3 Cursed womb

"Good job guys, You did well." Gojo clapped as he felicitated with a smile.

"With all of that taken care of, let's go eat something. My treat." He proposed in the same breath.

"Beef-stake." Yuji proposed.

"Sushi." That was Nobara.

"KFC." Shirou's proposal was unexpected.

"Hooo yeah, that!" Yuji changed his mind real quick.

"You do have good tastes after all, at least in food." Nobara nodded at her own words.

"..." And she was just ignored again.

"Then it's settled! It's chicken for everyone."

Then they went to eat and Shirou had to admit they were quite an entertaining bunch. The way their personality meshed and clashed was rather magnificent to see.

It was one thing to see it behind a screen but experiencing it himself gave him a whole new feeling about it.

"Thanks." After being shown his new room within the campus by Megumi because Gojo bailed out last minute, Shirou expressed his gratitude to the young man.

"It's nothing." Megumin brushed it off and started walking away.

Standing in his room, He took off the headphone from his neck and put them aside before starting to rearrange his room. His brother already got his stuff sent here so, he was almost already set.

"Speaking of brother, I forgot to give his greeting to Gojo..." Thinking about it a little more he just shrugged and pushed it aside.

"That should be it." He nodded, satisfied with his work before elongating himself on the mattress and starting to read some manga as per his habit, his trusted guitar beside the bed.

...

three days or so after, Shirou had already adapted to his life in this new environment that's jujutsu high. From going to class and listening to Gojo ranting or sharing some of his experience as a jujutsu sorcerer.

He also sparred a bit with his classmate and in the process became closer with them somewhat.

Normally at this hour of the day, he would be exercising physically and then practicing his cursed energy manipulation.

There were just too many practical uses for being physically strong and fit, it was not just physical but also mental.

"A man should properly take care of his own body." That was something his brother used to say all the time, you never know when being a little bit stronger or a little bit more resilient would become the crux of winning a fight... even for someone with a cursed technique like Shirou or Gojo's.

As for his cursed energy manipulation training? Shirou was quite ashamed to say that he was still not as good as he wanted to be.

Sure he had a strong cursed technique, sure he found some unique way to use it, sure he already had a [cursed technique lapse], but he still couldn't figure out many things.

Gojo said in the anime that to be good at using cursed energy you had to be good at subtraction.

Shirou was confident enough to say that with his supercomputer-like brain, not many being could hope to match him in calculation... His whole ability was almost entirely based on it after all.

But even then he still couldn't figure out how to use the reverse cursed technique, nor had he mastered domain expansion... Even with the help of [great sage], it proved to be arduous.

The thing is, domain extension is a personal technique, unique to all beings, even two people with the same cursed technique would have different domains as they come from the mind and soul.

Shirou with the help of the great sage could undoubtedly create a good domain, but that's it, it would just be "good". What he wanted was something more, something greater.

Something at the level or superior to Gojo and Sukuna's Domain. A domain that would spill your doom the moment you step into it without any defense. The ultimate domain to speak.

For that, he needed time, a really long time, he had to imagine and calculate everything, every single variable, every single grain of sand that would constitute this domain.

See why it was so hard? Then again, some may ask, why bother? Why not just go with something simpler?

The answer was, that Shirou Yusa was neither an underachiever nor a normie, he was more, he was greater, thus he would also achieve the greatest domain.

'But I digress that is not relevant right now.' He pulled himself back together as he listened to the man explaining about the cursed womb that suddenly manifested in the Eishuu Reform school, which was also Yuji's previous school.

To put it simply, the plot is really starting.

"The cursed spirit inside that school is a high-grade one. To put it simply, I doubt any of you could potentially hope to exorcise it." He adjusted his glasses.

"Fortunately, nobody really expects you to do so. This is a rescue mission, go inside and tour the lieu, look for and evacuate any civilian that has been trapped inside and escape as quickly as you can." He gave the instruction.

"And if we were to meet the cursed spirit inside?" Yuji asked, he was not fearful but he would lie if he said he wasn't anxious.

"Then there are only two possible options... run or die." The older man said without a single change in his expression.

But the surrounding mood turned somber as silence reigned for a moment. They may be ready to confront it, but nobody was really truly prepared to die.

"E-Excuse me." The voice of a woman prompted everybody to look in a certain direction.

There they could see a middle-aged woman quickly closing in on them while a man in a suit hurriedly followed her in an attempt to stop her.

"Is Tadashi... is my son okay?" She worriedly asked.

"...!" At that moment Yuji's eyes opened slightly before calming down. All previous uncertainty and anxiety he previously felt disappeared as sand castles washed away by the sea.

His gaze was set, his mind focused, and only determination remained. There was no if, he was going to save the son of that woman, that he promised to himself.

Nobara felt building impatience within herself, she wanted to save that poor kid. She couldn't imagine how worried that poor woman could possibly be.

Megumi's expression didn't change that much, instead, he just closed his eyes for moment before reopening them.

"Depending on the person there is a chance the poison has already spread. At present, we can't offer any more information." The vice director sighed regretfully as he said.

"This... can't be." The woman's voice was shaking as tears started to flow out. Eventually, she was escorted away.

"Fushigoro, Kusagaki, Yusa." Yuji interpellated with his back facing them.

"We are going to save them." He declared, with no doubt in his voice

"Of course." Nobara responded.

"..." Megumi kept silent.

As for Shirou? Although nothing could be deduced from his behavior. He was the first to take action unbeknown to everyone. But he had no illusion, he already knew the situation from the anime.

The loss of life he could have prevented? To be honest he didn't really care that much about others, he was no hero of justice, nor was he a villain. He was simply just a man with his own principle.

"You are late, I am already done inspecting the building. Let's go." Nonetheless, he still did what he did, and he did it not for himself but for Yuji ad the others, and if they were to save more people as a result. Good but that was all.

"Hoo!!! Shirou, I knew I could count on you." Yuji exclaimed as he followed behind Shirou, rather optimist.

"Dependable much." Nobara smiled as she followed as well along with the silent Megumi.

"Wait, I have to deploy the curtain." The vice director reached for them with his hand.

"Already done." As Shirou, said that sky started darkening as an ink-like substance started spreading around, covering the whole area.

"Ah..." The vice director stopped moving as the curtain closed before him, blocking him from going further.

"Good luck then, I guess." The middle-aged man said as he retreated back.
