79 Culling Games III

At the edge of the barrier of the Culling Games, there stood Eino and her classmate.

"Eino, are you really staying here? It's dangerous." Her classmate said concerned for her well-being.

Eino put on a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, didn't I show you how strong I am?"

Still, this didn't put away the fear away. "I'll see you in class soon, so make sure you studied well for the exam."

"Haha. I think that's the least of my concerns right now."

The girl then left the barrier and looked back to Eino. "Be safe."

"You too." Eino said as she saw her friend disappear from this barrier.

'Now with the girl gone, let's get down to business.' Arai's voice was heard by her inside her head.

'It still feels off talking with someone like this.' Eino commented and started walking back to the city. 'So, what's the plan?'

'The plan right now is to get as many points as we can. We'll make two rules. One is going to be information of players to be seen. The second is going to be travel or communications between colonies to be formed since our phone isn't working,'

'But don't we need to kill to get points? I'm not so inclined with killing people Arai...'

'I'll be in charge of that, I can temporarily take over the body and use both of our techniques. Fortunately I still have my Heavenly Pacts since they are imbedded into my very my soul. Or should I say our soul.'

Eino walked over to a convenience store and sat down at one of the benches.

'Eino, I'll take over your body for a second. I need to test a few things.' Arai said.

'Sure, just don't do anything weird.' With that, she relinquished her body to him.

Her eyes glowed green for a moment before it dimmed down becoming completely white like a blind man. He put his hand into his ear but found nothing to be inside his Heavenly Pact.

"Hm, just as I expected. All my Heavenly Pacts are working. Though it looks like I lost some of my cursed energy since you have less than my original body and it seems like the Heavenly Pacts haven't completely integrated inside the body. My wind technique also seems to have been lost. I'm guessing since he was in my storing Heavenly Pact, with my death it looks like the the storage was lost or destroyed since that is linked to my ear. We'll have to lay low for a while, my body isn't adjusted to yours yet. Maybe a couple of days will be a good break."

'Well I'm not a sorcerer.' Eino replied in his mind. 'But never mind that, are you planning on getting in touch with your friends? This city has gone crazy.'

"Of course, I need to get up to date with what happened. Hopefully everything went well, not like in Shibuya." Arai said as he entered the store that was now devoid of anyone and took out some snacks that he preferred.

'What happened there?' Eino asked curious.

Arai stopped eating for a moment before sighing. "*Sigh* A couple thousand of people died, Maki and Nanami were killed as well."

'By who?'

"A sorcerer that incarnated as well from the past. The most feared one named Ryomen Sukuna. I'm planning to fight him later on since he's the on who killed me and Maki."

'And Nanami?'

"He was killed by a cursed spirit. I took revenge and killed it. It won't be hurting anyone else so don't worry about it."

'...that's a lot to take in.'

"Sure is. Which is why we find the chance, I'll change body's with someone else." Arai said before throwing away the bag of chips he had just finished.

'Fine by me, I'd rather not have some dude in my head.'

"In this case, it's you in my head."

That was what Arai needed to do, he needed to keep her away from battles as soon as he could. When he obtains his 100 points, he'll travel to another colony and then find Itadori Yuji as fast as he can. When finished, he will find a new body and use his technique to them and gain control to keep her away from all the danger.

"I won't make the same mistake I did with Maki. Never again." He vowed to never to the same. Not just for her, but everyone he cared about.

"Hah? Fushiguro Megumi is going to inherit the position of clan leader?" 

Naoya Zen'in said as he gripped the arm chair with his power shattering it. He threw the chair he sat on at the wall making the woman next to him flinch. She was Maki and Mai's biological mother.

"How does any of this make any sense? A nobody is inheriting the position of our leader, what kind of sick joke did that old man think he was doing before dying. He should of just quietly handed me everything." He seethed in anger, he just couldn't believe some nobody that he had never heard of taking over the clan that he had been told since childhood that he was going to inherit. This was practically saying that he would never become more than just the chief of the Hei. 

Naoya now resolved himself. He was going to kill Fushiguro Megumi and take what was rightfully his.

"What about the twins? What were their names again?"

"They are Maki and Mai." 

"Yes, that's right. I haven't seen them in so long but seeing them all grown up makes me so happy. A shame that Maki girl died, I guess I'll have to go for her sister."

"Hah? Fushiguro Megumi is going to inherit the position of clan leader?"

His statement made the woman next to him flinch but go back to her usual aloof self. This was caught by Naoya who narrowed his eyes to the woman but soon he let go as something more important came up.

Sliding the door to the side, Nobuaki, leader of the Kukuru Unit, bowed his head down to him.

"Naoya, someone came is demanding to enter the vault to get the weapons from inside of it."

"Weapons? Who?"

"It's Fushiguro Megumi and his friends are here."

"Speak of the devil!"

Naoya stood up and looked outside to see 4 figures. In front was Fushiguro Megumi, the boy he wanted to see. He would make sure that he died and he could inherit the position. He remembered what he had spoken with Ougi, biological parent of Maki and Mai, and Jinichi. 

"Fushiguro Megumi is someone that has good ties with both the Kamo and Gojo clan. Removing him without any justification will only worsen our reputation towards the higher-ups and clans. What we need to do, is blame them for something."

"So we're planting fake evidence."

"Fake? There's no reason to. They've been putting their evidence everywhere. A new rule has been put by the higher-ups. Anyone who helps Gojo Satoru be released will be executed."

"That's not a bad idea."

His memory ended there. 

Naoya walked to Megumi and behind him were all of the Hei members, all sorcerers that were at least semi-first grade. They were all powerful in their own right but the members of Megumi's group were no slouch either. Naoya narrowed his eyes as he could feel that they were all strong in their own right.

"Sheesh, why is everyone glaring at us?" Itadori said as he could feel the glares.

"We did come here unannounced." Choso said unbothered by the hate in their eyes. He was used to it and had to make an example for his younger siblings about his unwavering will.

"They're just jealous of your greatness brothers." Malenia said as she tried to cheer up her siblings.

They were the Blood Brothers and Sisters.

Itadori, Choso and Malenia had all joined up and stayed behind Megumi.

Naoya saw them standing still waiting for someone to come up and talk to them. He looked back to see everyone standing back, not wanting to stand up and let him take the role. He smiled knowing how much respect everyone gave him and walked up to Megumi while smiling.

"It's good to finally meet you, Fushiguro. I've been looking to meet you for years yet we never had the chance to actually meet each other. I am Nao-"

"Shut up. I don't care."

His greetings stopped as the fake smile he put on crumbled and was replaced by a cold and angry face.

"...what." 

"Remember this Megumi, those pieces of trash don't care about you. They'll kill you the moment they can, so when you get there. Don't show any mercy, play by their rules and come out victorious." 

Mai's words reverberated inside his head as he coldly looked at the men standing in his way.

"Will you submit and help me or will you get in my way?" Megumi said as he pulled out a blade from his shadows.

"Look I don't think that you're getting what's happening, why don't you put that sword away before you get yourself hurt." Naoya said as he got closer until he was at arm's length of Megumi.

"Answer the question." Megumi said not backing down.

"You really thought I would say yes."

"Of course not, there's no way someone like you would."
