13 Cracking the sphere

Through the cursed energy output shot by the cursed womb, Ray managed to neutralize them by blocking them with the aura net. Maki grabbed the back of the staff and pushed through, making the iron sharp tip stabbed into the flesh.

Ray pulled himself and punched him in the head. Their combination didn't the curse womb to move. As time turned, the teamwork was getting shaped.

' She can keep up with me. ' Ray glanced at Maki with surprise. He always thought Maki was strong physically but he didn't think she would keep up with him when he was reinforcing himself with immense cursed energy.

He ducked the staff and made away for Maki. She leaped through the air using his back as support.

Ahh!

She shouted for strength. She slashed the head in half. Immediately the curse regenerated.

' There must be some kind of way to kill. Our attack only managed to suppress the curse. ' Ray looked at Maki. She also looked back, returning his thought.

' We need a final attack. '

Even though, the thought process was the same. The pressure fall onto Ray, as if he had cursed energy. He had a wider range of attacks than Maki's cursed weapon.

I have a slash trait which makes my attack like a sword cutting. It's great and all but for special curses with fast regeneration, it pales in attack. I just want my attack to kill curses in one hit.

He cursed to himself. Like last time, he lacked the killing blow.

' And the domain is getting stronger. '

Memories of previous fights flashed in him. He remembered how helpless he felt when the black flash appeared. The pain he remembered unde the thick skin.

Domain. Incomplete domain. He repeated the words.

He needed to break the domain. Otherwise, the curse will just be stronger.

' I am sure the curse has enough cursed energy to build up the complete domain. '

If the cursed womb manages to complete the domain in time, they lose.

This battle was forcing them to break through the limit. Ray laughed.

He didn't why in every battle he was forced to learn something. He just wanted to swing his fist. Wait.

' Can't I just punch the domain? Sure breaking the domain inside was hard but this domain is incomplete. '

I need a new kind of fist to punch the domain.

He yelled at Maki. " Keep him busy. I will try to break free from the domain. "

Maki nodded.

Ray backed away from the fight and ran to the wall. He looked at his fist and recalled all the information about a domain. Gojo taught well enough in that subject.

The problem was his solution to the domain lay in killing the opponent inside the domain or using the domain. Ray didn't have any of them.

' I have a simple domain. Simple domain. '

' That is the answer. '

Simple domain made a barrier around the user's body to protect them from the effect of domain expansion. It was focused on defence.

Domain for a weak.

' If I can apply simple domain into my fist, I am sure something would happen. I can make a binding vow with the simple domain. '

He closed his eyes, working his brain to calculate the barrier technique. Applying the barrier around himself was easy because of his practice.

Now Ray was pulling that barrier into his fist. His smile flashed across his face.

' It is hard. '

His head was spinning around, cursed techniques were working along with the simple domain. This phenomenon was like creating a cursed technique without a catalyst.

And with the nature of the simple domain and his cursed techniques made it even harder for Ray.

The moment he conjured the simple domain in his fist, aura manipulation also emerged. The technique was cancelled due to that, as the technique broke, the conjured energy also broke.

He cursed. This was the first time his cursed technique was showing burdens. Nevertheless, he tried to make the simple domain in his hand.

As a result binding vow was formed.

As a product of negative emotions, cursed energy responds to the desires of its users.

The condition of the binding vow was when he used a simple domain application, it would make him unable to use the cursed technique.

He looked at his fist with a smirk. ' Not enough. It would break the barrier but it can't neutralize innate techniques like the domain would. I suppose that would mean creating a domain and applying it to my hands. '

He glanced behind, Maki was pushing the cursed womb.

He nodded and punched at the white wall. Crack formed.

He punched again. Pieces of domain fall to the floor. He saw outside through the crack.

Ray yelled. " Brace yourself. " The punch which was surrounded by a light blue aura met the crack.

It broke through the wall.

Domain was broken.

Gojo smiled as he looked at his students. Panda and Toge were walking out of the cemetery with purple blood-soaked on their uniform. Gojo took out a phone and took pictures.

He pointed at them and laughed. " You should see your face. That curse swallowed Toge and Panda was chased by that giant lip curse. "

Hearing their situation, they both frowned. Cleaning the cemetery was a lot more tiring than the usual mission because of the numerous curses. Although most curses were grades 3 and 4, in unusual cases, Grade 1 would break out.

That is why Gojo was looking out for his students.

As for the other group, even if they met Grade 1 in hospital, Gojo was confident that Ray would survive. As for a special grade curse, it was unlikely it would appear but with simple domain and refined cursed technique.

Ray had the potential to evolve in the fight. That would make him develop faster.

Gojo chuckled at the thought. " Let's go to the school and wait for the Ichiji group. "

Gojo opened the door for his students. They came to the cemetery with a Van.

The Panda was too huge for a car.

Yeah, a simple domain application was the asspull I created. I think I did a good job making it.

It is like domain amplification but a lot weaker. The effect is still mysterious because Ray only uses it to break the domain.
