10 Daily Routine

Kazuhiko stood outside, contemplating how he could develop his physical strength.

Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice calling out to him.

"Kazuhiko! What are you doing outside? Are you heading to the supermarket alone again?"

He turned to find Kumiko-nee-chan, a plain girl with glasses, dressed in a peculiar uniform.

Kazuhiko was surprised to see her, "Kumiko-nee-chan, what brings you here? Has school already ended for the day?" he asked. 

The concept of schools was entirely new to Kazuhiko.

He learned that schools are institutions that provide an environment for young learners to acquire knowledge and skills under the guidance of teachers.

Schools not only teach students different ideas and concepts but also prepare them to face the challenges of society by imparting essential job skills and communication abilities.

Kazuhiko realized that in his previous life, there were no schools that catered to everyone, regardless of their social status.

In his previous world, only people with high standards and sufficient financial backgrounds could hire teachers to educate their children.

"Heh~ The one who should ask a question here should be me, an adult okay? So, are you going outside alone? all by yourself? if Haruko-san knows she will be worried."

Kumiko was a middle-grade schooler who was the living in neighborhood.

Due to the daily routine of Kazuhiko, most of the people in the neighborhood know him as a little, cute little child who takes a walk around this exact time daily.

Hearing her Kazuhiko started to walk a few steps with a comically serious expression on his face which was similar to what he saw on television called Anime.

"Kekeke... Kumiko-nee-chan won't understand the burden the world gave up on me since birth..."

"Hah?"

"Even still I will tell you one big secret, listen well..."

Kumiko rolled her eyes, as she watched the child spouting nonsense in front of her with interest.

"...I am not just walking around for fun just as you think, nee-chan. What I am doing right now is protecting people in our neighborhood from the evil spirits that live everywhere around us."

"Protecting people from the evil spirit?... You?"

"Yes, I know you didn't believe me... but the people with special powers like me could only save the normal people like you... Even though it was hard, as a man I shouldn't turn my back on the weak!"

As Kazuhiko finished his speech, he brushed off his hair in a relaxed manner, to show himself in a cooler manner. 

"Pff-haha... hahaha..."

Seeing that, Kumiko broke into an uncontrollable laugh.

That was so funny in her eyes.

On the other hand, Kazuhiko glaring her with a serious face, not exactly at her but at the curse that looks like a worm that surrounded her neck and sucked something from her forehead with its disgustingly long lips.

'Third-grade curse... I didn't see it two days before when I saw Kumiko-nee last time. It must have been freshly attached itself with her.'

"Haha... A two-year-old child calling himself a man... hahaha.."

As he laughed more, the curse reacted, strange mark started to spread on her forehead.

'Mmm? It's reacting... is this curse's ability something to do with the emotions of people? I need to kill it before it does something, right now...'

"Ha... Kazuhiko, you should stop watching anime all the time..."

"Kumiko-nee, you have laughed at one of the true heroes of this world, apologize right now..."

"Pff- ha... What you will do if I don't?"

Kazuhiko used his hand to make a gun puppet as he pointed at her.

"If Kumiko-nee didn't apologize I will use this gun of justice to punish you..."

"Ha~ Scary~ what should I do now?"

Kazuhiko looked at her smirking face with a series expression as he gathered a cursed energy in his hand.

"Hmph, even now you still understand the thread didn't you, nee-chan?... Then it can't be helped... *Boom*"

At The same time, he shouted funnily, the mass of cursed energy precisely shot at the curse, without affecting Kumiko at all.

Just like before the curse on her neck blew and exorcised immediately.

"AHH~ Kazuhiko shot me!..."

After seeing that the curse was destroyed and Kumiko was safe, Kazuhiko completely ignored her fake acting.

Kumiko pretended to be shot by the gun just to play with Kazuhiko, but he began to walk away with a pouting expression.

Kumiko noticed that Kazuhiko didn't even look at her anymore, as if he were furious.

She stopped pretending and followed him. All the weak curses were hunted and eaten by Kazuhiko's divine dogs.

"You don't have to follow me, I can go alone..."

"Don't be so angry, nee-chan will buy you a pudding if you forgive me... how about that?"

Kazuhiko stopped in his tracks when he heard her. His eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Pudding?!"

"Yes..."

"You're going to buy it for me?!"

Pudding is a soft, thick, or spongy dessert or savory dish made with sweetened milk or cream, a thickener, and flavoring.

Even in his thousands of years in his past life, only a few foods were able to genuinely impress him as this dessert.

Buying pudding was another reason for his daily routine other than training his divine dogs.

"Mmm... but what should I do? You seem to be angry at me though?"

"I am not... angry anymore."

"Heh~ Is that so? if you call me onee-sama once, I will buy you two-"

"ONEE-SAMA..."

"Oi oi oi, that's so fast... I didn't even finish talking, just how much did you like pudding?!"

Before Kumiko would change her mind, he immediately grabbed her hand led her to the supermarket, and made her buy two puddings just as she said.

"*sigh* Why do I feel like scammed somehow?"

Kazuhiko's face was full of smiles as returning home.

Upon return, he noticed that his parents had returned.
