17 Season 1 (CH17):

"Hey Ryan, nice purse." Allison said with a giggle as she walked over to him as he was making his way across the parking lot.

"Har Har. It is Lydia's she left it at my house last night." he said while shaking his head.

"Did she stay over?" Allison asked with a little hesitation in her voice as she spoke.

"Nope. We were hanging out yesterday and she left it there on accident, that is why I am bringing it in to her." He explained while pushing open the door to the school, the whole place was talking about last night.

There was another attack it was apparently a bus driver, Ryan didn't know the guy since he had never taken the bus before, at the moment they didn't know if he would make it. As he moved through the hall with Allison he could hear Scott, the kid was frantic about something, apparently he thought he was the cause of it and was looking for Allison.

He didn't know how the two of those matched up but it was none of his business in the first place, that is why he didn't stop the collision as him and Allison came around the corner. As the two collided Allison ended up dropping the things in her hand, rather then helping he let Scott do it since it seemed to relieve him since she was there his heart slowly calming down.

Ryan said nothing else as he walked away, he still needed to take this purse back to Lydia before class started, he had to walk all the way to her locker before he found her, she was standing there with Jackson. "Yo Lydia!" He said holding up the purse.

She smiled pulling away from Jackson and taking the purse from his hands, he smiled and looked over to Jackson who seemed to be doing his best to glare a hole into Ryan's head at that moment. Rolling his eyes he looked back at Lydia, "Thanks for the purse. We will see you at lunch right?" She asked while glancing at him.

"Don't you always." He said while walking away from her, he knew that they would text or something during school since they already talked about it. At the moment he just didn't want to be near Jackson, not that he was scared of the guy or anything like that.

He sighed while thinking this was going to be another boring day of school, he was really hoping that they would cancel with the attack and all but it seemed like they wouldn't, could this Alpha werewolf do anything right. Walking into his first period he went straight to a desk in the back and went to sleep, though he did check on his mom through the clones eyes, he didn't hear from her the night before and was making sure.

--------

Time passed and Ryan took a seat in the cafeteria, surprisingly he ended up sitting down near Scott and them, he didn't even notice it until his tray was already down and he was sitting. Being to lazy to move he just shrugged and continued to sit ignoring their eyes on him, it wasn't long before they were joined by Danny, some random, Allison, another random, and Jackson.

"Get up!" Jackson said with a glare while looking at him.

"Piss off." Ryan said back while biting into his apple, he wasn't going to move just because Jackson said so, he wasn't the one who told Lydia to take the seat that she did.

"You---" Jackson went to say but was stopped by Danny.

"Here man just take my seat. I will move down." Danny said with a little laugh while moving to sit on the other side of Allison. "So I hear they are saying it is some kind of animal attack, probably a Cougar."

"I heard a mountain Lion." Jackson said while looking over the table.

"A mountain lion is a cougar." Lydia said while looking up at him with her fork half way to her mouth, "Isn't it?" She said with a silly expression seeing that he was giving her a weird look.

"Who cares." He said rolling his eyes at her, "The guy is probably some homeless tweaker who's going to die anyway."

Ryan looked at him then Lydia, she caught his eye and smile slightly, he raised a brow while nodding his head towards Jackson saying everything with his eyes. She let out a little sigh before shrugging her shoulders, he knew that she wouldn't just be herself around them all.

He was hoping though that she would at least be normal around Allison, if she really wanted a true friend other then him she should start there. As for him he was glad that she would be normal when they were alone, he didn't want her to be fake around him, he found those type of people to be the most annoying.

He was brought out of his musings from Stiles, "Actually I just found out who it is. Check it out." He held out his phone for everyone to watch the video, Ryan ignored it kept eating his food, things that didn't effect him he never really paid attention to.

After the video was finished he could hear the discussions going on around him before Lydia stopped it, "Can we talk about something slightly more fun, please? Like, oh, Where are we going tomorrow night? You said you and Scott were hanging out tomorrow night, right?"

"Um, we were thinking of what we were gonna do." Allison said while looking apologetically to Scott who was listening to the conversation between the two, well the whole table was.

"Well, I am not sitting home again watching Lacrosse videos, so if the four of us are hanging out, we are doing something fun." Lydia said setting down her fork while looking between the other three who weren't looking so comfortable about her suggestion.

Ryan tuned out the conversation after that, at the moment his mom sent him a text letting him know she was off tomorrow, she had surgery at the moment so she couldn't talk long. He agreed and they planned to go bowling the next night, even with the curfew she could take him out since she was his mom.

"How about bowling? You love to bowl." Lydia said while looking over to Jackson who just didn't seem that into what was going on at that moment.

"Yeah with actual competition." Jackson scoffed looking at Scott.

Ryan rolled his eyes at the guy, he was way to conceited for his own good, he was glad that Allison said something to him since he was close to punching the guy. He watched as Scott not so confidently said he was a great bowler, Ryan had his doubts hearing it without looking at the guys face he didn't seem confident at all.

Lunch was coming to and end so he picked up his tray, "Well as interesting as this conversation was on bowling I am leaving. Lydia good to see you again. Allison catch you later. Danny always a pleasure as for the rest of you well goodbye."

"See you later Ryan." Lydia said her tone picking up being happier.

He waved while walking away, he sent his mom a message that she would be able to see later, he was just ironing out the plans for the night with her. He would also make sure to have something waiting for her when she got home, since he knew that she would sleep most the day away he was going to make sure she was at least well rested.

For the rest of the day he just went through the motions of class, he did get one project for science but other then that the rest of school was boring. Lydia did send him some messages about hanging out again, at the moment he was just trying to keep Allison alive.

His system hadn't given him any more mission since the last one, which he could kind of understand seeing how easy it was, so he wasn't expecting any. Plus he was still trying to keep Allison alive, which was in the form of stalking her at night he would watch her sometimes.

That was why he was okay with a bowling night with his mom, he would be near them when they were there.

He was also wondering if he should catch the alpha, he didn't know how his power stacked up against an alpha but from his clone being able to take on a beta it should be close. There was also the fact that he was a god with a bow, with those alone he should be fine, he was just glad his senses and reflexes were better thanks to being a high human.

"Hey Ryan, Wait up!" He heard Lydia call from behind him, looking back she was jogging over to him with a smile on her face.

"What's up girly?" He said pausing in front of the car.

"Hey, so I know that everyone got the biology project wanna hang out and do them together at my place?" She asked with a smile while standing in front of him.

"What about Jackson? Wouldn't you like to hang out with him and do it?" He asked looking at her with a raised brow.

She sighed shaking her head at him, "I don't feel like spending an entire week doing this, I know if I work around him that would happen. He is to much of an alpha male, me showing my actual smarts around him would just make things awkward with him being down."

He nodded, "Alright. I have to stop by my house and do something but after that I will meet you at your place and we can work on it."

She smiled happily, "Great. I will see you then text me when you show up." She skipped away happily humming.

He smiled at that before walking to his car.
