strong assurance of security.

"Hush now baby, I don't want to see you cry, it hurts me seeing you crying." he utter.

"This is not me, this is not myself, the moment you bumped into my car, you captured me already, I was wondering why I can't even take my eyes out of you. I thought you were Dianne at first, but when I carried you to my car, the moment I touched you, you made me this already. The selfish man who loves freedom, the man who hates commitments, and the man who doesn't want a girlfriend was already gone." he began to explain himself.

She thought it would be better to listen to him. After her outburst, she felt weak all of the sudden. All her energy flooded away. But what is he saying?

"I know that we just met, we've only been together for a while, 3 days to be exact but what can I do? I don't want to pretend, and I don't want to keep this. I will explode if I will keep this. I have been thinking of you since day 1. I don't want to admit but I cannot hold it any longer. Baby, you've bewitched me that hard." he said looking earnestly at her.

"W-what do you mean?" she is confused by what he says at the same time she's getting nervous again.

"I love you, I love you so much."

Whaaattt???

She was shocked at his immediate confession.

She became speechless.

She is hesitating.

How can she believe him?

Will she believe him?

Can she open and trust her heart to him?
