1330 Not Worth It

It came as a surprise to both Julian and Charizard when they saw the Toxicroak jump so high and cover the distance between Charizard and itself within a second.

But neither of them is worried.

Even though the distance between Charizard and Toxicroak is only a few inches and the impact will take place within milliseconds, Charizard was not bothered at all.

He can, of course, not dodge this because the distance is too little for him to get away safely, so he was left with only one option and that is to counterattack.

Charizard tapped into his dragonic powers with just a thought and brought down a powerful Dragon Claw at Toxicroak. If this was a normal pokemon, it would have tried to block the Dragon Claw with its attack, but Toxicroak is not a normal pokemon.

It only has to follow orders, so it did. It didn't bother to counter the Dragon Claw and continue aiming at Charizard's abdomen. The biggest mistake it could make.

Charizard's Dragon Claw smashed into Toxicroak's head and sent it shooting through the air and impaled it into the ground. It couldn't even touch Charizard's hair.

Guzma's watched this with wide eyes. He didn't know how strong his Toxicroak was because he just got it from that mysterious person.

So when he saw it moving extremely quickly, he got very excited, but his excitement came crashing down as soon as he saw his Toxicroak getting smashed into the ground with just an attack.

Guzma 'Shit, I overestimated my new pokemon'

He thought and gritted his teeth as he is trying to think of a way to get out of here but before he could even come up with a good solution.

He saw his Toxicroak get out of the crater it was planted in and got back to its feet. Seeing this Guzma got excited.

Guzma "Keep fighting, do everything to stop them"

Guzma said and started running.

He didn't care about his new pokemon one bit as it was given to him freely. He values his life more than some random pokemon, and even though losing such a strong pokemon is hurtful, it is not worth his life.

The Toxicroak started to just as it was ordered, as it was made to only follow orders. It didn't even care about Guzma, who started making a run for his life.

Toxicroak once again burst towards Charizard and engaged him in a losing battle.

Julian, of course, wouldn't let Guzma just run away, so he let Gengar handle it.

Guzma is making a run for his life. His hands and feet are in full motion and he is giving it his all to rum away.

Guzma 'Fuck this shit, I don't want to lose my life to that freak... Fuck, I should have not accepted that deal in the first place. It was too good to be true.'

Guzma thought as he continued to run, but then he suddenly noticed something peculiar about his situation.

The scenery in front of him was getting further and further away from him. Guzma panicked and started to run faster, but the faster he tried to run, the further the scenery away from him got.

Guzma "What the fuck is happening?"

He shouted out loud and looked at his feet and saw that his feet are still moving but when he looks back up, his path is getting longer and longer.

Guzma really started to panic, and an unknown fear crept up on him.

He turned his head to look back and was scared shit because he hasn't made a single-meter distance from the scene of the action.

He is still right next to where Toxicroak and Charizard are battling. He saw his Toxicroak getting thrown around like a rag doll, but it continued to get up and tried to fight Charizard.

Guzma "AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!"

Guzma screamed in terror and tried to run, but he couldn't go anywhere. He once again looked at his feet and finally saw the reason behind his current state.

He saw two crimson eyes staring right at him in his shadow, then he saw the thing inside his shadow grin showing off its white teeth.

Guzma suddenly stops and gives up on running as he has frozen up in terror, his whole body is shaking like crazy, he is sweating bullets and his heart rate is through the roof. He feels light-headed and he couldn't take it anymore.

He faints from terror.

Gengar "Gegegegegege"

Gengar laughs as he sees his victim just get knocked out unconscious.

Back to the battle between Charizard and the Shadow Toxicroak. It is a very one-sided battle as Charizard is coming out on top in every exchange and because of this; the Toxicroak is completely beaten up.

If this was a normal pokemon, it would have been knocked out multiple times, but this Toxicroak doesn't have such luxury.

Julian frowns, seeing this because any more damage to the Toxicroak's body and it might legit die, so Julian decides to let Gengar handle this once again.

Julian "Gengar, trap it away and keep an eye on it. Help its body recover as well"

Julian ordered.

Suddenly multiple tentacles made of shadow shot out of the ground and wrapped around Toxicroak's limbs, completely immobilizing it.

Toxicroak tried to struggle free, but it was useless. It then slowly got dragged into Gengar's shadow dimension when it will be taken care of by Gengar as per Julian's instruction.
