Subject B28 and Subject B34 spend every waking minute in a hospital not to be cured but to be used as a research subject. The only good time is the hour they have once a week to read in the library for, 'mental health' since it has been proven to help the test subjects survive longer. Subject B28 spends all his time looking through the picture book of plants to see what the world outside is like. It gave him peace and hope away from the cruelty of the cement walls of the lab. It is then he is told that they will let him experience what it feels like to touch plants, all he has to do is volunteer to this experiment... Yet he knew those cruel scientists wouldn't be so kind... Subject B34 who has the same interests as him also joins in the experiment making the pair experience the same thing. So it is when they died together they were both given a second chance... A new world! After death, they get the chance to experience a completely different world. A world where dirt is everywhere and the forest is his backyard. Will the experiment subjects gain the peaceful life full of plants they so desired, or will the world around them force them to act differently?

Meeting New People II

"You have to at least say hi! How can you not at least say hello to the subjects of celbration!"

"Please at least let me finish my soup!" The boy paused as he didn't let his sister drag him as he reminisced about the soup, "That flavorful broth and filling ingredients was perfect!"

Unable to pull her brother further the girl pulled even harder on the boy's clothes while yelling, "Well it looks like they have plenty so! Let's! Get! Moving!" After tugging on him many times she eventually fell on her butt. "Ouch!"

Hearing his sister he woke up from his stupor and quickly kneeled down and helped her up, "Be careful now, if you get hurt who knows what punishment Dad will give me!"

The girl not to be outdone quickly starts yelling at him as soon as she is given the chance, "Well it is your fault to begin with! I hope Dad makes you harvest all the crops in one day! Then, then... You also have to do it Alone!"

Looking helpless the boy seemed used to it as he spoke, "Yes yes, I will get punished in due time, but why not focus on why you were dragging me?"

Seemingly having an eurika moment she raised her hand as if pointing to the sky, "Oh yes!" Quickly grabbing her brother's sleeve she kept dragging him to where the twins were at.

All of this was clearly heard and observed by the twins who had heard the girl's screeching. Aroura on the other hand was too distracted by Jason whittling that she hadn't taken her eyes off of him. The twins looked at each other talking with their eyes.

'Are these two crazy?' (Ambrose)

'I think so...' (Lily)

'Aren't they siblings? Why are they fighting?' (Ambrose)

'I think it is because of some prior disagreement. They probably aren't this rude to each other all the time... right?' (Lily)

'It must have been a pretty serious fight.' (Ambrose)

'Yeah.' (Lily)

Having already made up their mind about what happened between the two siblings who approached them, the twins prepared to greet them. The boy was clearly a few years older than them while the girl looked to be around a year younger.

"Alright!" After reaching the twins the girl finally let go of her brother's shirt as she turned to them and spoke in a calm voice, "Hello," She bowed to them before continuing, "My name is Lorena." After giving her a short introduction she elbowed her brother.

He followed suit, but didn't bow to the twins and only spoke casually, "Hello, my name is Alexis."

Lorena elbowed her brother yelling, "Hey! Why aren't you showing respect! Follow what Mom taught us!"

"Lorena... *sigh* That is only for people with higher status. These two will likely be like me who get tested and don't have enough magic talent so they are sent away and help their parents with the farm."

"HEY! You don't know that!"

Suddenly the introduction was cut short as the siblings began to argue with each other.

Looking at his sister, he saw her look to their father who was subtly watching them. Ambrose understood he needed to introduce himself and nodded before speaking.

"Hello?" Hearing him speak, the siblings paused their argument and looked at him with a blank look in their eyes. "Ummm..." Suddenly all of his courage disappeared as he stumbled over his words, "Well, umm... I... well... Ambrose... that is my name..."

Seeing her brother look down to the ground Lily started getting nervous as well, "Hello?" The siblings stayed silent as they turned their attention to her. Lily didn't have the courage and shifted closer to her brother as she found the strength to finish her introduction, "M-my name is Lily..."

The sibling's blank faces changed into questioning ones as Alexis spoke to his sister, "See! I told you they aren't above us in social class, so treat them as normal people!"

Lorena on the other hand glared at her brother and instead walked up to the twins and spoke to them instead of her brother, "Ignore my brother. He is an idiot."

"HEY!"

"You said you are Ambrose?"

Seeing this Ambrose shifted closer to his sister for a moment before he gained courage and spoke, "Y-yes I am Ambrose..."

"And you are Lily, right?"

Lily simply nodded as she watched Alexis speak while turning to leave, "I will finish my soup now that introductions are done."

Lorena ignored her brother as she focused on the nervous twins. Noticing they couldn't talk she started asking random questions about the food and environment. This helped loosen up the twins to talk.

Soon the twins were having their first full on conversation with someone that isn't family. Soon several others joined the conversation as they joined them. Mostly the younger children, but a few older ones.

"I am Kamil."

"My name is Samiya!"

"I am Samantha!"

"Name's Otheman, and I don't like it either so just call me Oath."

"I am Brie."

...

Soon nearly forty kids were all jumbled in a large group talking with each other. Before this didn't happen simply because everyone was either eating or talking with those who they already knew.

By that point, everyone had already lost track of most people's names as the names came out one after another. Neither Ambrose or Lily had the chance to be nervous now as they were forced to yell out their introduction to everyone who introduced themselves.

Only after an hour passed that the twins got a chance to breathe as several groups formed and separated. Some kids started to play hide and seek, others started playing a few card games that had been whittled on some wooden cards. Others played dominoes, and many more games, and separated groups.

Lorena was very popular as she had a large group of kids who all talked and grouped around her. The twins on the other hand didn't even remember anyone who didn't introduce themselves first.

Aroura on the other hand...

"It is done!"

"WOW! It looks so different!"
