Chapter Ten: god-like man

Kim who was carrying so much stuff couldn't even see or walk properly because of the weight of what she was carrying and also because what she was carrying blocked half of her sight.

She then heard a familiar voice call her but she shrugged it off and thought she was thinking of him too much.

"Kim...Kim". The voice called again this time getting more audible.

She then raised her head and confirmed it was him.

Annabelle and Christina who saw the god-like man walking towards them were ogling at his sight. He looked so delicious and ready to be consumed they thought to themselves.

The man began waving at them. They shrieked in excitement that they were being recognized. They began adjusting their dresses and waited for the man to come closer. Only for him to get closer ignoring them and calling out to Kim.

They almost spat blood at how they were ignored all because of Kim.

Jediah then went closer to Kim still ignoring the two ladies that looked like predators awaiting to attack their prey.

"Hey Kim". He said helping her with all the stuff she was carrying.

"I'm so sorry i didn't answer in time". She said apologizing.

"It's okay. What's all these stuff?. it seems heavy for you and don't you have any help?. Infact let me help you". He said attempting to carry what she was carrying.

"I'm fine by myself". she said with her face turning crimson.

The young ladies who were ignored were already spitting fire and fuming with rage.

*cough cough* Annabelle pretended to cough drawing their attention.

"Sorry to be rude". Kim said ready to introduce the two young ladies.

"This is Annabelle and Christina. My step sisters". She introduced them with a smile that never reached her eyes.

"Nice meeting you mi ladies". Jediah responded not taking a glance at the women that were dressed like prostitutes.

"The pleasure is ours". They chorused at the same time.

Kim sneered at how pathetic they were acting. They deserved to be actresses because they are very good in fooling people with their act. She hoped Jediah would not fall for their act.

Jediah then turned to Kim, "I have something for you". He said beaming with smiles.

"Okay...". She was so mesmerized with his smile that she was drowning in it. Then she felt something could touch her wrist.

Jediah pulled out the bracelet he purchased for her and wore it around her wrist.

"I know we don't know each other so well but accept this as a token of my friendship and gratitude for caring for me for the last one month". He said wearing it on her wrist.

Kim who was in a daze snapped out of it by his words. Amusement and shock was written all over her face.

"umm..th..thank you". She stuttered.

Gary who has been ignored all this while coughed to get their attention.

"I seem to be air around you kids huh?" he asked feigning annoyance.

"So sorry uncle Garry. I was carried away and didn't notice your presence". She said apologizing.

Garry then turned to look at Annabelle and Christina who didn't even budge to greet him or show any respect. He didn't feel annoyed because he knew they were spoiled brats.

They didn't notice that Jediah gave Kim a bracelet because they were lost in their own thoughts on how to seduce him into being their boyfriend.

Kim then thanked Jediah over and over again for the gift. He was so happy she liked it. When he saw her, he was so blown away that he couldn't stop staring at her. He thought to himself if it was love or lust he felt for her. He was so confused on how he felt and he desperately needed someone to share how he felt.

He was drawn out of his thought by Kim who told him they had other shoppings to do. She bade them fare well and left with Christina and Annabelle who were still ogling at Jediah's body.
