chapter 4

Julie's POV

woke up hearing an unusual noise coming from the room

got up to see what is happening that's when I saw the stranger trying to get up from the bed

helped him up and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water

after feeding him water I decided to go make food for myself and him and myself

made a bowl of poridge soup and stir fried rice

kept some for him in the flask so it would be warm for him to eat later in the day

took the other to him in the room for him to eat fed him and went to prepare for work

would have loved to watch over him but I need money now than ever left a note on the bedside table along with the flask

took my bath dressed up and ran out for work.

Morgan's POV

I woke up and was feeling a bit dizzy from the stress of the previous day

The door opened and I saw a figure coming in it was a girl either in her mid twenties or early twenties

she came in and turned on the light and then left

she came back moments later with a glass of water in hand and fed me I didn't protest which was strange so I drank the water

she lay me down minding my wound and then left

I decided to act like I was asleep so I reduced my breathing

Then I hear noises from what seemed like kitchen utensils and the sweet scent that came into my nostrils was something else

I felt hungry all of a sudden but kept my cool

she came back into the room and left to the bathroom came out and hurried out

then I decided to end my charade

I opened my eyes and saw a bowl of poridge on the bedside table a flask and a note

" I'm off to work I'll be back before you know it"

the writing was bold and beautiful

couldn't help the smile that rose to my cheeks
