8 jujutsu high, jujutsu life

Shirou POV

It's been Three days since my encounter with Kenjaku and of course, I talked about it to Gojo as soon as I came back. He was quite shocked to say, turned out the man's ability to control cursed spirits and his overall appearance matched with someone he knew.

after that, he told me that he would investigate but even after two days he couldn't find the man, though he did find some traces of him.

Ultimately he had to relinquish the research to someone else, as he was a teacher right now, and one of his students in particular needed special training... Yuuji obviously, man couldn't even manipulate his own cursed energy after all.

So the strongest sorcerer just teleported into my room while we were talking manga and basically kidnapped Yuji before vanishing away... how discourteous... anyway.

Right now I am just chilling in my room while fiddling with my guitar. The only musical instrument I knew how to play, it was a present from my brother so I quite cherished it.

But looking at the time, I should get going or I wouldn't be able to have any fun with the other students. So I stopped using my cursed technique to lessen the weight of gravity on me so I could float and slowly descended on the ground before putting my guitar away.

I quickly put on my jujutsu Uniform and checked myself in the mirror, yeah, still handsome.

Taking along my phone and headphones, I headed toward the training ground. It didn't take me long to reach it, and I soon came to witness the scene of Panda sparing with Nobara while Maki, Toge, and Megumi looked from the side.

"Yo, did someone happen to see a handsome white-haired man passing by?" I asked as I approached, standing beside Toge.

"No, I don't remember seeing Gojo-sensei today." Maki said.

"Salmon!"

"Damn, Gojo-sensei is stealing my whole flow." I faked annoyance before looking toward our friend who speak the language of delicacy. "I knew it, Toge-san, you are the best." I dabbed him up.

"Sup Megumi?" He seemed to not react much.

"Nothing much." He shook his head before continuing. "It's just that watching Panda Sparing with Nobara reminds me of what happened that day. It pains me to say but we are awfully weak." As he spoke, Toge and Maki seemed to focus on him.

They heard of what happened that day from Megumi himself after all, and they could understand his sentiments, a special-grade cursed spirit was not something any of them could handle at the moment, well except me of course.

As I thought I felt their gazes deviate from Megumi and fall on me.

"Well, there is nothing much you can do about it, except train. truth be told I cannot even understand how you could be so weak Megumi, your cursed technique potential is only below a few others, but here you are." I spoke with a bit of annoyance, seriously, I may not have watched JJK much beyond the first season, but just by understanding the principle behind his technique, I could tell it was OP.

"For you, Megumi, the key to strength is your cursed technique, technique that you have still yet to master."

"Show-off." I ignored the truthful comment of Maki on the side.

"I understand..." He said before walking away, perhaps he is planning to heed my words? If so then it could only be good for him.

"Anyway, Maki-san, you up for a spar?" I looked at her before asking, I wanted to throw some hands without using my cursed technique.

"Bring it on, I was also starting to get bored." She answered before we walked some distance away from Toge and took our respective fighting stances.

Looking at Maki expertly holding a staff, I could tell that she mastered it not through martial all or anything but purely instinct and experience.

I, however, had some martial arts background, two to be precise. The first one was Taekwondo, which I learned in my past life. The second one was an alternate Karate style called Soryu Karate, and I learned it from my older brother.

Now the thing is, I am just as much an anime fan that I like showing off so after discovering that Soryu Karate quite resembled Akaza's fighting style from Demon Slayer I asked Great Sage to modify Soryu Karate so I could reproduce Akaza's style, and it worked quite well.

So greedy as I am, I tried to do the same with taekwondo and matched it with my memories of Mori Jin's and once again tasked Great Sage to recreate Renewal Taekwondo... and although it wasn't perfect, it did work in some capacity.

Why do you think In my previous fight... not that was not even a fight let's say altercation with Kenjaku I mainly relied on kicks?

Anyway recreating them was quite the easy part, the hard part was having to relearn everything from scratch so I could use them correctly, but after years of simulation through thought acceleration and also physical practice, here I was.

