Chapter 9 her call

Julie's POV

it's been a few days and I've been living alone and I haven't called Mr. Alvaro.

I've been wanting to call him but I just don't know what to say

I will need someone to help me avenge mom and the only eligible person I can think of is Mr. Alvaro

should I call him or I should just continue living my life like this, if I don't the other woman and her child will keep on stepping on me

I think I should give it a shot

was still thinking when my phone rang

Dad?

heh speak of the devil here he comes

"hello"

"hello your sister will be having her birth day party in a Week's time and she wants you to be there make sure to look a little presentable when you come and don't be a disgrace to the family"

I haven't said if I'll be there or not when he hung up.

hypocrite I thought,

piked up the business card and called Mr. Alvaro after a few rings he picked up the call

"hello sir, please am I speaking with Mr. Alvaro?

"yes please"

"it's me Julie the girl from the other night"

"hello Julie how are you doing been waiting for your call"

"is the offer still on"?

I asked to be sure if he changed his mind

"the offer is only for you and yes it's still on"

"ok"

Morgan's POV

In the meeting room and was listening to Xavier's proposal I've been tossing my phone around in anticipation of her call

It's been five days and I am beginning to feel like she's not going to call me suddenly a phone rang and everyone looked in my direction

when I saw the call I told them to go for 5 minutes break

I took the call and heard a familiar but quite voice it was like the person on the other end of the phone is uncertain that's when she asked

"is the offer still on"

I just smiled and told her the offer is only for her

"I'll send someone over to come pick you up, so we can meet up and discuss personally"

" if that's ok by you"

"yes it's ok she said"
