1 Leaving

As I was walking towards the exit of the school I heard my name being called, I looked behind me and saw Adrian. For your information, my name is Lia Katelyn and currently in the last year highschool.

"Lia, can you come with me for a sec". he said and I followed quietly behind him. He took me behind a tree where no students could see us.

"Why are we here?". I asked since I was bewildered about his actions.

"I just need to tell you something". he replied full of sadness in his eyes like he was about to cry his heart out.

"What is it?". I asked with worry knowing it will be something bad.

His next words broke me into pieces and my heart suddenly tightened in an unusual way, and tears were suddenly wanting to come out as I was trying to stop myself from crying in front of him since it will make things harder for him and for me.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner..". he said as tears were starting to form more heavily in my eyes. We then bid each other goodbyes and he suddenly put me in between his arms for who knows how long that hug was, but that did not matter to me and both of us doesn't know when will be the next time we'll see each other.

A few weeks after he left the country I was heartbroken but decided to not think of it much so I won't cry over and over again, and instead of thinking of him I focused more on my studies which was the best decision i've made so far and it made everyone around me impressed by my grades and that went on until I was finally in my college years.

I was currently in the house without nothing to do so I went to the library to read my favorite books and to also study for my upcoming quiz.

I drove for a few minutes and finally arrived. As I was walking through aisle to aisle i bumped into someone. A tall figure was now standing in front of me with his headphones in his left hand and books in his right. I was hoping for him to at least ask for forgiveness but I guess some people have a stone cold heart and its very rare to actually find someone with a warm heart.

He then walked away in a hurry and I was left there dumbfounded. "What's with him?". I said to myself but then decided to just not mind what had happened and focus on the main reason why I'm here in the library.

Minutes have passed as I was studying for my quiz. And the more I read every paragraph the more I felt my stomach ask for food, So I took all my things and drove to a cafe everyone has been talking about and has been a big buzz on social media and its a good advantage for me since its near to the library.

I arrived and it had a surprisingly classy appearance from the outside. As I went inside I saw how elegant the interior is, it was interesting to see the little details, and how you could really see that they actually paid attention to everything, the biggest to the smallest details.

I finally found a peaceful and cozy spot and sat down to message mom that I would visit her today because it has been quite a while since we saw each other.

"Hello ma'am, would you like to order?". A woman said as she was standing next to me. I looked at her and saw how pretty she was and her beauty was exceedingly out of this world. How could someone be this pretty? But, I mean everybody's pretty and handsome but she was different and oddly familiar.

"Ma'am?". she asked confused.

"Oh I'm sorry, uh, I'll just get fruits please". I said being clearly bewildered, she looked almost like an exact copy of my old friend..
