Is it a dream or is this real?!

I was pretty tired.

I was stuck with a stupid company who paid me minimum wages. They kept pushing me to go faster, better, harder without any incentives.

"I'm risking my life for this shit!"

"It's a freaking pandemic and here I am waking up at 4:30am going to work during a lockdown for minimum wage."

They told me to be grateful, they can offer overtime.

I was not grateful. I needed a break.

Exhausted, I took a hot shower & climbed into bed. Looking at the ceiling I said to myself...

"I need to find a better job so I can get out of this rat hole. But I need a break. Thanks to this freaking Corona, I cant even quit cos everyone is unemployed and I'll be screwed when I want to get another job. Catch 22 huh..."

I sighed and closed my eyes.

My exhausted mind and body drifts off to sleep pretty easily these days.

"My only escape for a few hours..."

I slowly woke up opened my eyes in the morning.

"Weird... why was there no alarm?"

On the floor, I sat up and looked around.

"WTF Where the fuck am I?!"
