Is Sukuna a fraud?

Yes:

No:

He's not, but it's a funny meme:

I don't think he is a fraud, but I like the meme, so I use it.

__________

Tengen

It's finally done.

Naohiro showed adaptive traits similar to Mahoraga in their fight, so I used the current barrier as a base to develop further than what was made to contain The Divine General.

A barrier that constantly shifts traits will render any form of adaptation useless as long as it is kept stable.

He escaped the prison realm, the most complex sealing object in existence, so I went above and beyond.

His adaptation technique is likely stronger than Mahoraga's, so I have even more countermeasures, even with the barrier created.

Even someone like Ryomen Sukuna wouldn't be able to escape. Even if he somehow had the adaptation of Mahoraga, the shifting barrier would keep him in place.

The main issue is that the barrier is so complex that I must constantly monitor the structure.

I have enough to worry about, and I'd rather not have to constantly monitor a prison-like structure.

Balance.

The balance ideology has been on my mind for longer than I can remember. I never had to do something as drastic as this.

It makes me feel like Kenjaku.

A master of barrier techniques, complex planning, and a desire to evolve.

While I don't necessarily want to evolve, I hate feeling this way.

However, I still can't decide.

...

My eyes widen. "What!?"

Someone is entering my barrier, but they are trying to hide their presence.

I wouldn't have sensed them if I hadn't been focusing.

I'll need to call someone before they get here.

*Ding*

The elevator dings and a woman walks toward me with a smile.

My eyes narrow. "Those stitches..."

She smiles. "It's been a while, you shut in."

My eyes narrow further. "Kenjaku."

As I prepare to send a signal, she, or rather Kenjaku, speaks up. "Naohiro Zenin."

I pause.

He raises his hands in a mock surrender and smiles. "I'm not here to fight. I want to talk to you."

I scowl. "There is nothing to discuss."

He smirks. "Then why haven't you sent a distress signal? It's not like Satoru Gojo and Naohiro Zenin are close enough to stop me from doing things to you."

I cross my arms as he walks over and sits down across from me. "What do you want?"

He rests his head on his hand. "The same thing you do. To keep the balance of the world in check. You see, Naohiro Zenin has been a thorn in my side."

My face turns neutral. "Then why do you think I'll help you?"

He huffs a laugh. "Don't act like you want to keep him in the picture. He shouldn't exist. The ultimate anomaly. The laws of the world do not bind the man. He's unpredictable and can cause havoc for you and me."

I ponder while he continues. "I know you and I don't see eye-to-eye, but he is better gone than free to roam around, so I want to work together with you."

My hair falls down on my face as I tilt my head down. "What do you get out of all of this?"

He gives me a closed-eye smile. "Predictability. I hate not knowing things, and I saw what you made on my way here. Something that I couldn't even fathom of creating. You created a barrier capable of sealing the anomaly."

I look back up and narrow my eyes at him. "I dislike you to the point where it would be better for you not to exist."

He shrugs and sticks his tongue out. "Ouch."

I continue. "However, he is a problem that needs solving."

He smirks. "What's the deal?"

...

Naohiro

*WOOSH*

Gojo ended up being nice enough to teleport us back to the Zenin compound.

Then, he cups his mouth. "MEGUMI! YOUR CREEPY CRUS- SISTER IS BACK!"

Not even a few seconds later, Megumi comes sprinting around the corner.

He puts his hands on his knees as he exhales. "*Huff* *Huff* Is she alright?"

Gojo smirks as he nudges me. "If getting a black flash to the stomach is alright, then yeah, she's great!"

His eyes widen in horror.

I try to bonk Gojo, but he teleports a few feet away from me and sticks his tongue out at me while tilting his glasses down.

Groaning, I explain myself after shooting Gojo a glare. "A past sorcerer possessed Tsumiki, so I had to force the sorcerer out of her. She is completely fine."

He falls on his back. "Thank God."

Naoya peaks his head around the corner. "Hey, you came back!"

I raise an eyebrow. "I told you, I'm trying to fix it."

He shrugs. "Well, I'll believe it when I see it."

I smile, but it turns sad when I think of the past day.

Stop relying on previous knowledge. Use it as a base, but I can't let something like this happen again.

I look at Megumi.

No matter what, Sukuna can not possess him.

Most of us walk back into the compound as Gojo teleports away. Of course, Megumi is carrying Tsumiki.

...

A few hours later, I went to talk to Megumi.

As long as Kenjaku and Sukuna are issues, I must keep him away.

*Slide*

I slide open his door.

He looks irritated. "Ever heard of knocking!?"

I walk over and sit next to him. "Megumi. I need to talk to you about something."

His eyes widen. "Are you going to tell me about sex?"

I recoil. "NO! It's serious. *Ahem* While you have the potential to become a fantastic sorcerer in the future, someone really bad is going to be gunning for you. People can use your technique to cause chaos if they get ahold of it."

He lies back on his hands. "You're the 'strongest,' right? Just keep me around the compound, and nobody will think of messing with me, right?"

I tilt my head down. "I couldn't protect Tsumiki from being kidnapped; she was a vessel. You have an entire technique that has a nuke attached to it. You are prime candidate number one to have your body stolen."

He sits up. "What are you getting at?"

I turn to him. "I'm going to make sure that nobody can get ahold of you while they are problems."

His eyes widen. "What does that mean for me!?"

I sigh. "*Sigh* Tengen is the strongest barrier master in the world. I can guarantee your safety if she creates a specific barrier for you."

He stands up. "How long would it be?"

I rest my head on my hands.

He speaks up. "Well!?"

*tap*

I stand up and poke his head before he falls unconscious.

I'm sorry, Megumi. You'll probably hate me, but you are the perfect vessel for Sukuna. Child or not, you must be kept safe while I kill Kenjaku.

I pick him up and put him on my shoulder before heading towards The Tombs of the Star.