Back to the spar, I took the stance that would allow me to easily transition between the two fighting styles.

'Great stage, sauf outside interference, do not activate the cancelation barrier.'

[Confirmed, order registered.]

'Great now let's get physical.' I locked eyes with her for a moment, signaling the start of the duel.

We moved at the same time, but since she had a longer reach with her staff, her swing easily entered my range first.

Reinforcing my body with cursed energy I easily deflected it with a backhand block and kept trying to get into range, she was no rooky though so she just as easily redirected the staff by briefly spinning it and attacking my legs.

I calculated that I could use that occasion, so I switched styles, and by jumping way above necessary to dodge her attack, counter-attacked with a spinning kick of my own directed at her head.

Renewal Taekwondo-Hwechook.

She managed to move fast enough to dodge by crouching down and followed up with an upward swing of her staff. I was in no position to dodge, but I didn't need to.

I corrected my position in the air at the best of my ability before catching her staff by pumping more energy into my arm and grabbing it.

Now, by using the staff I could recenter myself and follow at my turn with another attack.

I twisted my body to execute a reverse downward kick, once again toward her head, which prompted her to let go of the staff to protect her head with her hands.

Due to me losing my support, my kick lost some strength, but it still connected, making her grit her teeth due to the shock.

But she was quick to reciprocate by grabbing my still-connected feet and trying to slam me into the ground.

It was all for naught though as I was able to stop myself by putting forth my hands to handle the shock, then I freed myself by kicking her stomach with my other leg.

The pain made her stumble back and release me at the same time.

I stood back up and grabbed the staff that was now by my side, I spun it around to familiarise myself with it while she recovered.

Then I held it vertically and abruptly slamming the lower end onto the ground.

"Tired already?" I asked with a provocating smirk.

"You wish." She assumed another stance, and now the roles were reversed, I was the one holding the weapon and she had to make do with her body.

Only if that staff could elongate itself and grow heavier... Oh well, you can't have everything.

I moved first and went with a frontal assault on the staff, targeting her chest. She sidestepped and took hold of it.

Maybe she thought that I didn't know how to use it so she could somehow get it back. If that was the case, she would be very right.

She tried to yank it out of my hand in a contest of force. What she did not expect though was me deliberately letting go of it, which destabilised her for a moment.

A moment that was enough for me, so I used it, I channeled a high amount of energy into my leg and released it through the sole of my feet in a burst which propelled me forward at high speed.

I needed the momentum created by that action to use my next technique for the best effect.

*Renewal Taekwondo- 3rd Stance Hwechook.*

I seemed to blur as I consecutively delivered two measured spinning kicks at the sides of her head to shake her brain a little bit, I finished with a final one at the front.

It was done at such speed and with such mastery it seemed that the three kicks had been delivered at the same time.

Appearing behind her, I turned around to say. "Well, that should be about it."

"What are-" Maki as going to rebuke his seemingly nonsensical statement, one thing she believed in was her durability, and his kicks didn't contain enough strength to really put her out.

But she couldn't say much before starting to fall to the ground, unconscious.

"Ho, careful here." Shirou was able to catch her of course since he was expecting it.

His technique just now was not just a strength-based one, it was more than that, its goal was not to injure but to shake the brain of the opponent just enough to put her to sleep.

This one was really hard for him to learn, the hardest part was to not injure his opponent. As they say, killing is always easier than capturing.

...

End.

You may ask, where is this story going?

The answer is somewhere, just wait and see.

Also, this may be a wish fulfillment kind but... it's not entirely, we will try to keep the spirit of JJK alive, even if a little bit, in other words: people are going die.

The MC is not invincible, he is way more vulnerable than he thinks since he doesn't know the existence of stuff like domain amplification and the like.

He can also be sealed.

Y'all are going to be really surprised by future devellopments.

The love interest has not been chosen.

His fighting style will revolve around those martial arts and his Cursed Technique.

There will be bromance.

And finally, I would like to say: I HATE FRAUDKUNA. (but he is still important in the story so can do none about it.)
