7 An Interesting Meeting

From behind the curtains, a man with black hair and a large scar covering his forehead walked out... not instead of a scar it would be more appropriate to say an incision covered by stitches.

"Oya? You are a sensitive one aren't you?" The man spoke with somewhat of an intrigued voice, even his expression was full of curiosity for someone who could read it.

"Sensitive? I can't say that's a term I like, I would cry if a woman called me that." Shirou spoke with just as much amusement, though the other man didn't know it, Shirou already knew him from the anime.

"But let's get too familiar with each other, who are you?" Shirou asked as he tilted his head, acting oblivious.

The only reason he didn't attack Kenjaku straight away and give him a taste of those hands is because he wasn't sure whatever he would be able to win cause if the man had a domain... which was probably the case, he for sure was sure to lose.

"Well, now you see me sad, I for one was eager to get to... know you. Never mind, my name is not really worth mentioning now, you will get to know it sooner or later anyway." He spoke cryptically trying to pass off as something of a third-rate villain.

"Is that so?" Shirou asked seemingly losing much of his curiosity before asking another question.  "Then let me reiterate, what do you want?"

"What I want... I told you already, to get to know you. Let me ask you, how would you react if you started a game of chess with a friend of yours, after introducing all the pawns that would be used in the game and coming up with an adequate strategy, just after the game started, an unknown piece from God knows where just fall on the board and ruin all your plans?" He asked as if he was really talking about nothing but chess.

"An interesting analogy you got here... but I am not sure I like what I am hearing." Shirou asked, emanating hostility, acting as if he caught on, to what the man wanted to say.

"To dare qualify me as a mere pawn? How revolting." Shirou spoke, his pride had been wounded... And someone had to pay for it.

"Pray forgive me, I didn't mean it as an insult. I also didn't come here to fight, just to discuss.  In addition as a jujutsu sorcerer, I doubt you'd want to fight me here, although it's quite recluse, if we were to clash, casualty couldn't be avoided."

Kenjaku was sincere he indeed didn't come to fight, merely to test the water to change his plan in consequence to the introduction of a new pawn or player. Who knows? It was going to just be that more interesting for him anyway.

But what he didn't consider was, although Shirou was not your everyday Teen, although he would try to avoid casualties if possible, he also was one to not take one lying down.

"Ho, believe me, I will make sure that doesn't happen." To Kenjaku's surprise, the voice came from behind him.

He was shocked but he was also experienced thus he didn't let that shock get the best of him. He quickly turned around and backed away from the source of the voice while sending there dozens of serpentine-like cursed spirits, but as they ripped through the figure he saw, it just seemed to dissipate away.

'Something ain't right.' Kenjaku thought as his instincts gave him a warning.

"Who are you even attacking?" This time the voice came from his side.

He just had to time to reinforce his body with cursed energy before a kick connected to his chin at such speed it left another afterimage behind.

Once again amping his velocity with his cursed technique, Shirou kicked the ground taking off toward the still-flying kenjaku who was somehow able to recompose himself.

This time, he kept his concentration at 100% he was able to see Shirou move,  even if barely. Facing the incoming Shirou, Kenjaku knew he didn't have time to attack and defend at the same time it was either one or the other.

But as they say, the best defense is offense, thus he summoned a folk of flying cursed spirits and made the attack Shirou. He believed the man couldn't dodge in the air.

Seeing this, Shirou grinned, before pulling off a feat, that would leave anyone in shock, He solidified the air beneath his feet before stepping on it to dodge horizontally.

"How?" Kenjaku was once again at a loss for words, but he didn't forget his situation, so he used the time Shirou used to dodge to summon a much bigger flying curse spirit that he stood on. At the same time, he commended the others to follow after Shirou.

What he didn't know was that when he dodged Shirou intentionally slowed down so he could let down his guard an instant believing that he could use that opportunity to do something like they tend to in animes and stuff... easy to say he was not disappointed.

Seeing Kenjaku give right to his prediction and the rapidly approaching cursed spirits toward himself. He Increased his speed even more by channeling a higher quantity of cursed energy in his cursed technique.

One moment he was there ready to be torn apart by cursed spirits, another moment, a knee connected to Kenjaku's chin... again, sending him flying even higher, the shockwave generated by the attack itself was enough to destroy the cursed spirit he was standing on.

'Damn, what's even happening.' Kenjaku felt his brain tremble in his skull... making him feel dizzy. Like, what level of speed was this? Insane, that guy seemed to be faster than lightning.

He tried to use the reverse cursed technique to heal his broken jaw and forcefully get rid of the dizziness.

"Ho no, I am not done with you yet." He above Kenjaku as he said, having already calculated his trajectory and speed, Shirou positioned himself just right, and as Kenjaku reached him, he was going to connect the Rasengan within his right hand to Kenjaku's stomach.

"No nevermind, I am." As he saw Kenjaku about to get serious, he rapidly fled... as quickly and as far as he could.

And just seconds after he did, watching from a little far away, Shirou felt a burst of cursed energy, and by improving his sight via cursed energy he saw something that made him shed some sweat.

"He really has access to a domain... Fortunately, I didn't get caught in it." He sighed in relief, to be honest, what he did was not necessary he could have just stopped at the talk. But he was curious of the man's strength.

He wanted to see how he compared to Gojo and Sukuna since he was also very much an antagonist.

Well, now he knew, that unless he was able to kill him rapidly before he used his domain, He had no chance against Kenjaku, and that was valid for any other domain user too.

"What a drag." Those were the words he left behind before going back to jujutsu high, better inform the others about that so they can prepare or something.

He also had to take care of his injured body, moving at such high speed wasn't really easy for his body to take, even while protecting it with cursed energy.

While inside the Open domain that was Kenjaku's, after healing himself via RCT, he saw that the teen escaped before he activated his domains, he probably predicted he was going to do exactly that.

"Well, pretty humiliating wasn't it?" He talked to himself with a chulch. "At least I was able to accomplish my goal." He already got the information he wanted and confirmed what he wanted to confirm.

'He is indeed strong, and his cursed technique... I don't even want to talk about it. But a single "domain expansion" is all it would take to get rid of him.'

As for what is to catch him within a domain, that's another matter altogether, the kid was extremely sensitive and fast... but still, there is always a way.

Dismissing his domain, Kenjaku started walking off somewhere, he had no injury but his clothes were damaged and his hair disheveled, so he looked a rather haggard.
