8 Chapter 8

AN: Long words such as Curse Energy and Heavenly Restriction will be shortened cause it's annoying to type.

Compared to the normal children that are born within the Gojo Clan, Hiroyuki, from the very moment he was born in this world, already possessed an eye-catching amount of Curse Energy. Even the Elders at that time were shocked and even described the amount as incomparable to anyone within the clan.

Though, as impressive as it is, sadly, it isn't unheard of. From time to time, people who are destined to be great sorcerers in the future, are also born in this world blessed by Curse Energy. That's why at that time, nobody, even Hiroyuki himself, thought much about it.

It's just enough to gather attention and put him in his current position within the Clan.

Up until now, that is. Cause the moment Hiroyuki decided to finally focus on developing his overall strength and power, his Curse Energy was bound to be stimulated and exhausted more than ever before in his entire current life. And after a few days of doing so, he was finally made aware of a couple of weird things about the nature of his own Curse Energy.

Actually, It was Senjumaru who noticed it because, in the first place, Hiroyuki doesn't have this world's common sense when it comes to Curse-related stuff. At least not yet. Currently, he's still a 6-year-old kid. Apart from the basic stuff, he wasn't deeply educated yet about the world of curses.

In any case, one of the few things that Senjumaru noticed after Hiroyuki exhausted his entire pool of CE from time to time, is the fact that his CE tends to replenish at a much slower rate. Like, if it takes 100 seconds for your average sorcerer to replenish his or her CE pool from empty to full, then Hiroyuki would then take around 250 seconds.

It's that slow. Which is very weird, at least for Senjumaru that is, because according to her other weird knowledge of the world, this is not normal. That's why after making such fact known to Hiroyuki, both of them immediately agreed to focus their attention first on his CE.

And it took them another few days to finally come up with answers as to why Hiroyuki's curse energy acts the way it does. 

Their conclusion... is that Hiroyuki possesses a Heavenly Restriction. 

To make the long explanation short and much simpler, Heavenly Restriction is basically a binding vow forced to happen at the moment of someone's birth. It's like fate itself is the one who placed it on you.

Now when it comes to the effects of the Heavenly Restriction when placed on oneself, well, It can range from a much stronger body in exchange for lesser curse energy, vice versa, or something completely different. It greatly varies, really.

In Hiroyuki's case, on the other hand, his Heavenly Restriction is most likely... In exchange for having a fairly large amount of CE pool, the recovery of his CE will be slowed down. At least, that's the most plausible idea based on their observations.

Which, is pretty unfair, at least that's Hiroyuki's initial reaction the moment he heard this.

Judging by the current situation, it doesn't take that much to realize that, this fact would be nothing but a massive hindrance to his growth. For Hiroyuki, this trade is simply a loss for his side. The advantage it offers is greatly outweighed by its disadvantages.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how one sees it, it seems that it doesn't end there. 

Because other than that fact, his Heavenly Restriction seems to have one more additional quirk to it. And that is... whenever it was made known to others who had no idea that he possessed such Heavenly Restriction, his CE pool would ultimately expand once again.

He managed to find out such a THING, because the moment he himself, was made aware of his Heavenly Restriction, his CE pool suddenly expanded, which surprised both him and Senjumaru when it happened. 

Obviously, that being a feature of his HR is not their first assumption.

But after another day of experimenting around it, they are finally sure of it. They even found that this only works if the other person completely understands how his HR works, so a half-assed explanation wouldn't cut it, especially to a person who doesn't have any idea about curse-related stuff in the first place.

In any case, for now, Hiroyuki decided to not spread this fact even though it had such an amazing effect. Cause just from a couple of people, being made aware of his HR, his entire CE pool expanded by at least 45 percent already.

Imagine if the entire clan, where hundreds of people live, was made known of it. Hiroyuki's CE pool would then rise up to a pretty unimaginable quantity.

But that's where the problem comes up, if that were to happen, the eyes that Hiroyuki would catch would just be as unimaginable. One of the major reasons why both Senjumaru and Hiroyuki agreed to the idea that they should not spread this information, not until they establish themselves that is.

Other than that, there's also the fact that his Heavenly Restriction seems like Santa that keeps on giving. 

As Senjumaru said, the World itself will do whatever it takes to make everything as balanced as possible. Terrifyingly so. That's why when Hiroyuki thought that his HR was pretty unfair, something good came up to balance it out.

But, as of now, everything is just good. Suspiciously too good. That shouldn't be the case, that's what Hiroyuki thought, and that's why he immediately tried to find out what's the catch this time. 

And it didn't even take him that long to finally find what it was.

Every time someone new was made aware of his Heavenly Restriction, his CE pool would be increased. But apparently, that's not the only thing that's increased. Cause at the same time, the recovery of his CE would also increase. 

Increasingly slower that is.

Now to summarize it all, this and the fact that Hiroyuki doesn't want overwhelming attention are the main reasons why this must not be known to others, at least not yet if possible.

Especially now that Hiroyuki currently trains and exhausts his CE pool a lot. Making its recovery rate much slower than it is currently is the last thing he would want.

Unfortunately, the moment he was made aware of all these facts, they already did something that could potentially ruin all this.

Because to get and confirm all the information they have now, they had no choice but to get other people's help. In short, currently, a total of three maids have been made aware of Hiroyuki's Heavenly Restriction.

Obviously, Hiroyuki immediately asks those maids to stay quiet about their little experiment. But, he isn't naive enough to actually believe that they will zip it all up until they die even though he knows that they have a clean background and are genuinely good people.

Threatening them is also out of the question cause, who would be scared of a 6-year-old kid? Well, he can show his powers and scare them, that could probably work, but more information and questions about him will surely arise. And he doesn't want that.

Besides, he's quite close to those maids. So much so that to say that he has been with those very maids even more so than his Mother is not that far really. That's the reason why he doesn't want to treat them quite roughly and subject them to some weird thing over a mistake he himself caused in the first place.

So to make matters short, unless Hiroyuki kills those three, which would not happen at all, there's no guarantee to silence them. 

(AN: I know that Binding Vow exists. And I know that he can just use that here. But there's a reason why he didn't do that here, and it will be explained in the later chapters. )

Pieces of information about him are bound to leak soon.

That's why Hiroyuki had no choice but to... that's right, hasten his plans once again. Well, that's pretty much the theme of his current life so he's used to it now.

In any case, it's not like he needed to wait any longer since he can finally do the 'thing' already anyway.

Originally, he was planning to do the 'thing' after one more year since he doesn't have enough CE energy yet to perform it. But thanks to his CE pool suddenly increasing due to his HR, he finally has more than enough now.

That's why Hiroyuki, with Senjumaru's help, after making one quick preparation, didn't waste any more time and finally started...
