1 The possibilities

In a world full of sorcerers there is always a superior sorcerer everyone looks up to and a forgotten one that everyone looks down upon and wants no part of that person's existence. In 1989 the Gojo clan brought twin boys into this world of the supernatural, the firstborn was named Gabimaru and he brought tears into everyone's eyes when he was delivered. Mr.Gojo held Gabimaru tight into his arms but as soon as the second baby was coming out of the womb an enormous amount of curse energy came out and psychically shocked everyone within the area and it felt like they were in a timeless zone unable to move or think. The soon-to-be-forgotten son Gabimaru was dropped on the floor and everyone was focusing on the future strongest sorcerer they had seen in their lifetime.

*Time skip 10 years later*

Gabimaru pov

(It's been almost 10 years of abandonment I've endured from this clan. Ever since the Gojo clan took the Saito clan's spot as the three big families of sorcerers, the Gojo clan's top priority is keeping Satou safe and making sure he grows up to be the top sorcerer so their clan can stay above everyone.)

" Gabimaru" a fragile sorrowful voice called out to him

" Ms.Bushdia? Why do you look pale?" Gabimaru responded to her.

(Ms. Bushdia aka Aiko Bushdia has been by my side ever since I was born, I would consider her as my mother instead of the one I was cursed to have. Ms.Bushida was always next to me through all my hard days and taught me everything I know. Only my kind soul belongs to her .)

" Your father has summoned you into his office Gabi" She gestured for him to follow her.

(While we were walking many thoughts came across my mind like Why does he want to see me now? Is he finally going to get rid of me?

Is he going to let me be part of the family?

There are so many possibilities that can happen during this conversation and soon I will find out. )

" No matter what happens young master, I'll continue to be on your side" Ms. Bushida grabbed my hand and continued to walk forward into my father's office.

As soon as he opens the door a huge amount of pressure weighs down his shoulders. The atmosphere was intense and too quiet. He felt like the people surrounding the room could hear his heartbeat beating out of control. Seeing all the high-class sorcerers in the room with his father, all the possibilities he thought about earlier came down to one.

(I'm finally being kicked out of the clan.)

" You have summoned me, Father?" Gabimaru stood up strong trying not to show them weakness.

" Hearing you call me father irritates me because we both know I am not a father figure in your life but let's cut the small talk." Mr. Gojo leaned forward on his chair "All the higher-ups agree to dismiss you from the clan."

(I knew it….. Even though it came down to this, it still hurts. It breaks me knowing I was never loved by the people who brought me into this world… even though I hate them, deep down inside I wish they would see me as their child too)

" You will drop the Gojo last name and go somewhere else." Principal Gakuganji spoke up.

" A strong clan such as the Gojo clan does not need a useless person taking up space." he continued, degrading him into dust.

" I also agree with what principal Gakuganji said, on your tenth birthday you will leave this family," Mr. Gojo said to Gabimaru.

" Why can't I leave now?" Gabi questioned his father.

" Because it's your mother's wish and I don't know anything more than that." Mr. Gojo replied.

(Why should I suffer even more, I want to go…. I can't wait for another week.)

"Where will I be staying? " Gabi was curious.

Mr. Gojo got up from his seat walked past Gabimaru and stopped in front of his office door "To put this as simply as possible, I really don't care where you are going to be disposed of." and he left the room leaving speechless Gabi in the center of the room feeling miserable. All the higher-ups follow Mr. Gojo's lead and leave Gabi there without having a care in the world about his well-being.

Gentle hands were placed on Gabi's shoulders "Gabi, you will come with me. " Ms. Bushida's kind voice smooth hi and put a smile on his face he didn't say anything back to her but she knew that he was thrilled to coming with her.

It's almost nightfall, going to the forest in the back of the mansion when Gabi sees Satoru with family security. The two shared eye contact until he scoffed and shrugged his shoulders at me. The twins never talked growing up, they were always apart because the two of them were in two different types of worlds. Gabi carries on with going to the woods to see his friend Sabishî.

