Gabi pov

In the aftermath of what happened, Gabi felt fantastic. He didn't have any remorse about taking a life. Gabimaru is starting to have an understanding of what Higanbana said about showing dominance. During the battle, Gabi didn't feel like the frail being that everyone thinks he is. He felt powerful and indeed enjoyed showing his challengers that he was the superior one in the fight. When he eliminated the two creatures he felt their spiritual energy within him being one with him.

" I see you finally taking this seriously, Gabi." a voice behind him called out to him.

"Ah yes, I am master." Gabi turns around to face his mentor.

Higanbana leans back on a tree bark entertained by how her little protégé finally comes out of his shell and blooms into a mini version of herself.

" Don't get cocky now, boy. Just because you murder one special rank curse doesn't mean you can easily wipe out the others. "

"I must say she is one of the weakest special curses out of the 4 so don't celebrate yet. You still have a long way to go," she informs the boy.

" Where are the others?" Gabi ignores her warning.

Higanbana chuckles at his ambitions, " So you are choosing the reckless route I see. Since you're doing that I won't tell you where the others are. In your training, you are supposed to learn to track and hunt by yourself without my help. If anything happens to you just scream my name so I can heal you."

Gabi sucked his teeth at her and walked past her, " Watch me slaughter each one of them without your help." and he soon disappeared deep into the spine-chilling forest.

" Cockniess doesn't suit him. I guess he will have to find out by himself to finally realize he is still a weakling." Higanbana spoke to herself as she fixed her hair.

Gabi was taking Higanbana's advice and trying to track down his targets. One thing about Gabi he doesn't know how to sense spiritual energy; he is still learning how to use his powers because he has no control over them. He walked to the highest hill so he could see the whole field of vision of his surroundings. He started to do breathing exercises to calm himself down to have full control of his emotions. Gabi closes his eyes leaving his mind blank and continues breathing in and out. As soon as he was finished his senses became hyperesthesia he could hear everything within his area even the little prey running through the forest to hearing the fishes swimming in the water. Gabi felt the wind stronger on his skin than normally, the wind was so strong that he started to get goosebumps on his arms. Instead of seeing 20 feet away, his vision improves to see 50 feet away. Lastly, his sense of smell intensifies dramatically to the point he can smell all of the deceased beings around him making him want to gag. When he got used to this he was focusing on finding the rest of the special curse so he could accomplish his training to get out of here. From the far right Gabimaru could see a woman limping near the river he decided to rush to her aid. Gabi jumped down from the towering hill and landed on the unsanitary ground that was stained with dry blood and rotten flesh. Gabi realizes not just his sense has heightened but so is his physical abilities. His cardio stamina is enhanced to the point when he goes to his designated location in under 5 minutes. When Gabi got there he scanned his area to find the woman he saw from afar, he caught a whiff of a metallic smell and he knew it was blood. He followed the scent and it lent him to a woman kneeling on the ground getting sliced up by three ferret-looking creatures who had arms and legs at sharp razors. Gabimaru saw wicked beings slicing up the defenseless woman to the point where three wessels severed her head from her body and when her hand almost landed on the ground one of the creatures jumped in the air and chopped it up into multiple small bits of pieces making the face unrecognizable.

Even though Gabi wants to take them down he can't make a point of how to react because the three Wessel moves at the speed of light making it hard for Gabi to tell where they would come from. He slowly retreated trying to take baby steps walking backward because he hadn't been detected by them. When he was almost at a great distance from them Gabi was doing a victory dance in his head thinking he would escape but luck wasn't on his side today. Gabi steps on a tree branch causing the creatures to look in his direction.

" Oh shit," Gabi mumbles to himself because he knew he fucked up at this moment.

Before the vile creatures charge at him Gabimaru beat them to it and headed for the hills to get away from them. It was life or death in the situation and Gabi was choosing to live but the predators behind him were making it hard for Gabi. The 3 beasts teamed up together and one of the Wessels chopped up a tree bark in half while the other one jumped up in the air chopping up the bark into decent size of sharp pieces the last weasel used their body to create a strong wind breeze to aim the sharped-edged bark pieces at Gabimaru.

When Gabi was running his senses were alarming him that he was endangered. He tilted his head to the side to see what was going on and that's when he saw the knife-like weapons flying towards him trying to pierce his flesh. Gabi luckily dodged the pieces that were after him by jumping to the left getting away from being stabbed. Gabimaru thought he was in the clear when a stray piece penetrated his left calf, making Gabi tumble down the steep hill.

Gabi groaned from the soreness of his body from rolling down the rocky hill and his cav throbbing in pain from the bark piece jamming deepening in his leg. Gabi was moving his body to shake the soreness off, then he bent his leg to have a better grip in trying to remove a big chunk of bark that was in his calf.

As soon as Gabi finished taking out the bark he ripped his shirt and wrapped it around the injury part to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding. He thought he was out of the woods when he did not see nor hear the creatures that were chasing him. but he thought wrong, Gabi stood up and was limping away from the scene until a surprise attack struck him. Before he even notices his forearm detach from his body flying away in front of his eyes. Gabi was so shocked that his body didn't even feel the pain. The three beings regroup right in front of him and sneer at him while being in defense mode ready to attack the boy.

Gabi chuckles at his agonizing self " This is what she meant. However, I won't give her the satisfaction of my miserable self. I will exterminate these rodents."
