Season 1 (CH15):

"Alright let's go find something to do!" Lydia said slipping on her jacket with a smile as she looked over at Ryan who was comfortable at the moment on her bed. He honestly didn't want to get up and even threw her some puppy dog eyes, they didn't seem to work though as she just put her hands on her hips and looked at him expectantly.

"Fine. What is it that you want to try and do first, and remember... Real Lydia here, I don't want any of the fake things like you hiding your intelligence or any of that other stuff you do." He said while looking at her seriously.

"I know, I know. Well let's see," She tapped her full lips with a perfectly manicured finger and Ryan couldn't look away from the sight, she was just to beautiful at the moment, "How about that Drive-in that is shutting down, they have some older movies that are playing that I wouldn't mind seeing."

He nodded not really minding the suggest, there was one thing though, "What car should we take though, we will need one that is comfortable if we are going to be sitting in it for the next two hours."

"Well what are you driving? My Prius is not something we want to be in for that long." She said with a thoughtful expression.

"My mom's Volvo, though it is a SUV. We could park it reverse and let the seats down in the back, maybe take some blankets and make it comfortable in the back." He said as a thought, he didn't have any other ideas then just sitting there and watching the movie with her.

"Perfect. I will get the blankets from the hall closet. Go downstairs to the first door under the stairs, there should be some extra pillows there that we can use." She said with a smile while patting his shoulder and walking out the room.

He nodded following her instructions and went down the stairs, it didn't take him long to find the pillows, he took four so they both could have two to lean back on. As he grabbed the last on she came down the stairs arms full of blankets, Prada was right behind her skipping along.

"Alright mom I am leaving. I will be back later, I will call if I am not back in time for dinner." She called out as they were walking out the front door.

"No I want to watch BeetleJuice!" Ryan said as they were in line to buy tickets for the movies, there were five screens all separated by at least thirty yards apart from one another.

"Ugh that movie is so boring to me, why can't we just watch When Harry Met Sally, it is such a beautiful story. Not as good as the Notebook but it is up there." She said with a pout.

"Because you are forgetting that this isn't a date," He said with a smug smile, "I am not here to try and impress you and get into you pants."

She paused a moment thinking something over, looking around she watched the other cars for a moment before turning back to him. He already raised a brow wondering what she was up too, he didn't need to wait long though as the next second he felt his brain short circuit at what he saw.

It was no more then five seconds but she flashed him, those pale pink nipples once again haunting him, her body was smooth and toned without a blemish. Her giggles brought him back to the world of the living, in his hands were tickets to see When Harry Met Sally, they were also driving to screen Five to see it.

"When did we get the tickets? And when did I start driving over here?" He said with a furrowed brow.

She laughed outright hearing that, "Don't you remember?" She asked in a teasing voice, "All I did was flash you a little then asked could we see my movie, you agreed and pulled up to buy the tickets, then started driving us here."

Her laughs made him frown but his brain caught up and he remembered all of that, at the small sight of seeing her topless rendered him speechless and took away his functioning brain. "Damn it! I need to get a better mental strength." He complained as he parked somewhere.

"Please it was to easy. No you go get the snacks while I set up the back seat, get me Twizzlers, those are my favorites." She said with a smile getting out the car the same time that he was getting out.

Rolling his eyes he walked away while waving at her, he had to wait a moment in line to get the snacks before he made his way back over to the car. She already had the seats down and the door up so they could watch from the back, as he crawled in he nodded liking it, the covers offset the hard seats that were beneath them.

"So how is this going to help us get to know each other? Shouldn't we be talking to get to know one another?" He asked while taking some popcorn and popping it into his mouth.

"True, but you can also get to know someone seeing their choice of movies and how they react to them. Like how you chose what could be considered a tragedy/comedy movie earlier it helps me come up with who you are, not that we are watching it." She said with a triumphant smile.

He nodded agreeing a little but didn't ask her opinion about what she thought though he did say his, "Like your choice of 'When Harry Met Sally', you want something real. Although you are strong, smart and confident behind it all you want someone to love an accept you, someone who can be a friend but also that strong shoulder you can cry on.

If you were truly like you perceive yourself to be at school you might have chose something like Heather's. Not for the whole killing them thing, but you would have been one of the Heather's who died, then again you can choose Mean Girls and it would still be the same thing."

She looked over at him, though he couldn't tell what her gaze meant as she was watching him until she looked away, "You might be right about that. I haven't actually looked to far into my own self, I have spent to much time looking at others to try."

He didn't say anything back but leaned back to watch the movie, she didn't say anything either but watched on too, it wasn't until they met for the third time that something happened. It was showing the scene of them meeting again in the book store when she leaned over putting her head on his shoulder.

Ryan said nothing as he moved his left arm circling it around her waist pulling her closer, he didn't mind that she was leaning on him, she put a real good calming effect on him. He didn't try and compare the two girls again though, he didn't want to do that, they weren't the same at all.

While Allison was the new girl in town and someone he had been spending a lot of time with, Lydia was actually someone he was more familiar with. Not that before today he had spent more then ten minutes around the girl, well except for when he stal--- followed her to learn more about her when he got the system.

But because of that following he saw the side of her that most didn't, he saw all the things she kept hidden from everyone else, including Jackson who she was closest to. That is how he knew how smart she was, how when she focused on something that she would give it her all and be the best, and more importantly how thoughtful and caring she really was.

No she kept that all to herself, sometime around the beginning of Freshman year she decided to change herself, she became the queen bee and started dating the captain of the Lacrosse team. She was hiding behind a mask, he didn't know why but had some guess.

His biggest one was that she just wanted to fit in more, wanted people to see her as more of a diva, someone that all the other girls could look up to. It was another reason that she was looking for friends, the ones that were around her didn't know the real her.

It was probably the reason that she tried to bond with Allison so hard, she wanted a real friend who wouldn't judge her based on who she really was.

"Maybe you are right." She said out of nowhere when Harry was complaining after seeing his ex, "Maybe that is something I want, but it really is hard to find. Things aren't that easy though, people don't always want to see the real you, most of the time they prefer the mask that you put on."

He knew she was right, plus they were teenagers people who couldn't keep focus that long, well some could but it is hard to find those people, and more times then not they can't handle it either.

"True. Not that I am one to speak on these things, I have only dated one time in my life. Relationship's aren't something that am really good at." He admitted shrugging the shoulder that she wasn't leaning on.

"Really? You would think with someone with your looks would date more people." She said a little surprised as they both watch the relationship between the two main characters falling apart.

"That is the problem. Much like yourself, as we can both agree, you are very beautiful but that is the problem. People don't really want you for anything other then the beauty not the actual you, plus I am sure that if a girl found out what I really like it wouldn't be like that." He explained while drinking the last of his drink and setting it to the side.

She hummed while bobbing her head.