" Hi," A hoarse voice called out behind the big ginkgo tree.

" SABISHĪ!" Gabi called out happy to see her.

Sabishī is a low-ranking curse that can't harm anyone. Even though in the supernatural world every curse should get exercise, not all curses are bad. From what Gabi knows Sabishī just wants to be reunited with her family but she can't.

(It must suck being bound to a place far away from where your family lives.)

" As much as I want to leave this place, the sad part is that I will have to leave you here all alone." Gabi shed a tear while holding his head down from stopping himself to stare into the curse eyes.

"Be... hap..py Gabi," Sabishī said while patting his back.

" I wish the same for you.."

" Gabi….go …it's dangerous." Sabishī cut Gabimaru off.

" Huh, what do you mean?" Gabi is confused about Sabishī outburst.

" Hunt..ers," she warned Gabi.

Gabimaru got up and ran through the forest trying to get back to the mansion, he was facing many small obstacles such as falling on rocks and hurting his arm from the tree branches, and when he finally made it to the back entrance some of the helpers got brutally killed.

(What… What's happening ?)

The screaming from the inner mansion broke Gabi's distressed state and he ran into the mansion. He witnessed a man with a vendetta guy mask holding a gun to his mother's lower stomach.

" Gabimaru help me!" Mrs. Gojo crying out for help.

" Shut up!" The vendetta man roars to get dominance in the situation.

"What's going on?" the young boy stepped closer to the two.

"Kid, this can all end right now if you tell me where is Satou Gojo," the masked man asks nicely trying to diffuse the situation.

" DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING GABIMARU!" Mrs. Gojo yelled at her son.

" I don't know where he is, I was forbidden to be close to him," Gabi replied to the masked man in a panicking manner.

" Why is that, boy?" The masked man aimed the gun at Gabi and put his foot on the side of Mrs. Gojo's head.

Gabi looked down at the floor while tears started to stream down his face as he answered "Because…. Because I'm a disgrace to the family and they kicked me out."

The man took his aim off Gabi out of sympathy and focused on Mrs. Gojo. " Where is Satoru Gojo at, bitch?" he proceeded to kick her in the gut.

" Gabimaru you are going to let this madman hit your mother! " she cried out " Help me please!"

Gabimaru looked in as mother's direction and began to step a few steps toward her but he stopped when The masked man faced Gabi and shook his head." I know you're just a little kid but she manipulating you, boy." The man slammed his food on Mrs. Gojo's stomach " If your mother loves you, in situations like this she will risk her life to save her kids, just like how she screamed at you to make sure you don't give me your brother's location, she should use that time to tell you to run away"

(He's right…)

" Gabimaru help me you son of a bitch!! YOU USELESS WASTE OF TRASH!" she screamed at him and her voice echoed through the empty hallways.

" You see? A real mother would not do that." The masked man shrugged his shoulders while twisting his foot in her guts.

Mrs.Gojo is wiggling from under his grasp trying to escape his foothold and then looking at Gabimaru "The reason why I wanted you to stay for longer is to show you that your life is meaningless and your brother will forever be the superior son….

The masked man shoots her twice in her leg making sure she doesn't move he walks to Gabi and looks into his eyes " I can see that you suffering and I'm sorry that I probably traumatized you at such a young age but all I can offer you is that I won't kill you and you can talk to your mother for the moments she has left… goodbye." the masked man disappeared in the fog without a trace behind.

Gabimaru walks to his mom lying on the floor in a pitiful state bends down towards her and leans close to her ear " I guess your life is more meaningless than mine." he bitterly chuckled at himself.

Gabi's eyes were changing from blue eyes to red clock eyes. Mrs. Gojo was in shock when she has seen her son's eyes change and as soon as he touch her she felt like her life force was sucking away.

(Why do I feel like I'm getting so much energy and why is my eyesight red?)

" Gabi… you're killing me…. Get your hands off me. '' Mrs. Gojo gasping for air.

