At the very beginning, upon feeling the Curse Energy for the first time, Hiroyuki thought that Cruse Energy in general, worked the same way as his Aura did back then in his past life. Simply because CE possesses some similar traits and nature to Aura.

However, it seems that this wasn't the case at all.

Curse Energy, as Senjumaru explained to him, works and acts differently from person to person. In fact, in most cases, Jujutusu Sorcerers uses it to identify someone's identity, like a fingerprint or some sort.

It's very unique. 

Meaning, that in Hiroyuki's case, his initial description of Curse Energy, is just an understanding from his own CE. And after Senjumaru gave him a quick lesson about CEs, he finally realized that CE in general, doesn't work the same as his.

The fluidity and basically the general nature of his CE turns out to be a thing that is only unique to him. Strangely unique that is.

Or at least, that's Senjumaru's opinion after watching Hiroyuki manipulate his Curse Energy many times now in front of her.

(Trivia: Nature of CE is like the general behavior of one's CE. For example, Kashimo's is electric or static, Hakari's is rough, Yuta's is described as sinister, and so on.)

Now to explain the nature of Hiroyuki's Curse Energy in a few words, then it is, fluid, very fluid, almost like water already.

Apart from that, there's one more noticeable thing on Hiroyuki's CE. It's the fact that it acts very tamed... weirdly so.

Now if one were to ask an average sorcerer to describe what CE is in one word, then they would most likely say that it's simply 'volatile'. And that just makes sense for everyone because CE originates from negative emotions such as despair, anger, etc. 

Curse Techniques are referenced as Electric Appliances and Curse Energy being the electricity itself for a reason. Because one wrong handle of it, it would most likely turn against you. That's why Hiroyuki's CE being described as tamed would be indeed weird for others to see. 

But, that doesn't mean that it's tamed for everyone. It just acts that way to Hiroyuki. For others, it just treats everyone like how it is normally, aggressively. Like a cat that only lets its human touch its belly, and scratches others if they did so.

In any case, the most important thing is the fact that thanks to this weird nature of his CE, Hiroyuki, from the very get-go, managed to immediately acquire such high-level Curse Energy Manipulation due to its similarities to Aura.

However, as experienced as he is when it comes to manipulating his CE, that wouldn't be enough, unfortunately. In battles between Curses and Jujutsu Sorcerers, many other things that could determine the outcome come into play as well, one's level in CEM is just one part of it.

In short, when it comes to theory and understanding of the inner workings of CE, he is still lacking so much. Thankfully, Senjumaru can provide that for him. 

But, before he goes deep into all those complicated stuff, he must do something first. A 'Thing' that, based on his current situation, he deems that he needs the most. 

In Hiroyuki's past life, given how versatile Aura is, he possessed a myriad of techniques and combat arts that came and was developed from various sources. 

Unfortunately, even though his Curse Energy possesses a heavy resemblance to the Aura, the majority of those techniques cannot be brought or at least replicated in the current reality.

That's mostly because the quality of CE in general, is so low compared to Aura. It's like trying to replace Water with Beer, it simply wouldn't work and might be harmful even. Unless he pumps an ungodly amount of CE into it that is.

Thankfully, there's a way to solve this problem... kinda. 

It's an Aura technique that Hiroyuki called, Core Reformation. And based on its name alone, one could surely know what it is about already.

So to make the long explanation much shorter, this technique works by condensing the aura in the user's brain, which in the process, an Aura core will be made. That very core will then serve as the regulator for the User's entire Aura, making the usage of it easier and less taxing.

The very reason why the Aura is so efficient and refined compared to CE in the first place. It's because of this very technique. 

Unfortunately, there's one tiny critical problem.

When MC got the Aura as his power back then, it seems that he also had a body fit for such power, hence why he managed to do such a ridiculous process with little to no problem. But now, not only he doesn't have that same power, he doesn't have that body anymore as well.

If he decides to do it anyway with his current body and with CE, forget forming a core, he will most likely end up as a vegetable. Messing with the brain is not the best idea, especially in this world, no.

At least, that's what Senjumaru advised.

So in short, he cannot do the Core Reformation the same way he did in the past. Fortunately, Hiroyuki is creative enough to think of a solution. Cause, just after one quick brainstorm, he managed to come up with an alternative route.

To put it in simpler terms. He decided to not make a core anymore, instead, he will just make his heart into one instead. 

A pretty bold move, one might say. Especially since it involves messing with probably one of the most important organs in one's body. 

But, despite the slight difference, he has already done this before. That, paired with his impressive Control over his Curse Energy, he is confident that he could do this with no problem at all.

If no external problem came up midway through the operation that is.

Since the thing that Hiroyuki was about to do is very sensitive, even a slight problem can cause a pretty critical issue for him. That's why before proceeding with it, they made some preparations to avoid those at all costs.

They couldn't do much actually since they were in a pretty tight spot, but they managed to slightly divert the attention away from them, most likely enough for the thing they were planning to do.

It's actually impressive how they managed to do it, it's all thanks to the current situation within the clan, a situation that is caused by Hiroyuki's mother and his newborn brother.

All they had to do was simply ride that chaos.

But it wouldn't last long. Sooner or later, the clan would raise its entire security to its maximum due to this very reason. At that time, Hiroyuki would again be eyed in every direction by lots of people.

He can already tell.

So they had to start as soon as possible and need to be done before that happens. That's why after spending a couple of hours, making sure that the vicinity was clear, and all things were prepared, Hiroyuki decided to finally put things in motion.

*Thud~*

"So... I'll leave it up to you." Hiroyuki said as he entered his room and then quickly sat in a certain corner.

"Yes, don't worry." Senjumaru calmly said with a nod as she proceeded to lock the door.

"Alright."

After that, Hiroyuki reached out to a nearby drawer, took out a metallic box, and then took what was inside that box.

*SQUEEK!*

The thing that he just took out was something that looked like a Bug. Specifically a curse bug, that's why its appearance is pretty weird. 

But, despite its appearance... 

"Here goes nothing..."

*gulp*

Hiroyuki swallowed it with no hesitation at all.

For a quick context, what he just swallowed is a special curse bug, a bug that most Jujutsu sorcerers ingest inside of their body whenever they go for long-term missions so they don't have to eat or sh*t. 

Hiroyuki had to do this because he didn't know how this entire thing would go on. If it took more than what was expected, he could not just stop the entire process to take a break or whatever.

But thanks to the bug, he doesn't have to worry about that anymore.

Now, with all that done, all that's left... is to finally start. That's why, after taking one last deep breath. 

"... Here I go."

*VWOOOOO~*

Waves of curse energy started surging out of his body. It didn't even take a second before the entire room was almost engulfed.

At this rate, the Higher Ups and the Elders of the clan that was just on the other side of the house would surely take notice of this. There's no way they would miss such a sudden surge of CE nearby.

At least, that's how it is supposed to be, but weirdly enough, given the current happening, not a single Curse Energy leaked outside the room.

The reason for it?

*flutter*

It was the massive and colorful curtains that immediately surrounded the entire room, catching and preventing the waves of Curse Energy from passing through the walls.

"Good thing that I'm pretty swift at my work." Senjumaru gracefully said as she locked the curtains in place, securing the entire room from any leakage.

And with that, their little secret operation has been initiated.
