8 Chapter 8- Senpai?

Sitting under the parasol, that hid the person from the dazzling sunlight, the man remained idle and showed a relaxed demeanor; even though his surroundings could easily make any curse user, uncomfortable.

The black-haired youth in his late twenties with peculiar stitch marks going around his forehead was having a conversation with his 'allies' about the upcoming Kyoto-sister goodwill event that would transpire in Jujutsu High.

The person, who once was known as Suguru Geto was the plotter behind the attack on Jujutsu High. However, the ambush of a Special-grade curses spirit on some measly students was just a distraction, so that they could retrieve something from Jujutsu High in the meantime.

The reason they needed a distraction despite having more than four special grades on their side, was because of a single individual.

The Six Eyes user, Gojo Satoru.

"Hanami, while you would be targeting the students, be wary of a certain individual with a scar over his left eye and wielding a black sword." Hearing Geto's warning, it was the patch-faced cursed spirit who asked,

"Why...is he strong?" The way Mahito licked his lips was slightly disturbing for the mission, considering how Mahito wasn't supposed to come to light as of now.

However, the black-haired youth didn't comment on that and answered the question, "Shirakawa Ryuuji is an anomaly who came into light a year ago, during Christmas, and has been pretty much dormant since then. However, I haven't seen his full potential until now; which makes things complicated."

Kenjaku's reason for concern always remains in uncertainty. While he knows that a single special-grade teenager would amount to nothing in front of true danger like Jogo or Mahito, it doesn't mean they could entirely skip over his existence and proceed without caution.

"Do I need to participate in this as well?" Jogo, who still was recovering after its one-side beat down, asked in a grim voice.

"That would be overkill. And also Mahito, try to keep your hands off him." Geto dismissed the concerns with a soft smiling face and ignored the sullen look Mahito targeted at him.

While Hanami might be the weakest among the four present here, doesn't mean it would meet its end at the hands of some teenage individuals.

And if it does die at the hands of the anomalous student named Ryuuji, then Kenjaku might need to change plans for Halloween.

[Present day]

"Hehhh?!" Itadori Yuji was beyond disappointed by the lack of reaction from his teammates, even though he appeared before them after months of being labeled as a dead soul.

He was expecting even the other team to be a little flustered, but,

'All they are interested in, is that souvenir...' Imaginary tears welled in the eyes of the pink head as he noticed how least important was he for them.

If anyone then it was the wrinkled-faced old man, who seemed a little attentive in the wrong manner toward Yuji,

"Sukuna's vessel?!" Well, being higher up Yuji could understand why the old man would be pissed upon seeing the calamity-preserving-individual still alive.

"I certainly believed that you would die because of a heart attack." While crouching to match the eye level of the old man, Gojo commented—much to elevate the principal's agitation.

"You brat!" However, the anger only remained in verbal form, since everyone present here knew, what would happen if someone tried to be physical with Satoru.

"Oi! Explain yourself." Yuji was startled by the sudden kick on the cart before he turned to face the grim-looking best friends of his.

With small tears forming at the corner of his eyes, the first year spoke, "Sorry...I didn't tell ya..."

Itadori intended to explain things to the two of them, since despite being a little less enthusiastic, they seemed frustrated as well as relieved upon his return.

However, before Itadori could have said anything, the place went entirely silent.

It wasn't like someone told them to shut their mouths or there was a curse technique to bring the serenity—it was rather a presence that made everyone instantly turn toward a single direction with their stance prepared to attack.

If anyone then of course, it was Gojo who seemed the most relaxed with a toothy grin extending his lips as he gazed past the limits of a normal sorcerer to confirm the identity of the new arrival.

"Ah, you are finally here."

From the shadows, appeared a youth in his late teens walking with a drowsy expression on his visage. His raven hair was roughly covering his forehead and his violet eyes provided an ensnaring charm to anyone who looked at them intently. The man had a lean build with broad shoulders and long arms.

He was wearing the same dark blue uniform pants as the others but in place of a hoodie-like Itadori, the person had a jacket over his upper body with a white t-shirt underneath.

With his hand tucked in his pocket, the man advanced toward them without a care in the world.

"Tch." It was Maki who clicked her tongue seeing the person, however the students from the other school didn't have the leisure to express their emotions seeing the sudden appearance of the student.

While Todo had a neutral expression on his face, Mai, Megumi, Toge, Momo, and Miwa looked highly concerned. Panda and Mechamaru's expressions were unreadable as always while Kamo looked slightly agitated. As for Nobara and Itadori, then they wore an entirely confused stance toward the person.

Even Utahime looked tensed upon realizing the student's identity and his sudden appearance in the event.

"Alright students, this is your Senpai from second year, Shirakawa Ryuuji-kun. Please share your candies with him, to be on his good side."

As always, Gojo chimed in to release the air of stress among the students and help Ryuuji to blend in.

However, none of it mattered to Ryuuji as he walked toward the oldest one, and offered his greetings,

"It's been a while, Principal. I am glad to see you alive."

The person in question raised his wrinkled brow and glared at the student who evidently throwing sarcasm at him.

"Shirakawa Ryuuji...with what purpose have you shown your face?" Gakuganji didn't show even a shard of hesitation before rebuking the person in front.

Up until now, Gakuganji had planned to force every student from Kyoto High to surround and kill Itadori Yuji. However, with the inclusion of Ryuuji, things might become a little tricky—much to the Principal's annoyance.

Unbothered by the older one's inner turmoil, a grin spread Ryuuji's lips before he muttered in a hushed voice,

"Hmm, isn't it clear?" Crouching down a little to meet the man's eye, Ryuuji concluded,

"I just want to flunk all your plans of killing Sukuna's vessel."
