1 I grew up.

When I was a little girl I grew up in the hood where violence and racism was a real thing. I grew up where black women and men had to sit in the back of a bus because we were to beautiful to sit at the front where racist beautiful white people could only sit. I grew up where black people couldn't walk into a shop without getting accused for steeling.I grew up where my momma couldn't even walk the streets without getting stared at. I grew up where I watched my own people get shot for looking at a white police officer. I am here to convince you to believe that Black Lives really do matter.