" Huh, why should I? This is the most I've been happy, I feel like my body is powering up with energy." Gabi had a smile graced his face and Mrs. Gojo couldn't even recognize her son anymore.

Within minutes of touching his mother, her skin started to decay and her bones started to show.

" I guess…I was wrong…." Mrs.Gojo took her last breath before she was nothing more but bones.

(Did I just kill her?)

Gabi just sat there thinking about what just happened and why he was feeling good seeing his mother vanish away right in front of his eyes but when he was lost in thought his eyesight went back to normal or so he thought, as soon as Gabi got up the whole hallways turned into a massive pitch black area.

(WHERE AM I? WHY IS IT SO DARK IN HERE?)

" Hello…?" Gabi managed to gather up the courage to say something.

All of a sudden fire torches lit up around the area and in the middle were skeletons with a curse hovering over it. Gabi carefully approached the curse and walked around it to see it face to face. The curse was small and had long white hair covering most of its body. Gabi took minor steps to the curse but he stopped when it spoke.

" Gabi…maru I'm ..so..rry" the curse pant trying to finish the sentence.

That's when Gabi realized the curse was his own mother. He reached his hand on top of her head and whispered "You have little to no curse energy, you're so tiny and fragile." he bent down to reach eye level with her and proceeded to say "But I'm not sorry." he forcibly ripped her head off but exercising her soul. The spirit that left her cursed body went into the floor and moved like a shadow into Gabi's shadow. He looked down and noticed even if he exercises curses it will still be a part of him. He can still sense his mother's presence within him. The pitch-black room vanished out of nowhere and then he heard Ms. Bushida called out to him.

" Gabi" she was running towards him but put a stop to her movements. She could feel Gabi's enormous curse energy flowing in his body, she thought to herself this can rival Satoru's energy or even be beyond his. She called out to him in curiosity "Gabi, are you okay?" He turned to face her and said, " I killed her twice and I don't feel bad at all." the cold expression he had on his face, Ms. Bushida couldn't believe he was just a 9-year-old kid. She took baby steps to reach him. " I wouldn't do that if I was you. " Gabi looked into her eyes to warn her.

" Wouldn't do what?" Ms. Bushida is confused about his statement.

"Come close to me because I might kill you by mistake." he took steps back to counter Ms.Bushida but she protested him and ran straight to him and hugged him "You idiot boy, you can't kill me, Gabi. " she cried while holding him tight in her arms. Gabi began to have tears falling out of his eyes and said, "She's dead." he was crying out loud. Ms. Bushida squatted down and wiped his eyes.

"It's not your fault Gabi, but we will have to leave this place and act like you were never here tonight." Mrs.Bushia grabbed his hand and fled the mansion. She knows if people find out Gabi has this much curse energy that can be better than Satoru, he will be stuck here forever and nobody can find out that he killed his mother.

Ms. Bushida pov

I hope Mr. Saito can conceal Gabi's curse presence. He's probably the only one home knowing his wife took their daughter to the sorcerer gathering.

"SAITO….KENJI SAITO '' Ms. Bushida yelled to get his attention.

A middle-aged man came out of the building with a ruffed-up black kimono with beat-up wooden sandals.

" What's all the yelling at 10 o'clock in the night? You do know magical girls is on" he said sarcastically.

" It's an emergency. " Ms. Bushida kept the conversation short and dragged Gabi with her inside the Saito home.

"I'm off the clock and…" Before Kenji can finish his sentence Aiko cuts him off.

"Mrs. Gojo is dead '' Ms. Bushdia gave him the raw truth leaving Kenji flabbergasted.

"What did you say.." she cut Kenji off again.

" Gabimaru activate his curse energy and it's something I have never seen before in my 45 years of living. "

Kenji sat on the floor to process everything that was happening.

" How did she die, Aiko? " Kenji asked swiftly while looking straight into her eyes.

Silence took over after he asked that question but Gabi suddenly broke it and walked towards Kenji to face him. " I killed her," Gabimaru said in a cold expressionless tone that Ms. Bushida had never seen before.
