1343 It's Time

The beaches of Alola are now completely surrounded by barricades and weapons. On the sandy ones, on the rocky ones, even on top of cliffs.

Alola is getting ready for war, and by now everyone on the island knows that it is happening.

With the sudden increase in the military presence on all the islands confirmed the rumors once and for all.

The other regions realized that something was not right. They figured that Alola was preparing for a war and wanted to assist, but it was too late. They suddenly have their own problems. Rouge militia has suddenly started attacking their borders.

Now they have to focus their might on defending their own land instead of worrying about Alola.

Cipher was prepared. Even though they planned it through, they didn't want unnecessary involvement with foreign forces. So they decided to keep them distracted.

They hired mercenaries to attack all allied regions of Alola while they marched their army toward Alola and they were closer than ever.

Julian wakes up on his bed and looks at the sky outside. Though it is beautiful as the morning orange sky covers Alola, Julian could feel that it is near.

Though he himself couldn't see them, it didn't mean his Pokemon couldn't. Julian has left Gyarados in charge of the Alolan seas and he has been doing a great job.

With his size and strength, he has united the waters of Alola and now he has his own army of pokemons to command. Julian knew that the soldiers of Alola wouldn't be fully ready for war, as they had never experienced it. And with a real war looming, they are afraid and their morals are down.

So the next big thing Julian could think of are pokemons, and Alola is a region with a great diversity of water pokemons. So who better to gather all of them under one banner other than his Gyarados?

Gyarados's minions have been scouting the oceans near Alola and they have noticed human presence around and that too in large numbers.

This information was quickly given to Gyarados, making Gyarados annoyed. And since Julian has a connection with Gyarados, he can tell what Gyarados is feeling.

He knows they are here, and it is time for war.

Julian quickly gets ready and informs the important officials of Alola that Cipher is here and they need to get ready.

His warning caused a commotion, making these officials get to work and start enforcing the beaches and borders of Alola with soldiers and police officers.

Some soldiers hoped on their flying pokemons and some boarded their flying vehicles and started scouring the surrounding waters of Alola.

And it didn't take them long to find evidence of Cipher around these waters. Foreign ships and floating platforms proved their existence.

Some of the soldiers even got attacked by cipher members and were captured. And the ones who didn't get captured, rushed back to inform the officials that Julian's information was legit.

On a remote isolated island very close to the Alolan region is a temporary base set up by Cipher.

A huge futuristic-looking building could be seen being surrounded by Cipher soldiers with vicious pokemons by their side.

Inside the base in the main room, a man with a giant two-toned afro hairstyle is breaking it down to loud music being played through the large speakers around the room.

He seems to be enjoying himself, dancing to the beat when he is disturbed by two men entering the room. One of them is wearing a weird-looking hat that has two domes on it, while the other has blond hair styled like flames with orange tips.

The whole group looks coo-coo.

"Sir, we have captured a few Alola soldiers," the hat-wearing guy says in a little annoyed tone.

"They seem to have somehow figured out that we have already closed in," the blond-haired guy finishes the report.

The afro-haired guy for a moment stops dancing and glances at his henchmen.

"How did they figure it out?" he asked.

"They seem to have been informed by Julian, the champion of Kanto," the hat guy said.

"Julian who?" Miror. B, the man with the afro hair spoke as he had no idea who this Julian was. He is a man who lives his own little world and isn't concerned by worldly matters.

He even hated coming here, but Ein forced him to do so by using the boss's name. No matter how much he despises working, he is not foolish enough to go against the boss.

"Sir, This Julian is the champion of Kanto and is arguably the strongest Pokemon trainer in the world. He has never known defeat," the blond-haired one spoke.

Miror. B frowned upon hearing this piece of information, but he is not worried.

Miror. B "Well it doesn't matter if they know about our arrival or this undefeated Champion, he alone cannot change the tide of this battle. Victory will belong to us and I will soon be able to get out of this boring island."

His words were met by silence as his henchmen didn't know what to say.

Miror. B "What are you idiots waiting for? Inform the generals to get ready. We will attack today"

Miror. B shooed them off and resumed the music. And his body automatically reacted to the music and started moving. A dancer through and through.

Little did he know, his happy mood would soon be literally drowned underwater by Julian and his pokemons.
